@@RedsFaunaverse I should be Thanking You 🖤You have taught me so much about my past animals and present one . Your lisp is freaking adorable and I love it ☺️
I didn’t know they lived with nepenthes in the wild I was going to some to a future enclosure for them because it looked nice but now I know it could actually be beneficial
Since vampire crabs are omnivores, and the babies tend to love to eat springtails, and occasionally Isa pods although they can actually eat the crab right after it molts, I somewhat question putting in carnivorous plants because they are going to eat what the crabs will eat
The crabs have a natural symbiotic relationship with pitcher plants in the wild and will use to cups as shelter or even eat what the pitchers have captured.
Do you think they could mix with emerald tree skinks? Or would they risk attacking emeralds? I have a massive tank, and a lot of empty floor space. I was thinking of setting up a small fish setup in the tank, but always was curious of crabs.
@@RedsFaunaverse Ohhhh I did not know the skinks would get them. That be a interesting extra food source for them. Probably not so pretty of a crab though. Will have to plot a different tank for them!
Omg I love that word, crabitat!!! Using that from now on. I wish I knew exactly what moss was in here but my friend set up the tank years ago and then gave it to me so not too sure what kinda moss she used. I’ll ask tho!

Neither did I! I had to look it up and apparently they do!

The skinks would for sure just eat these guys up like snacks haha.

I love Geosesarma sp.! What are you using as groundcover in the new crabitat? Edit: Is it a sheet moss?

Will you breed them
Hopefully they’ll breed for me!
