@andrewgoodman8161 Yeah spinner baits even with a trailer hook don't have the best hookup percentage...but they are a deadly weapon that's often overlooked

@ believe it or not, I‘m a musky nut too and use 4/0 Gamakatsus for rigging 15“ suckers, but maybe your trebles appear bigger in the video as they actually are. BTW good work, nice footage!

@Sabaskong AH yeah...4/0 is perfect for larger bait. These treble are so small I get concerned about them bending out...but anything larger would be too large. Thanks for watching!

My buddies were fishing a canal on the side of the road one day I saw em n pulled over to say what's up and smoke a cigarette w them. I hadn't touched a rod since i was like 5 or 6 years old I was 25 at this time. They hadn't caught anything yet been out there for 3 hrs or so. They ask me if I wanna try a cast I say sure. Ofc literally first and only cast I make, i caught a decent bass. I had to laugh I felt so bad tho lmao one of my boys was pissed hahahaha

@mikebennewitz7019 I've used both and while i tend to agree for this particular glider I prefer to use floro because the lighter leader compliments the suspending action of the bait a bit better. It won't pull the nose down

@ I have 5in and 6in. I run them with 6 or 12inch straight wire. 6.3 gear ratio. I work my with no rod jerk. All paddle chop and I can’t get them to run. I get hard belly rolls and no side to side action

@troutdad7632 I actually get a good glide using 10" floro and a split ring onto the snap. My theory is that most gliders sink so the straight wire sinks with it but the beauzookahs suspend so the wire leader falls faster and pulls it down

@ here in germany we go after pike and I have never fight a fish that hard like you did 😊

@RGAGANG ah I see. Here in the states we use pretty heavy equipment so it's easier to bring the fish in faster...the longer you fight a Musky the more stress gets put on the fish...so I always try and get them in as soon as possible. Musky seem to be more suseptible to stress that Pike from my experience

We released it and it swam off strong. Did you miss that part? While fishing...fish preservation and protection is a huge priority for me. I never keep or eat or kill musky

@@sgangling I did miss that part. Accept my apology then. The creatures like this one are a part of nature and its beauty and must not be removed from it unless extreme necessity.

@krysarak I respect your position. My poppy fished for Musky and I started a UA-cam channel in his honor doing what he loved most...his ashes were in the next bay over from where this fish was caught and it's of extreme necessity that I carry on his legacy and film it for others to enjoy.
