I love my zj! I have a 1997 5.2. 6 1/2 inch short arm on 33’s I wanna turn into an overland rig. Long story short sold it an bought it back after guy blew the motor up. So probably needs a motor. If you wanna see it it’s way back in my older videos but gonna start my other UA-cam channel about my zj. Love yalls videos and knowledge. And I’m on the gulf coast of Mississippi

Voss i got fooled last week i got a alert and i looked and by the title i thought it was yall and i clicked on it and got to watching and i thought my buddy Voss has got a bunch of new folks to go with but i wasnt never seeing you and i was scratching my head and i couldn't figure it out and i looked at the title again and it says 4WD ADVENTURE without the CREW and i didnt subscribe so they just showed up but i took care of it not my type of characters. I hope yalls new home place is doing good and your family buddy! The Auxbeam pro series bars are great lights I would say one of the best bang for your buck but You gotta do your own water proofing. Take them apart use RTV high heat silicone sealant. It even comes in black put back together and you’re good. I would say for what you get for the money it’s worth the Self waterproofing. Don’t get me wrong I love my rigid pods and yes, there’s some brighter lights bars out there, but You’re also gonna pay a lot of money Which for myself feels like diminished returns and these pro series are super bright more than I could need when I’m trailing.

How did the taco do at that tight corner you had to do all the winching on the way out? I saw the other video where you guys were going in and you had to hook up a snatch block to a tree to pull him sideways.

The best lights I did on my f250 Bullnose were those same headlights you have on the green jeep, the Auxbeam. those things are night and day over stock headlights!

Love that area. Lots of mining history there. I knew the author of the Roar of the Monitors, Jann Garvis, she had a house in La Porte and was a local historian of that area. She spent her childhood there. I’ve been halfway from Howland Flat to Poker Flat but never got all the way down to Poker Flat. Beautiful area.

I love that kind of weather and location. A vehicle question. Do you have any thoughts on which would be better in snowy weather like that, an suv like a 2025 GMC Yukon AT4 Ultimate or Ford Expedition Tremor, or a full size pick up like a Ford F150 Raptor (35 or 37 package) or Tremor or Platinum with the FX4 package, assuming good tires on all? I'm leaning F150 Tremor if I go pickup, though the Platinum would allow the Powerboost engine so tempting too. If I go the Tremor or Platinum I'd likely do an after market 2.5" - 3.5" level/lift, do any suspension upgrades that might be recommended as a result, and up the tire size to 35's, adding a bit of poke. I'm wondering if the suv might be better because of its center weight distribution further back versus the pickup which is lighter in the rear, though today's larger supercabs do shift the pickups center of weight a bit further back than otherwise. I also don't know if I can find a true dedicated snow tire in a 35" diameter tire, and as good as the triple peak winter rated all terrains can be, a true dedicated snow tire will be better. I'm also thinking a thinner tires if I can find one, say 9" or 10", at most 11", but not 12" or 13" would be better b/c more lbs per square inch on the ground for traction. Any thoughts or suggestions about any of the above? Thanks.

He can make it. Good to see the dad and son enjoying the same things. I did the Rubicon back in 85 in a stock 43 flat fender. Dana 25 in the front and a Dana 30 in the rear, both open diffs with 31 10-50’s. He did great. Now your only only 30 minutes from Fordyce Creek trail.
