The ultra 300 does have cooling issues due to the shallow water jacket design on the cylinders. When running full throttle under heavy load or on hot days, the machine usually does not get adequate cooling.     as there is an Pin in the exhaust it will not fall into the Waterbox and 2nd of all just change it every 100 Hours its way better design then first version without the hole. There is no performance gain when using the Plate but faulty Plugs will be the Result.

    No joke, just got my solas impeller in the mail today for my 24 310. Rive’s stage 2 and three kit comes with a 14/18 impeller, is this new size perhaps with the longer snout? . Or did I just wasted a few bucks?

    I have a 14/21 repitched to a 14/20 in my 310. Jamie at Kspeed recommended the 14/21 being repitched to 14/20 for more speed. Haven’t got a chance to test out top end yet

    just rebuilt my 15f motor and followed the instructions. I had good compression up until I started the motor, now I have 220 psi on cylinder 2 and 3, but 0 on 1 & 4. Could this be a timing issue or something worse?

      You would have to put the cams at lobe up and vacuum test the head, it is possible a valve was bent

      @@kawiperformance I found out what it was. The retainers we're installed properly on those two cylinders, and then it damaged the little spacers on top of the valves. After fixing that it's running great.

      On the valve cover bolts, never. There are fine metallic particles that will get in you engine

      310 Cylinder no, 310 Head yes. But you have to make sure your lash is correct.

    Is it advisable to keep the plastic cover off wich covers the fuel bag, am seeing more and more people leaving it off, saying its more fuelflow and longer lifetime. To mee i think it will suck dirt upp faster

      @@CrochetNewsNetwork just like the KP bypass plate eliminates exhaust filter maintenance and the KP Saltwater series tensioner package eliminates tensioner maintenance, this will essentially eliminate the need to change the factory bag every 25 hours and will improve fuel flow to meet the demand of high performance applications! You can get a coarse bag and run the KP external filter (what I will be doing) or run a KP larger fine mesh bag in tank- either option will be less change interval than OEM

      @@Razorpee sadly Kawasaki shafted us the with fuel pump and filter assembly on the new skis- its got a pathetic flow rate and the filter bag requires 25 hour change intervals for peak flow. This KP upgrade will eliminate the oem filter maintenance while also providing a deeper dip in the tank meaning you will get extended range compared to stock- this also allows you to run an external fuel filter before your injectors and a coarse bag in the tank that will likely last minimum 5x as long as the factory fuel bag. I'll be doing a full install and review in the coming weeks man- it's a bear to change but can be done if you have patience

    So which setup would you recommend for my STX-160? I’d like to go as long as possible without having to tear into my ski. I’d like to change my oil and spark plugs every 25 hours but not have to do anything major until every 100 or 200 hours. Would you suggest the external fuel filter?

      The fine mesh bag is recommended, it wont need cleaning for a long time

    Can the sc be pulled from the engine in the ski? I just ordered your overhaul kit. Think my detonation is actually a rattle from my sc. so I’m looking into what it’s going to take to pull the sc. can’t find any vids showing the actual removal of the sc from the engine.

    just purchased this and tried it on my 2022 310lx. Everything seemed fine but the newly programmed key will jot start the machine. When you put the new key in now the machine beeps 10 times and then the screen shuts off. What can be causing this issue?

      Hi, it means the key was not registered properly, you will have to repeat the process again
