Fishing For FAT Winter MUSKIES + SURPRISE CATCH!!!

After 5+ years of SG Angling episodes I have never filmed a winter reservoir Musky episode. On this day it was a cold morning, snow was still on the ground and even a bit of ice on the lake...but as the sun rose above the horizon and the bait began to move the Musky hunt was on!!! How deep do you run your dead bait? That was a channel cat (blue).

I believe in this video I was running it at 19 feet over 22 feet of water...this is where the live schools of shad started so I wanted to hang it near the bottom but I was running it several yard off the bait so that the dead shad was an outlier and not competing with the live schools of shad.
