First look at our latest acquisition, a 2012 Ford Ranger extra cab pick up

New project time- this is our latest purchase a 2012 ford t6 Ranger- with the house move getting imminently closer were having a rethink about the current daily fleet and making some changes
This one is the slightly less popular 'extra cab' or 'king cab' model which was chosen specifically because it gave the best compromise of truck bed capacity while still having enough room for 4 people (albeit quite cramped in the rear) but with the added bonus of funky RX8 style suicide rear doors
The Ranger has some good and not so good points but the first jobs on the list is to have a good look around, give it a good clean and get a new mot test which might be easier said than done
The rear of the chassis is in poor condition and needs some major attention, these are known to have problems and ford themselves have replaced many chassis under warranty but unfortunately the scheme seems to be finished now and I'm sure this one is too old to qualify so we're going to be having a look to see what can be sorted out

Wow i wouldn't think that a 11 years old ranger would be like that and the rear those crusty sounds ewww is that for all ranger or only becasue that one wasn't properly clean / taken care of ?
