If you like this 1908 DL&W viaduct, go see the immense 1915 Tunkhannock Creek Viaduct (also known as the Nicholson Bridge and the Tunkhannock Viaduct) 70 miles away. It is a concrete deck arch bridge on the Nicholson Cutoff rail line segment of the DL&W and spans Tunkhannock Creek in Nicholson, Pennsylvania. Measuring 2,375 feet (724 m) long and towering 240 feet (73.15 m) when measured from the creek bed (300 feet (91.44 m) from bedrock), it was the largest concrete structure in the world when completed in 1915 and still merited "the title of largest concrete bridge in America, if not the world" 50 years later.

That bridge is known to locals as "Alice". It was given that name because of the manholes and tunnels. The manholes were compared to the rabbit hole in Alice in Wonderland
We used to ride that bridge with quads and dirtbikes as kids in the early 2000’s. Utah and Montana are by far my favorite places to camp and hike! Glacier national park to be more specific. Belton bridge is my favorite swimming and hang out spots in west glacier by far
Explored Glacier when I was into hiking, but not yet an avid camper. I imagine there are so many opportunities for camping there! Belton Bridge looks very scenic, can already see the rock formations popping out of the water from satellite view 😍 I will have to check it out as I will probably be driving through Montana on my way back west. Thanks for the tips!
1:00 I commend you for identifying and labeling (including Latin/scientific name) some neat incidental organism you featured. Lots of videos like this have random shots of lively flora and fauna and make no attempt to educate on what they are showing.
So glad you appreciate it. Hard for me to see something cool like that and not try and research it! Then of course I wanna share it with the audience 😉 Thanks for watching
What a awesome idea for a video!! Glad I found you at the beginning of your journey!
Thanks Max, hope you enjoy the adventures to come!! 🏕️

@@WesWherever only thing I think you done wrong was not make the video a little longer 😂😎
Hi Wes! Cool video! Welcome to eastern U.S.! 😀 I can't wait to see your upcoming videos! Stay safe!🙏♥️
Thank you Suzanne, glad to be here! Thanks for your continued support, glad you are enjoying the adventures 😊 Can't wait to share everything to come!!
Just crossed the highway today while this bridge was overhead. I was going back to my uncle's house from an apple orchard line dance. What an interesting life we live!
Maybe you'll look at this bridge a little differently now after seeing its potential! 😂
So you say you want to be stealthy and not fish with a rod, yet you have a bright ass light on at night on a completely abandoned bridge with no lights.
First time here, right on.
I used to stealth-camp all the time back when I was Homeless. Yeah- would be a hecka good place for an overnight post, but no snark- I'd take a lot of water, because it looks like its windy af. 🎉
Thanks for watching bro!!
you find great spots
Thank you Share, glad you're appreciating the different camp spots! 🏕️
That was adventurous. You are surely a deep explorer 😃
Thanks bro, glad you enjoyed!!
Grandparents: Wes, will you house sit for us?
Wes: Sure!
Also Wes (after stocking up on free walnut kiffles): 0:00

Lots of folks have an interest in this kind of place. These places are not invisible.😊
i painted all the faces around the doorways 😅 theres about 12-15 different chambers you can go down. i love that place. ❤
Man , i got freaked out when i saw the sub. count of your channel.
You content is top notch , you should atleast have 1 mil. subs. , i enjoyed your video..

New sub!!
Welcome aboard!! Hope you enjoy the adventures 🏕️
Another cool place you can check out while in pa is called 1000 steps. Theres an old abandoned garage or train station right at the top to the side. Very cool spot. Somewhere i thought of camping at.
That looks so cool, thanks for the tip!!
The B-52:☠️ your cooked
You should go there while it rains ,rain is the best
True, that would be a really fun time to stay cozy in the bridge 🌧️
Bro casually spotted a b-29 💀😭
Great content mate! Keep up the good work. Best wishes from Australia
Thanks, Corey!! 👋💙🇦🇺
How funny would it be to be rafting down the river approaching the viaduct, and you see a fish just rise up out of the water and ascend towards the sky...
Hahahaha maybe I gotta go back and prank someone like that 🐟🪽
So cool!!! The ladders made me nervous AF lol I dig all the camera shots man 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Delaware water gap viaduct every kid in my town comes here to hangout and graffiti
Yeah that would be cool to live near it, you would catch me hanging out there a lot
I’ve often wanted to stop and check that bridge out. Thanks
Thanks for watching, Jay! Definitely check it out if you get the chance... I would recommend entering from the PA side
Paulinskill Viaduct???
Same railroad, but just a couple miles west on the Delaware. Been wanting to check out the Paulinskill too tho!
Yo! Thats an amazing content! Dont like the scary sounds you are putting in sometimes though xD
And yeah sleeping on hard surfaces sometimes is benefitial, but the cold from the concrete can get into your tissue/bones very fast, and the results of it are quite nasty.
Happy I've discovered your channel! Cheers from Ukraine!
Thanks Andrew, yeah I had a bit of fun with the scary ambient noises this video 😂 Definitely wouldn't sleep on concrete again, but thankful it worked out this time! Hello Ukraine!! 🇺🇦💙
Is nobody gonna address the B-29 casually flying overhead and how he just didn’t seem to care?
If you know you know! I don't just record any random plane, there's a reason I put it in the video 😉
