What was the best and worst pick of the night?
T wolves won night one
@@onyxmuseum2782 I would agree with this actually.
Edey was the best and a steal at #9.
Best was Knecht to Lakers worst was Holland to pistons. I agree with that draft pick was a horrible fit lol
@@SuperJay12jay Aye I support the passion for it!
I think Edey will be good for Memphis and interested to see how much Holmes plays for the Nuggets
I think Holmes will be a quick impact honestly.
As a Hornets fan I was initially confused but I really like the pick. Of all the left field options that were on the board that was the best one for me. I love the upside.
Also Lakers got so lucky to get Knecht
Hornets should of drafted Matas Buzelis SF instead.
@@jamelwilliams808 I agree. He was who I was hoping to hear, but I’m not mad with what we got
@@jamelwilliams808 I think that we are fare to have enough information to rank those players. We can roughly know their value.
As an example can you explain why everyone has Matas over Holland when they play in the same team and Holland stats are far above Matas one?
Salaun, is very raw player who show that he can strongly increase his impact along the year in a Pro league.
The only question is when he will be ready to play in NBA ( as a 6 pick, it will be early).
But the GM saw in him that all the material is here with the proof that he can learn in a situation where wining is very important.
Lakers getting DK was so nice.
Kelel Ware has a naturally shy introverted personality. Oregon coach should have made his statements in practice not throw Ware under the team buss like he did. Good for IU to get Ware. Guard injuries sunk the Hoosier's boat and the Team never reached their potential. But Ware grew greatly under Woody. He is the biggest steal of the draft, PERIOD!!!! Perfect for Miami adding his athletic size
Honestly you’ll probably end up being right haha.
Just you wait Isaiah Collier is gonna be good. (Trust me bro)
😂 Okay bro, thank you lol. In all seriousness though I hope so!
Topić isn't guy they need, but man, maybe I'm biased being from Belgrade, offensively SGA wasn't better than Topić is, just trust me, at least OKC got elite backup to SGA, but I would bet Nikola gonna be big big surprise, love your content man
I mean at age 18
Ayyye I appreciate the love! Yeah no honestly he might be great and then you just have a bunch of great PGs haha, not a bad problem!
Great Vid!
Unlike the popular opinion, I love Risacher. I believe he can contribute right away (as a 3&d wing, that can maybe pass a bit this season).
I think in the long run he can develop into a "do-it all wing". I am very high on him.
I don't understand why the Spurs drafted Dillingham just to trade him. Why not draft a player that can actually play for you (I am very high on Topic. I think he could have been a perfect fit next to Wemby).
For Minnesota that was great - Dillingham can start as a "microwave scorer" off the bench. In the long run - he can start and be a great fit next to Ant.
About Houston - what do you think the future looks like for them? I love Amen, I like Reed next to him, Sengun and Jabari are great. Where does Jalen Green git?
No yeah I really like what Risacher, it just wasn’t option 1.
For the Spurs, there just wasn’t anyone else that made sense for them. So they got some future assets. I think it was a perfect night for them.
For Houston, I don’t know honestly. At some point you gotta start winning some games with all these projects. I think the beginning of the year could be rough with the current roster but by midway I think we’ll have a clearer picture. Gotta give coach some time to get things organized, he has a tough job ahead of him.
Do you think Knecht will help the Lakers?
Did ya watch the video? 😅 The whole point of it is to answer those types of questions haha.
I don't know the fact he fell so far is weird. Like you say GMs try to buy themselves time to "develop" projects when things go south. At 23 Knecht is probably not going to change much as a player....
@@johnnykeane9633 I wouldn’t say he won’t change. Guys change a lot once they get to the league regardless. But he’s just a better basketball player than most of the other people in this class so yeah I’m not worried about it at all.
Yes Dalton Knecht is Amazing Great Choice
@@jamelwilliams808 Agreed!
Best pick: Sara to wizards. Worst pick: Dillingham to Wolves
Really? Didn’t like the Dillingham pick huh? I really liked the fit there and I didn’t even love him as a prospect like that.
Terrible reviews
OBJECTION - Rude
Please rephrase to make the comment actual feedback.
Everyone who didn't pick Ðurišić: F Simple as. Kings should have got him instead of carter at the very least..
Boooold to throw Carter under the bus there haha. I know you are huge on him though lol.
reed sheppard a C?????
Is there a question 😅?
Took the words out of my mouth on Dillon Jones 😆 Not because he won’t be good, although maybe he’s not. But just an odd move from OKC.
They have 13 mostly young guys under contract, so unlikely to draft 2 players who could make their rotation anyway. They traded up for a reach. Meanwhile they desperately need size and so far this off-season they’re stockpiling guys for a 6’6” and under league.
He a very puzzling move to say the least!
Intersting point about Donovan Clingan. The press in Israel interviewed some candidates before the draft. As a small country with one NBA player, one of the questions was on Deni (yes, they are idiots and unprofessionals). Clingan is the only player, that was very specific and talked about moves he can run with Deni. It's mean, he has learnt every team and thought on ways he can play better there. I don't think there are a lot of players that have ever done that.
They raise em right at UConn haha there is a reason they win so much.
Minnesota and Denver are the real winners, I whoul say and Wizards, but trading Deni, I mean wtf, lakers and Boston did good,
I would agree with you!
Biggest winners for me are the Lakers getting Knecht, Celtics getting Schierman, and Wolves getting both Dillingham and Terrance Shannon
Retweet this one, add Denver in there as well then.
You're a random who doesn't know ball so your take is BS
@@Mdksupreme1 Aye now angry internet person 😅. Let’s keep it collaborative in the comments or I’ll have to hide ya. Trying to be better than the rest of the internet here.
I agree with these grades.
Damn every one? Well I guess we are in agreement then haha.
Jazz had a good draft 😁
They had a nice night!
Sorry but My Knicks failed the draft! We didn't draft Isaiah Collier or Ryan Dunn. Yes we got Dillon Jones who reminds me of Dame Lillard yet for Knicks to draft 2 France players who nobody ever heard about is Krazy business. Could of done better respectful.
Okc got Dillion jones they traded him for 5 2nd round picks
Ryan Dunn barely scored against college competition. Knicks don’t need the next Lance Thomas.
You didn’t draft Dillon Jones…
Sorry..I stand corrected..
Wish we got Center Flipowski in the 2nd round..0-3??
Honestly, some of this picks got me confused. I'm not an expert or anything like wtf just happened
don't get me wrong they are good players but the fit tho and positional need doesn't make sense and yeah some of them are on "potential" situation. Teams that i thought needed some win now talent ended up with projects. But I'm more on the second round a lot of them are diamonds in the rough
This is a weird draft all around so I can understand the feeling of confusion from a lot of the picks. I don’t think many teams feel like excellent with their selection. My grades are very much based off of “Okay what could they reasonably accomplish with this?”
@@_AVC_ I understand the grading and hopefully a lot of them pan out. 'cause I wasn't really excited with the draft class this year.
@@japooy I can tell you from a guy that was on the inside… neither were we 😂
@@_AVC_ daaang haha
It's like finding a needle in the sand or something.
Oh well.. a prospect is better than nothing, I guess 🤷
@@japooy Oh for sure haha, someone will come out of all of this. They always do!
Wizards won the draft! Sarr, Carrington, George 😮
Troy Weaver also had 3 first round picks his first year in Detroit. lol
Yeah it was a solid haul! Not sure it was worth giving up Deni for Bub but aye after the trade they did good things!
@@_AVC_ probably should've gotten rid of kuzma instead.
@@revmichael4 I would tend to agree.
Dang it. I thought Portland got Bub
Ron Holland is such a good pick for me. They got one of the best shooting coaches who was able to fix Herb Jones jump shot and more and I bet he's going to fix his.
Aye I hope you’re right!
D stands for Demon Edey
Haha I’m here for it 😂
i actually think depth wise this will be known as a good draft class and not lackluster. how often do you have a draft where teams aren’t pressured to take BPA and end up taking their fits. it’s going to be filled with role players and players that thrive in their situation
That is a solid point, could totally see it!
I think Detroit drafted Holland because Charlotte was rumored to be drafting him
Why does that mean Detroit would take him?
Am I crazy for thinking wizards shouldve drafted Clingan instead?
No. I think it was at least a conversation.
Bucks went Johnson cause alot of our guards are old and on their way out and we don't have any firsts until 2031 so we had to go guard I just don't like who we went with
Yeah I feel like there were options if you wanted to go guard that could also help right now. Odd selection to say the least.
We'd better take filipowski if we get the chance
@@_AVC_ Yeah I feel like if we want to salvage this draft we need to stick at 33 and go with one of Furphy,Filipowski or Kolek
@@coltonstelloh2831 That would be a nice value pick! Furphy is still there as well.
@@_AVC_ Furphy is my dream rn cause while I dont watch Duke I heard Filipowski isn't a great defender although working with Lopez for a year could help
