My asset browser is not working, Im using Blender 4.0

I am not able to scatter even if I follow the directions in the video.

Thanks for making these great libraries available for free. Unfortunately they don't work on Blender 4.1. But I found a solution. You can also install the plug-in in Blender 4.0 and specify the same library save folder in the settings as in Blender 4.1. If you create your scene in 4.0, when you open it in Blender, everything will be visible!

Blender 4.1 here. Video heavily outdated. Scattering doesn't do anything just adds one instance of the selected object to the scene. Settings don't seem to do anything.

Uhm! This looks awesome! But for some reason I downloaded the last version and using Blender 4.0, and it seems to work but I don't see the plus and minus button to add a scatter system of other geometries that are not plant assets or are just external objects as in minute 3:16 with that cube. Is that something that has been removed or am I missing anything?

blender 4.1 is giving 0 instances no matter what.

If you're here because you want to scatter your own objects using Gscatter and the "Scatter Selected" option is greyed out, make sure to uncheck the blue cursor next to "Emitter" at the top. Select your desired emitter in the field, then click on your desired object. You can now scatter that object on your selected emitter.

No respect for consumers at all. I'm not from a rich country and I still purchased Grasswald Pro add-on from Blender Market a year or 2 ago. And now it doesn't work with Blender 4.0.1 It was easy to use back then, now you ruined it. Shame on you

not working or outdated video

I am a bit confused about the whole Graswald and GScatter thing. I know that the Graswald addon no longer works in Blender 4.0. I have all of the Vol. 1 blender assets downloaded. But I do not know how to use them with GScatter as assets. Can you please tell me how to use my old assets with GScatter?

I downloaded the Graswald Pro assets vol.1 for Blender Cycles from my downloads page on Blender Market. Do I need to mark each Blend file as an asset? Or how do I get these old assets into GScatter?

Just discovered G scatter (as Biome Reader dont want to work with my install of Blender 4) and I love it, its much better in my opinion. But now I want a path going in between the grass and stuff. This is perfect. Thank you

why is it so when i save the preset it says preset saved but it doesnt show in the preset tab

I bought Graswald Pro some time ago and liked ist. I must admit that I am not happy to not be able to use it in Blender 3.** and have to figure how gscatter works. :-/

These are great tutorials. As I watch them, I can't help but compare the voiceover to Sir Richard Attenboro voicing one of his nature documentaries! LOL

so sick of half assed tutorials... Idk if im doing something wrong or what but I cannot seem to import any assets and you completely leave that part out.

Hi I haven't found a way yet to create the proxies before scatter an high detailed asset in a huge scene. This means that if you have a huge scene where you want to scatter something, before you have to scatter for the first time your asset, and only after you have the chance to switch to proxies mode. Is there any way to set proxy before scatter a new assets in order to view directly the low poly element instead of doing that afterwards? My pc crashes before having the chance to switch to proxy, even if it is a powerful workstation. thank you 🙏

Camera culling is amazing! I wish I knew about this sooner!

You should also mention the wonder feature of being able to setup proxies by default in the addon options. It's a life saver for very large environments and your cpu!

Mine is not even showing the Gscatter.
