- With my boat in the shop I tried something new - Musky fishing in a canoe. My first day took me to a quiet scenic creek that holds lots of Musky. Day 2 I head back to the same area to make up for a few mistakes made the first time. Enjoy the episode!
Hey Sam, netting a musky solo is tricky in a boat, in a canoe it's a real challenge as you have NO room to work with at all! Fish sure seemed fine to me! That day 2 musky was awesome! Love the acrobatic jumps and that you called your shot! Good stuff man!! 👍
You might be surprised how many 'skies can congregate into a very small river pool. Years back a couple friends and I found a nice stretch of one of the Potomac's smaller branches and caught half a dozen (all different fish btw) in a tiny stretch, no more than 40' × 15' and mostly ~ 3-4 feet deep

Buddy you did just fine netting that beast. That is not an easy task in a canoe. I just bought a kayak and am about to try catching those from it at my local reservoir. I am quite sure if I do catch one and land it without needing band aids when I'm done...I'm calling it a success.
