Kudos for giving Graniteville a go. You could see where I started down that way in the Xterra and got stuck pretty fast. I noticed the downed trees or branches as well so we just decided to head out via Washington after the red Power Wagon pulled me out. 😊
wow lost snow still i want to hit Spanish mine but maybe not passable looks like you guys took gaston up to turn off for graniteville good stuff keep the vids coming
@@4WDAdventureCrewcheck the electrical wire gauge of your friends winch vs your winch. May explain why yours is running slower. Small wires give lower current and slower winch. Also the cold cranking amps of the battery may influence it. Also, check the size of fuse you are using. A small fuse protects your circuits, but also is another source of resistance. If there isn't risk of damage, maybe install a slightly larger fuse..... Assuming your wires are thick enough.
@sasquatchrosefarts9131 my wires are all good the problem is my winch is same brand as James but I got my in 2017 he got his in 2024 few years of development and little bit different technology used in new ones. Will be upgrading my later when it dies
No that was not a Ram Thing! That was completely a Driver Thing that time when you got him unstuck and then he done what he done i couldnt believe it. I just hope he learned something!
@@Mike-sr6gd Yes sir your right but what he done he stomped it to the floor instead of easing down on the petal. I'm thankful the truck went side ways instead of going of that drop off on one side. I've got a Dodge Ram 2500 and they are heavy especialy with the Cummings but good trucks. Later in video when they had to climb that deep bank the weight helped him. Believe me I'm not fussing I've got a Ram I'm just glad nobody is videoing me!
@@Tommy-rr7ez i did single peak the harder way in my ram 1500 by myself no spotters or anything. I did it on 33 at tires. I have 35 mudders now and a 12k winch in the front. Just put new inner axle stub and CV axle front right yesterday. I love hitting the trails, but don't have anyone to wheel with.
@@Mike-sr6gd You ought to be ready now buddy! We don't get snow wheeling snow in TN like yall. But the inches we get weight is good but in feet of snow like yall get the best i can tell the lighter the rig is the better in most cases. We've got dirt rocks and mud here so mine will work here but I would love to play in the snow but yall are to far away. Mike with you going to 37s on yours could you get by with not beefing up front-end or is it best to upgrade front-end with 37s? With mine being a Ram 2500 Dodge put a 3 and a half inch lift on it from factory and I'm going to put taller tires on it but not sure what size I can go with cause I don't realy want to lift it anymore.
Awesome video! Looking forward to the next!!!

Those diesels are heavy they sink in the snow.
