Hello so I need help, I downloaded the free version of grasswald and I am having some issues, I use blender 2.79 and when I do install it shows up in preference but It doesn't allow me to activate it, and it shows an error if anyone knows how to fix this please reply to this comment

(to be used in Houdini for example,) would that be an option ? I know much of the plant variation comes from materials, but maybe you could sell a super pack of all species and bake some variations to texture, say like 5-10 material variations per plant specie, and its corresponding maps for diffuse/glossy/so on. You know, it is hard to find good plant models to buy on the internet (besides megascans), and yours are trully amazing!

That depends, of course, on the render engine you are using. As Graswald uses Blender's render engine cycles, it would need to convert all the cycles materials to your preferred engine. As we haven't done any tests about that, I'm afraid I cannot tell you wether this is possible or not.
Those are just the models and textures. You would have to create the materials in your desired render engine yourself, but they will be usable!@@Persepolis8564

How come i see repeats in the same grass blade all very close together and obvious on specific parts of my emitter mesh?

Just make sure the seed, size and density values of both particle systems are the same.
What type of assets does graswald includes. As far as I have seen, it includes leaves, weeds, grass (of course) but also moss?
Jap, also moss ;) There are 4 species of moss in total, with different particle systems (a total of 9).

No, you have to append them by going to file-> append and then select the blend file and the particle system.
