To me the Hamilton and the Serica are entirely different animals. The Hamilton is an authentic (slightly oversized) bare bones field watch, the Serica is a dressy design watch with a mere field watch theme (as reflected in Serica's sophisticated product presentation). It would never occur to me to wear the Serica on a Nato just as I wouldn't wear a Cartier Santos on a Nato. I love Serica for their solid understanding of aesthetics, their iconic, authentic yet unpretentious design language and of course their reasonable prices.
All great points. We all like different things. The Serica looks good on a nato to me. Absolutely it is more sophisticated than a plain field watch but I think at its core, wants to be a tool. Cheers and thank you.
Brother, you sold me on the Serica 4512 WMB! It was sold out and I had to have one, I know pretty shallow. Watches are an obsession. My wife doesn't get it. Anyway, I kept going to the site, watching their videos, killing time, but for what ever reason, just a minute ago I tried the option, "destro" and I was able to order. I'm a lefty so I can certainly live with it. Can't wait. So here I am again checking out your video. Salute !! Their diver is next, Wow!
That Serica looks beautiful. Agree with fact that it looks more like an "elegant type" watch based on a fieltd theme. To me it compares more to the Hamilton Khaki Murph than the Hamilton Khaki Mechanical. Kind of the same vibe.
What a super review - really like your way of thinking about the watches. Many thanks, it's helped me a lot in my thoughts on field watches. Now strongly thinking of the Serica!
Hi Leo, just received today my commando, whaouh!… this dial and bezel🥰🥰🥰🥰. This little sweet looks like a luxury watch, a real strap monster andpunch well above its price, paires well aside my white Longines silver arrow and weems heritage chrono. Going to buy right now a full black artem strap and after a little glass of knockando21 🥃. Stunning little one. Thank you for giving my wife one more reason to shout 🤫
I have the new serica and the new Hamilton with the greenish dial and they're both great watches but the serica is able to lend a differtkind of field watch. It projects a more urban type of masculine sophistication where as the Hamilton ,offers a more traditional upscale field watch aesthetic . I prefer the manual wind but the Hamilton, has a nice movement ,a slightly augmented movement with eighty hours of preserved time. I'm glad I have both.
Beautiful watches, both of them, same in design like Seiko 5 Pilot, timeless design, gun metal case color make all the dfference. Field watches works best on Nato or textile strap. The Benrus is a very interesteing piece, I jost love it, totaly vintage look.
Get both. I own both. I am happy with both of them.

Did you get it?
@@LeoVinteler nope, not yet.

Who’s the artist playing in the background? I’m getting a Bill Evans vibe. Nice!
Completely two different watches… but I’m torn between the serica 4513 or the Baltic mr01..thoughts?
Hi. What model is that Benrus? Where did you get the bracelet and what bracelet is that? Awesome combo

Nice video! Love the bonKlip bracelet. I own the Hamilton and am very tempted to pickup a Serica
Hey there buddy. They are both amazing pieces.
Thank you for the compliment
Cheers to you 🙋🏻♂️🥃
Bonklip style bracelets are the lightest & most flexible wearing bracelets.
