is it possible to create and use own assets for the Gscatter ?
I am a bit confused about the whole Graswald and GScatter thing. I know that the Graswald addon no longer works in Blender 4.0. I have all of the Vol. 1 blender assets downloaded. But I do not know how to use them with GScatter as assets. Can you please tell me how to use my old assets with GScatter?
Is Graswald compatible with Scatter 5.3?
Little question, I have multiple objects with each having a different material, I tried Having them all as seperate Species but it really starts to cluster up. can i have multiple different material names, that are very similar (Quixel_Branch-[01 - 11]_High_Cycles) in one Species? I havent played around with it too much yet, as i remember back in the older versions you had to do some Vertex Color masking and all of that. so is there a newer way to do that? maybe some documentation?
Are you planning on adding segment options? Im making a larger shot right now and my system doesnt seem to be able to keep up anymore. It would be nice if there was something like the adaptive subdivision feature or at least some kind of way to add less segments : D great addon looks amazing! This is probably on of the few addons where a few clicks make your scene 50% better
Hey there, thanks for the nice words! Planning something like LODs is on our wishlist, right now we're working on more low-poly plants for larger scenes. But having automatic segments might be a good idea as well!

@@Graswald And idea that just came to my head, which you guys definitely already considered. But an *awesome* option would be the "Image Plane" option. As im working on a bigger scene I have to render my grass/flowers as image planes and then clone them. I think this feature would be amazing, to use the same particle system as it is now and the same integrated species/variants but only import them as image planes. This would be a big + for big scenes. : D
@@SimonEberl I personally like this idea too! I usually have huge landscapes that im working on, and having something like a Proxy object that is there instead of the full object in viewport would be awesome!

is it possible to buy Graswald first and upgrade at a later point to Graswald Pro by paying the money difference? I can't find any info on this on your website
I did that. If you send an e-mail to their support, they will send you a bill for the difference after you show your product key. At least that's how it worked for me. I would assume they would still do the same.
I bought graswald and I'm trying to add it on into blender 2.82 but there is no zip folder in my downloads.... how am I supposed to use the add on?
Wherever you bought it, there should be a zipped folder to download. Then you go into user preferences and install from file
kareemalgalaly I bought it from blender market, it downloaded, I unzipped it into a new folder. There is no zip file anywhere. There wasn’t a zip file before I unzipped it either lol. Am I out $70?
@@mrfeathers3938 You may have unzipped the .zip file into the new folder... Can you show us a screenshot of the zip? Don't unzip anything you got from the Blender Market, just use the zip that you got.

My only advice is for you guys to teach us large landscapes. There’s no adaptive setting or selecting parts of a particle system to be low poly. Other than that a very amazing software you’ve created

Hi I own grasswald, I bought it a week or so ago, I need to use it with 2.82 since I need access to UDIM features. Wil Grasswald work for me in that version? If not, could you please consider releasing a version for 2.82? Thanks for great package 🙏

it seems their company is completely ignoring me because I've asked them multiple times about what's happening and they're not responding to anything. I bought it but there's no zip file? How to I use it as an add on
@@mrfeathers3938 sorry I never saw your comment. For what it's worth, BA is the quickest way to get ahold of us. As for your question, thete should be a zip in the download page, I'm not sure what you're seeing.
