how would you remove the movement if you wanted to put on a new dial? Do you have to loosen those screws with the arms attached to them?

As an investment, I get that its the rolex, but all things being equal im going for the BB58.

WMT is on the right track but the Barracuda dial doesn't quite capture the elegance of its referent. Still that bracelet looks on the money, except I'd like to know what the width is of the narrowest links, looks like they didn't go the whole distance?

Not having a tool-free adjustment clasp on a dive watch is unacceptable these days - San Martin has one on their BB58 homage which is half the price of the Neptune.

It’s frustrating to see that Tudor seems indifferent to their customers' needs. I assumed my BB 58 2024 would come equipped with a quick micro-adjustment clasp, but unfortunately, it doesn’t. Meanwhile, models like the BB54, Pelagos, and others already feature this innovation. What’s baffling is that the BB54, a cheaper model, benefits from this upgrade, yet Tudor has failed to include it in the far more premium BB 58. It’s disappointing when established brands prioritize profit margins over customer satisfaction. This lack of attention to detail in higher-end models suggests not only poor product strategy but a misunderstanding of their customer base, which values both innovation and fairness in product offerings.

A lot of those straps including the Vanguard are actually FKM rubber (a synthetic fluoroelastomer material), not natural rubber. FKM is hypoallergenic, doesn't attract dust and lint, and is super durable. I prefer it over natural rubber.

Grand Seikos have always had tapering bracelets. It's only some of the newer models since a few years that didn't have tapering bracelets. Just for your info.

I've found that Seiko has some exceptional timepieces in their catalogue. That model I have not seen, might be a JDM model, gotta check it out. BTW, I thought you sold your Lorier Neptune, I bought mine based on one of your earlier videos reviewing it.......I'm lovin my Neptune.

Just bought one in decent condition at a reasonable price. Impulse ebay buy having been aware of it for a while since I got into watches a few years ago... was wondering before it arrived if I'd regret the purchase - but no, I get it now - really is a lovely watch. Bonus it seems to be running extremely accurately, though I'll be interested to stick it on the timegrapher in different positions....

The 58 is so well made and perfectly proportioned for a sports watch. It borrows from classic Tudors and Rolex without being a slave to an exact copy . It really is it’s own thing. The gilt bezel gives the 58 a warm feel, the red triangle offers a pop of color paying homage to the Tudor Big Crown, the chunky coin edge crown is so satisfying to wind with a refined matching coin edge bezel and I love the snow flake seconds hand. It’s different from the more traditional lollipop style. By the way, 39 mm is on the smaller side for a modern sized sports watch. I think anything smaller is playing vintage territory.
