Barn to storage Garage conversion part 3, fixing the lack of foundations by underpinning a wall

Helped by my daughter we make a start on levelling the barn An unexpected problem with one of the walls was revealed when digging out the floor, the shallow foundations were exposed creating the need for it to be dug out and underpinned, unfortunately this was severely hampered by bad weather making progress very slow also showing my cheap home made soil sieve to separate the soil from the hard...

A huge hole opened up in the middle of the driveway, our new house came with a hidden water feature!

After moving in about five weeks ago, we started to notice a slight dip in the middle of the driveway but didn't take too much notice of it It got progressively worse over that time and then suddenly a hole appeared, worryingly we had been driving over it up until now with the removal lorry, the camper van, the pickup and the cars Apparently about 50 years ago there was a well feeding water to ...
2012 t6 Ford Ranger P00BD fault code diagnosed using forscan but its not a split hose or air leak

Welcome back to the channel, in this video I finally manage to sort out a running issue with the ranger where the Drivetrain or Powertrain Warning lamp would illuminate on the dash, sometimes followed by the EML light too Reading the ECU using a free copy of Forscan gave a P00BD code indicating MAF "A" Circuit Range/Performance Flow Too High- this would normally indicate a split hose or air lea...

    Thanks for showing the location of the BCM. I need to find a + or - feed from the reverse switch (under gear lever gator I believe). Finding the wire at BCM seems an easier job than removing plastic trim around gear lever. Can you tell me which wire and which plug receives a + or - from the reverse switch?

    Hi Paul - I have an MAN too. Any ideas on how to fix a real rattly sliding door. I can't find anything specific to MAN TGEs. The noise is becoming unbearable. 2020 LWB. Deal did change the rollers under warrant. Cheers

      I've not really had much of an issue with mine tbh but I'd start by lubricating the door locators on the 'B' pillar and making sure the runners are in good condition, my replacement door was a new take off unit and came with the runners, the one that came off the van was seized and worn flat- replace (if worn) or adjust the locking mechanism in the 'C' pillar to pull the door in tighter, you can also get extended rubber stops that put extra pressure on the door when its closed but personally i dont like that idea

    • @paulsprojects1
      @paulsprojects1 3 місяці тому

      as long as you use the locking pins the engine should be in time, just make sure you rotate it by hand for a couple of revolutions before trying to start it to check that nothing touches or locks up

    • @MrArni765
      @MrArni765 3 місяці тому

      @@paulsprojects1 I have managed to find the markings on the crankshaft, they are on the external belt pulley and on the timing belt cover. There was a slight misalignment of the camshaft due to the bad/worn timing tool that was not the exact thickness that allowed the camshaft to move for a few degrees. Those engines are very sensitive to misalignments.
