So I’m planning on getting a beardie soon and I am going to stack his enclosure on below my ball pythons enclosure. What wattage and percentage bulbs would you recommend since I have to install everything inside the enclosure? I won’t have room to put the lighting on top of the mesh lid since I’ll have 2 tanks stacked with only an inch separating them. We live in California so the temp inside our home remains around 70°-75°. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you so much.

We flew from the West Coast to Nova Scotia specially to tour the grounds and to have our 11 year old granddaughter meet Hope. She wants to be a vet; loves all animals. And we met Hope. A beautiful lady inside and out. Truly a kind soul. Our granddaughter asked Hope if, once she’s old enough could she volunteer. Hope was amazingly gracious and attentive with her. We left a behind a rather large donation so Hope can continue her valuable work.

i agree..i pick up trash almost daily .thrown out..st. side of road ..fields so sad some dont respect the enviroment. n i gather from nature also

Apparently, I’ve had this turtle for six years without knowing it’s endangered. I just was outside one day and I saw it on the floor and decided to keep it as a pet. I had no idea it was endangered. How do I tell if it’s a male or female cause we live in Libya and can definitely care for more

Thanks for this video. I know it was posted 3 years ago but it helps to know what to expect. I’m having to come to this decision with my 7 year old leo. She has been under vet care but it’s not fair for her. Tbh, my jaw dropped when I saw how they injected your gecko. I was not expecting that. I’m so glad I found your video to prepare for this ❤

I think it's obvious that un-reptile people had no idea until people who actually are reptile people pointed it out. I'm giving Vans the benefit of the doubt that they didn't know. People are generally stupid with their heads in their phones....so just maybe. The people who provided the snake though are definitely responsible!!!!

Okay, I'm willing to grant that ignorance can lead to inability to recognize illness in a creature. However, No human in their right mind should have difficulty understanding that ANY Animal, no matter the species, should not have every single rib bone standing out in sharp relief. IF that snake is still alive it is going to have a very long road to recovery from such a state of anorexia.

Never liked that brand anyway. You'd think a multimillion dollar brand could at least do a 5min google search on what's a healthy looking snake.

My leopard gecko, Hammy, wasn’t born healthy. He’s over three years old and he’s only like, five inches… He keeps running into countless different health complications like trouble shedding, systemic abscesses, sensitive skin, etc. We’re gonna give it one last shot but if this continues we’re gonna have to put him down. This video gives me a good idea on what’s in store if we do indeed have to put him down, so thank you for this video. <3

Bioactive is the way to go with these guys. Plants really help with air quality and humidity. Piece lily's really like water, they like it moist. I really like pothos and philodendron because they are super hardy and grow fast allowing you to spread natural vines through the enclosure. They will also send roots down from the canopy creating even more small vines.

Great video, your info is spot on. I have mine in a 24x18x36 and they rarely comes down from the top 12" so I wish I would have used a 36x18x24 at minimum but your recommendation of 36x18x36 is spot on, that really is a great size for these gems. Although they are arboreal they seem to utilize the horizontal space more than the vertical space so prioritizing horizontal space seems best. For example, I think 48 long and 24 tall would be even better than a 36 wide 36 tall.
