This time we install an AELLA lowering link on the 2023 Ducati Panigale V4. Aella advertises this lowering link to drop a Panigale V4 seat height approximately 20mm. That Kelpi sounds good. Curious about the exhaust fumes - not well sealed? Not a fan of popping on deceleration, but to each their own. I've seen some tuners make it an option on the ECU re-flash, so maybe that was an option from VCYCLENUT? Clip-ons look good.

    Im a big Ducati fan and looking for a first bike. I live in the Netherlands so the rules are a bit different here. Do you think the Ducati supersport is a good beginner bike? • @ridewithKY

      Thank you for the compliment! Supersport would be fine. It's a Ducati and they are pretty fast. Of course they are overshadowed by the Panigale series, however, if you want something a little more comfortable and not as aggressive then the Supersport is a good option. It's light enough to where it won't be a big deal performing low speed maneuvers for a beginner. As with any motorcycle; be responsible and don't do dumb stuff. If you refrain from making poor decisions, you will be fine.

    I'm looking for the quietest full exhaust with VCYCLENUT tune. IS your choice it? Or did you find other systems that are a bit quieter in your research? It is very difficult to get dB numbers on various exhausts with a tune. I'm just looking for slightly more volume with the drivability of his tunes.

    • @ridewithKY
      @ridewithKY 2 дні тому

      The Kelpi is a lot louder than stock. It does come with a DB killer, so you could use that to reduce some of the sound, however, DB killers are generally pretty restrictive. Overall if your concern is volume and you don't want it too loud then I would look elsewhere for an exhaust. Maybe if Akra has something? Akra's are generally pretty quiet.

    Well that settles it guys. A ninja h2 is a beginner bike according to this guy. It's a 1000 cc and can be ridden at normal speeds. By this clowns logic, it's perfectly safe for any new rider to ride on.

    • @ridewithKY
      @ridewithKY 3 дні тому

      Funny you leave a comment, I respond refuting all of your points, and then instead of responding to my response, you start a whole new comment chain to separate yourself from your original comments. In your prior comments you've indicated an XSR900 is functionally no different than an S1000RR for a beginner; while in the same breath suggesting an XSR700 is a great "beginner bike". The reality is an XSR700 is a lot closer to an XSR900 than an XSR900 is to an S1000RR. So even your own example proves your prior statements incorrect. You can ride an H2 as a beginner as long as you physically can manipulate that bike. H2's are heavy. The power level has nothing to do with it. You want to place blame on an inanimate object, instead of placing responsibility on the rider. Don't take it from me, read the rest of the comments here... It's funny that I'm a clown yet you refuse to respond to any of my refutation of your asinine comments.

    Opinion on Akrapovic for this bike? I know SC Project is this way to go but curious on that one. Does it spit flame as well?

    • @ridewithKY
      @ridewithKY 4 дні тому

      Akra makes nice exhaust systems for sure. The Akra for these bikes is pretty quiet and is very large. If you want a quieter exhaust and don’t mind the size, then the Akra is a good choice. The flame will depend on the tune more than the exhaust itself.

    • @tkdman2011
      @tkdman2011 4 дні тому

      If you’re trying to tune and get gains like more horsepower then do you recommend a full exhaust or just a slip on for this bike?

    • @ridewithKY
      @ridewithKY 3 дні тому

      A full exhaust will get you a little more power but the stock headers flow pretty well. If you changed the headers, it’d be more for the weight loss aspect of it. But if you absolutely want to maximize performance then it’s required to go full exhaust. I personally don’t feel it’s worth it but my budget is not as large as some peoples.

    I couldn't disagree with you more. The reason half the fatalities are above 1000cc is because there is more of them on the road. if you are a new rider, please for the love of God don't listen to this video. He has no idea what he's talking about. The xsr900 is extremely powerful for a beginner. I've owned 15 bikes including liter bikes. This bike is every bit as dangerous as a s1000rr to a new rider. Just get a xsr700 and learn how to ride. This guy is gonna get someone killed.

    • @ridewithKY
      @ridewithKY 5 днів тому

      That's not why. There is no correlation between the displacement being over 1000cc's and being more likely to cause a fatality, it's just what the data says. So if you are on an XSR700, you are somehow immune to stupidity? But on an XSR900 suddenly that stupidity becomes a reality? It's simple, don't do dumb stuff on any bike and you will be fine, regardless of displacement. If you don't trust yourself on certain types of bikes, you probably shouldn't be riding in the first place. The issue highlighted here is not just present in the motorcycle community, but other communities as well. Instead of looking inward, we place blame on an inanimate object. Your last comment says it all: “this guy is gonna get someone killed”. In that statement you’ve removed all responsibility from the rider. If you are doing dumb stuff on your bike and you hurt yourself; YOU are responsible for that, not anyone else.

      @@ridewithKY some new rider is gonna use this video to justify something like an xsr900. They're gonna run in too hot in a corner and head on a truck. It's too much. What an responsible video. Not all new riders are responsible. You should never start on a 117bhp sport bike. Absolutely insane.

      So you can't run too hot into a corner on an XSR700? Stop blaming an inanimate object for human flaws. "You obviously have never ridden a beginner bike." Doesn't surprise me you have made an assumption like this when taking into account your past statements. I've put plenty of miles on a 400 (check some of my older videos) and at least in the USA, it definitely doesn't have plenty of passing power. Flow of traffic in the USA and especially California is 80-90 mph. You aren't easily passing anyone at those speeds on a 400.

    What are your thoughts on carbon fiber wheels vs forged wheels if money isn’t an issue and you’re just using the bike for your daily street riding?

    • @ridewithKY
      @ridewithKY 5 днів тому

      I think it depends on the condition of your roads. In California we pay a lot of taxes but get VERY little in return, so our roads are awful. That being said, I would be concerned about CF wheel durability for a street motorcycle. No denying they are much lighter and they absolutely look fantastic, but I would not want to have to worry about cracks. To be fair, a forged aluminum wheel is not indestructible and can also bend/crack, but I am less concerned as opposed to carbon.

    • @ridewithKY
      @ridewithKY 10 днів тому

      The dealer showed the parts available for order but had no ETA on arrival. So effectively they weren’t available. Even when the Italians give you an ETA, you can expect to wait quite a while regardless of the ETA. If no ETA is given, then you aren’t getting the part. 😂.

    Random question. What is the advantage of having a garage floor lake yours versus just doing a sealed garage floor?

    • @ridewithKY
      @ridewithKY 11 днів тому

      I would say the epoxy floors look better, if done right. The issue with epoxy is you can damage it pretty easily if you actually work on stuff in your garage. If you just park cars/bikes in your garage, then the finish will hold up well. If you are sliding jacks around and dropping tools on the deck, then it’s going to get damaged. These plastic floors are more durable and if you were to damage it, such as melting it or spilling a chemical on it, then it’s easy to replace just that section. Take care.
