Great vids! I am a "new Blazers fan" (aka an Avdija fan). I really wanted them to draft Tyler Smith in the second round (taken a pick earlier). I have only one question - Why wasn't Justin Edwards picked (or maybe I just missed him).

Intersting point about Donovan Clingan. The press in Israel interviewed some candidates before the draft. As a small country with one NBA player, one of the questions was on Deni (yes, they are idiots and unprofessionals). Clingan is the only player, that was very specific and talked about moves he can run with Deni. It's mean, he has learnt every team and thought on ways he can play better there. I don't think there are a lot of players that have ever done that.

The Wizards' management publicly stated that they wanted a second lottery pick, consequently it should come as no surprise that a trade actually occurred on draft night. Simultaneously, though not publicly stated, they must have considered using this trade opportunity to dig into the minutes and shots that would normally belong to the forward position and allocate them to Billal's as well as this year's rookie draft picks future development. As a result, it is not surprising that either Kuz or Deni were the most likely to go. I believe that shortly after management began looking into trade options, it became apparent for various reasons how much the current NBA market values Deni over Kuz, who may not have the true demand as advertised, which is why Deni ended up being the one who was eventually moved.

Deni wanted to stay there. In Israel, sports it's a culture, not a business. Meaning he became a fan. Presti has a lot of assistants. It doesn't mean they are going to be good GMs (Weaver was really bad in Detroit), like working for coach Pop, doesn't mean you are going to be a good coach. To my opinion, they have made a lot of mistakes, and just a little good things. They didn't find a good offer for Kuzma, so they traded Dani because they have a lot of forwards, and they wanted to let Bilal, Sarr and the others more minutes. At least Deni got a new front office that believes in his abilities.

I’m upset as a okc fan why did we ajay Mitchell especially since they going to be in the gleague or two way player.I understand why presti drafted him he fits what presti wants to do but we have enough players who are 6”6 and below shai,cason,Caruso,dort,, Wiggins,Joe,keyontae,jdub, Topic,Dillion and now ajay that’s 11 players. I’m not shock okc drafted the players they did.They fit what okc wants to do but this is getting ridiculous there has to be more to it than just liking said player someone has to be on the move.

I dont understand why the pistons didnt do anything to get johnny furphy, just trade for him, find a way. He was the only player in this draft that really fit the criteria of very young player, needing time to develop (that seems to be the only thing their interested on) that can also help them change their offensive scheme

Yep, on the second round a bit of confusion still but much better. A lot happened haha but there's also a lot of gems. Some of the teams got some steals. And by way, I woke up 4am here in my country to watch the second round so I guess you're not the only one who's sleep deprived 😂

Took the words out of my mouth on Dillon Jones 😆 Not because he won’t be good, although maybe he’s not. But just an odd move from OKC. They have 13 mostly young guys under contract, so unlikely to draft 2 players who could make their rotation anyway. They traded up for a reach. Meanwhile they desperately need size and so far this off-season they’re stockpiling guys for a 6’6” and under league.

i actually think depth wise this will be known as a good draft class and not lackluster. how often do you have a draft where teams aren’t pressured to take BPA and end up taking their fits. it’s going to be filled with role players and players that thrive in their situation

Kelel Ware has a naturally shy introverted personality. Oregon coach should have made his statements in practice not throw Ware under the team buss like he did. Good for IU to get Ware. Guard injuries sunk the Hoosier's boat and the Team never reached their potential. But Ware grew greatly under Woody. He is the biggest steal of the draft, PERIOD!!!! Perfect for Miami adding his athletic size

Honestly, some of this picks got me confused. I'm not an expert or anything like wtf just happened don't get me wrong they are good players but the fit tho and positional need doesn't make sense and yeah some of them are on "potential" situation. Teams that i thought needed some win now talent ended up with projects. But I'm more on the second round a lot of them are diamonds in the rough

I can't believe they sent out one of their best young players for a vet and the 14th in a weak draft. I guess they want to capture the flag next year, but... They are getting a great character guy in Brogdon, who many other teams have coveted in the last 2 years. They could flip him for a future 1st round, but I would have to think the Wiz would have gotten more for Deni.

Ron Holland is such a good pick for me. They got one of the best shooting coaches who was able to fix Herb Jones jump shot and more and I bet he's going to fix his.
