I worked at the UN HQ during their renovation.They gutted the entire place. Many a good pic of Tugs and Barges going up and down the East River. That island is used as a Chanel Marker. surprised you were allowed to camp there. Good fishing spot.

I've seen people camp on that island on YT before, seems it's pretty high on YT'ers bucket list.
