I have been worried bout you and your family cause this is the first video in a while and i know yall have had earth quacks storms and something ive never heard of something called a cyclone bomb snow storm and then not hearing from yall in a while i was realy worried. So what a relieve and a Blessing to see yall are ok buddy! Its good to see my buddy in the Ram still with you i know he was realy having a tough time when he first started going with you and i was afraid he might get discouraged and give up so im glad to see him too. Im kinda partial to him cause i got tanks and just got another tank bout 3 months ago thats a hoss but ive got a long ways to go to get it ready but one step at a time and a whole lot of Prayers. What bout your buddy that had a red land cruiser i havent seen him with you in a while i hope he is doing ok? I think you called him angry camper or something like that? What my buddies and I learned 30yrs ago doing this north of you up in the Plumas National forest, was putting the lightest rig with the largest tires first, than run them back to the heaviest. This usually worked well, by the time my heavy assed Toyota on 33's, weighed about 5k when loaded, the trail was all but groomed. When wheeling in from Graniteville to Bowman, does the Forest Service allow you to head out to HWY 20, or is that side still closed to wheeled vehicles. Years ago, we got ticketed back by Bowman, but we came in through lake Fuller side. I just recently found your videos, nice to see people still enjoying old school low key style wheeling.

I’ve ran 5-6 psi with no bead locks every snow run. Lower for getting unstuck, then inflating once out. A totally flat tire will get away from the edge. Of course no spinning or high speed cornering.

Were you guys breaking trail through Spaulding lake or from the other road?

Cool trip. Low elevation snow (under 6k) can be slimy / wet and like quicksand.

25 : 01 This gap is more like it. Nice form. So, there's a method to your madness. Hehe

22 : 55 That's too much gap for bondo. It will crack & look horrible. You'd be better off stripping the fender well metal two to three inches back from the outside sheetmetal & coating it with weld prep ( sprays on from a can ) . Once dry, you can weld directly to it without causing the metal to oxidize. Then cut & shape your fender flare to weld in place. 18 guage mild steel should surfice. I'm only bothering to share this because you guys are already putting so much work into this project. You have the tools & man power. Its really not that much extra effort. Eastwood offers great welding tutorials on youtube. They offer lots of modern tools & welding aids available today that wasn't easily availabe two decades ago. You've got a good looking chariot. Give it some fenders flares that will last & look cool.
