It's a beautiful watch indeed, but yeah if you have a Tudor Black Bay then you really don't need it! Pretty bold of Lorier to stick with hesalite to really drive home the vintage feel instead of going with sapphire.
the doooome!!! its so nice!! i wish they made it saphire even if it was double the price. also the hands would be nice half brushed half polished. thats all they need to take this watch to a high level!
Great review! I have the Lorier in Black/white indices and I love it. So many watches have sapphire nowadays, so IMO the acrylic is a refreshing choice. Looks great, and I don’t mind a few scratches on vintage style watches 👍🏻
I just received a Black Bay with red bezel and now want the Lorier Neptune V.IV. If I had the black Black Bay I probably wouldn’t. The Neptune is different enough where it is a homage but not an outright clone. It takes details from several styles to be it’s own (or so I think). Cannot wait for mine.

I love the skin divers like the longines etc, but cannot afford one and with 42cm they are too big for me. The Hydra is similar im design and I like it very much. Should fit my 6.7 wrist I guess. Hey there. I find the Hydra 2 allot more comfortable and looks good with anything, I sold all my Lorier watches to help fund my Explorer 1. I say the one I missed the most is the Hydra 2 out of all the Lorier I had. Cheers 🥃🙋🏻♂️
Got rid of my Neptune, laid like a flat bottle cap, lugs way TOO LONG and flat, crown digs flesh, markers had bug eye affect IMO. Better options for $500.

Lauren and Lorenzo have said that it’s actually not cheaper to use plexiglass. It’s clearly a design choice rather than a cost saving measure.
My reason is an Invicta 1953. ;). At $95, can't beat the value. I wear it more than my Omega. LOL.

A friend gave me a blue guild Neptune III and it’s one of my favorite watches. Probably the best gift ever. The Tudor BB58 is my next goal.
