Nice work on the axles. I started wearing glasses about six months ago. I didn't realize how much I rely on them until I forgot them at home one day! Thanks for the video.

I kinda want to drive it around with no shocks just to see how funny it is to drive that way!!

I am assuming those are your boys helping out with the install? I love it.

Vas, add some shackle relocation brackets. It makes a huge difference in ride quality and articulation. Make sure you get a one piece design if possible because its weak point a lateral bump or side torsion

We have them on Few other and I would say it’s not big difference just adds one more thing to flex on green Jeep the are cracking the unibody so we will have to weld them in solid soon Tanya’s we just installed and we will see how it will go for her, but I sound say Curved Shackles are great one piece thing

@@4WDAdventureCrewThe "No lift" design is much better than the other types. The ones that add about a 1.5" lift also give the leaf spring more leverage against the weak original shackle pocket. Try the no lift type, you'll love.
P.S. you can probably make your own cause you are a crafty dude

How do these axles hold up? I know you broke a ujoint on your front axle which really surprised me. I thought they would be really hard to break anything. I haven't had any issues with my build dana 30 and ford 8.8, but i don't carry a bunch of weight around like you do.

They hold up well when we broke the ujoint my kid got the Jeep bound up in the rocks and gave it the onions, other then that I have no problems with the axles or anything

That motor has a knock or the flex plate is loose or cracked

If you have been around XJ‘s as much as I have been, you will learn that all of them sound the same when they have piston slap, it’s a typical sound of an 4.0 motor with approximately 200,000 miles on it

That's what I thought too at one point, but as Vas mentioned, they almost all sound like that.
