I adore how realistic this is. I feel like most videos of going though earnings on here are like 10-20k a month income and it just seems so out of reach. It's really nice to see someone celebrating earning a normal income from this. Obviously rooting for you to keep growing your financial success on here, but hearing about this level of income from online and creative pursuits is so much more encouraging then people talking about the mega bucks they are making.

Here your 💼 coz I watch to the end. I feel you. I used to write for client as a freelancer alongside growing my blog. After sometime I realize my creative juice is suck to writing for client rather than ny blog. This January the job stop and I feel so liberated writing only for my blog. I made significant grow this past 2 weeks for my blog and I really hope that I'll get to ads agency soon so I don't need to get full time job. We got this! 🎉

I always miss the lives. I’m revising my story but I have adhd most days so I keyword read it to me so that I can pay attention haha 😅. I also want my stories to become movies or shows. I would like to be a prison them because black stories don’t get enough care or thought with sci-fi and fantasy.

Girl, so I used to work in journalism which isn't entirely creative but very writing heavy and I thought it was draining all my writing/creative energy at the time. BUT I have never written so much in my life (working on my novel) than I had at that time. That was just me personally, but just wanted to throw in my two cents that jobs related to your craft might actually be helping more than harming! Love seeing your channel grow!

💼 Writing around a full time job is rough. I couldn’t imagine trying to do content creation around it to. It sounds like you've got a good plan. Have you ever thought about a night shift job? Some of them can be chill enough that you can write while you are at work.

Hi girl thanks so much for sharing !! I just wanted to share a thought, as I’m not sure your time spending energy on your own business may come up during interviews it may be better not to mention your 9-5 being temporary. Just because if they watch this then they may feel the need to let you go. But of course that all depends on if you mention your channel and if it’s the type of job that looks for long term employees.

Being self-employed is a commitment in itself. I understand wanting to have a part-time job along with it, though. I’ve been applying to adjunct teaching jobs and other opportunities. So far, nothing has come up, so I’ve been more focused on my sensitivity reading (yay, self employment) and the online classes I’ll be teaching in the Spring. I also have another freelance/part-time job I can kind of set my own hours with (although it’s temporary). LOVE your video editing style, especially in the beginning! My favorite place to go is a lake near my house and there are ducks there, too! 😍

I am currently working on my 2025 vision board and taking notes on incorporating myself / not just copy pasting images that aren't ever gonna be me haha so I appreciate your take on that too!

I know how you feel about jobs. I am feeling the same way. I like my current job because i work 6:30am- 10:30am and it allows me the flexibility to do what I want to do through out the day. In this economy i know im going to need to have a second job just to survive and I dont want to give up my free time. I am currently in an dilemma💼🧳👜

I struggle to refer to myself as a 'creative' despite writing 360+K words in 3 novels last year 😄 but my FT job is analytical, focused on long term planning, and it is SUCH a relief to know that any creative effort is 100% for myself. Nobody else gets that energy from me.

💼 I love that you are going after what you want! I am currently in the same boat of making writing my full-time job, and job hunting is not even on the agenda. I feel guilty but grateful to be privileged to be in this period as I try to make it work before I need a job again.

The production value of your vlogs is so good it's starting to scare me. Regarding the difference between being jobless for months and being jobless for years: I typed out some thoughts but they were wild as hell, so I will instead hold my tongue. A Cruz by any other username would sound as sassy. Wherefore art thou online? Instagram? Whatever you consider of equal maintenance to Instagram, I can't fault you for the new plan, but anywhere else I'll point out "brielle writes" has a valuable ring to it.
