    Stunning enclosure! Great job incorporating the water feature!
    Can't wait for your channel to randomly hit that algorithm just right and explode, you've got the quality to make it happen.

      Awe thank you so much! It sucks cause I don’t help the algorithm either by taking my breaks here and there but hopefully one day!

    I would love to know what their call sounds like and how loud it is. I've thought about getting them, but I don't have a devoted space just for my animals, so I generally have to stick to quieter species of frogs.

    • @RedsFaunaverse
      @RedsFaunaverse  2 роки тому +1

      Watch my “Meet My 25+ Pets” video, I put a snippet of their call in there at 24:40! Sounds like a super loud chihuahua 🤣

    • @ProfJCsCritters
      @ProfJCsCritters 2 роки тому +1

      @@RedsFaunaverse Thanks for referring me to that. What a great sound. (Unfortunately, a little louder than I can probably manage.)

      @@ProfJCsCritters haha yes, this is not a frog one would want In their bedroom, I can hear them down the hall with the door closed.

      @@RedsFaunaverse That's good to know. It can be surprisingly hard to find samples of frog calls when you're thinking about getting a new pet. If you ever get a borneo eared frog, I'd love to hear that call, and I didn't have much luck the last time I poked around online. :)

    Aren't you supposed to use gloves when handling frogs? Also you look awesome and so do the frogs!!!

    • @RedsFaunaverse
      @RedsFaunaverse  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you so much! I always encourage people to use gloves but having clean hands dipped in RO water is also fine for short period of time. This was my first time touching them in months since I don’t like to handle my frogs for those reasons.

    All reptiles / amphibians in captivity need uvb have you heard of metabolic bone disease do you want your animals living in pain ? If not provide uvb

    • @RedsFaunaverse
      @RedsFaunaverse  11 місяців тому +2

      Not every reptile needs UVB to avoid MBD but can still benefit from having UVB. Some reptiles need it way more than others but nocturnal reptiles can still live healthy MBD free lives without it. I always encourage UVB light as it can still benefit a nocturnal animal but if you have a proper vitamin routine you can avoid these issues despite not having UVB. If you’re reptile has MBD please consult a vet and look into your vitamin routine if you have one. But 90% of my reptiles have UVB light including the frogs in this video. Thank you for your stern comment :)
