I chased the solutions for improving the electrical grounds (it helped), inspecting the actuators, and cleaning the forks. The key to cleaning forks is transmission relearn afterwards. If you do not perform a relearn expect no improvements.
I watched your video on how to split the transmission into and check all the gears inside everything was fine on the new one I put in to sorry for all the questions

First off I just want to say ty for answering me but yes I put the shims back on I checked the wiring a few times lol its throwing the exact same codes that the old Trans did and the one I put in has everything thing replaced I I did clear the old codes out oh and the same time the shifting started skipping 3 and 5 the hill start assist not available came on to I apologize for so much ty again
You replaced the whole trans? I didn't know that. Including the harness and TCM? And its setting the exact same codes?

Hello, I have a Ford Fiesta 2013. The car has no reverse, it does not start when is on P, but when shifted to N, it can start. It makes noises that for what it seems to me might be coming from transmission when you are trying to start it, seems like it is trying to shift some gears maybe? I am not sure what the problem is

Hi, those codes and symptoms make me think your bottom clutch fork is sticking.
@@BigBensCarsAndCycles Thank you! So the replacement of the clutch and bearing should fix the issue, right? Dealership wants 3800 for having those replaced
My son has a 2012 Focus with the DPS6. Has code P07A5 along with no 1-2 or 3-4 shift. Skips from 1st to 3rd to 6th with terrible shudder and slipping in between. Car has 160k on it. He bought it for $500 from his aunt, who bought it new, and the clutch has never been replaced. I did have to replace his coolant inlet, as it did the usual and broke, causing a rather large leak onto the bell housing, which I have been told can ruin the clutches. He was told by a trans shop that his only option is a used trans for $4700. I'm a mechanic by trade, but have never delved into the Auto trans world. But since this is nothing more than an auto manual trans, I can do the work. With these symptoms, do you think it would be wiser to go with the used, which I can get used locally for $2300, due to the possibility of synchro and/or fork damage, or does it sound more like installing the Luk rep kit would fix his issues?

my 12 focus is horrible in 1,3,5 it barely shifts into second 2,4,6 & my reverse is fine could that be clutch acuator a ?

Ford dealer told me I need a whole new transmission for a po7a2 code , 151k original miles ....I drilled hole in housing and douched with brake cleaner and still slipping....car still runs in lower gears.
No, for a p07a2 code you probably have a damaged slave cylinder

You can call the dealer and they'll give you the part number for the clutch and forks
The problem I'm still having is it skips over 3rd gear and it skips over fifth gear and it's an automatic

Did you put the shims back on the sensors, and were the wires chafed by the connectors? Can you pull the sensors back out and check for damage? or metal
