Absolute stunner of a timepiece! Had these been out when I got my 1st gen Pelagos, I would have got this instead. That red pip just sets it off. Incredible! Too bad they didnt use the Pelagos buckle to alleviate the fitment of the bracelet. Absolutely love the Pelagos clasp.
Hey my friend. Red pip is a very nice touch indeed, I don’t know if the Pelagos clasp would fit this watch. The Pelagos as a whole is allot more of a diver tool watch, compared to the BB58. Working with what we got for now.
Hi Leo, love your delivery. I bought the BB58 about a year ago, not a vintage guy really but this is special and you nail the size is perfecto, the vintage vibe with the gilt and red accent on the pip, subtle standout. I have bracelet and nato, looks excellent on both, just change depending on the mood and attire. I'm going to subscribe mainly because I really like your appreciate of what you have and your attention to the details. Have a great 2022, hope you do well.

I honestly had not really noticed that stepped tapper on the bracelet until you pointed it out, lol. Doesn't bother me either. That bezel is so crisp sounding! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on it and for wearing the heck outta it and not being afraid of some scuffs! Cheers brother!

The 58 is so well made and perfectly proportioned for a sports watch. It borrows from classic Tudors and Rolex without being a slave to an exact copy . It really is it’s own thing. The gilt bezel gives the 58 a warm feel, the red triangle offers a pop of color paying homage to the Rolex Big Crown, the chunky coin edge crown is so satisfying to wind with a refined matching coin edge bezel and I love the snow flake seconds hand. It’s different from the more traditional lollipop style. By the way, 39 mm is on the smaller side for a modern sized sports watch. I think anything smaller is playing vintage territory.
I updated my BB58 bracelet about about 6 months ago with the Tudor Ranger bracelet which comes with the T-fit clasp. Plug and play. It fits the lugs exactly like the OEM BB58 bracelet Leo. IMO, its the only upgrade this watch needed. Now its simply PERFECT!! Cheers.

I love my Serica 4512. Especially on an olive drab tropical strap but the bonklip bracelet is also very comfortable and unique looking.
I also have the BB58 so I like where you’re going with your collection. 😏

Absolutely friend, the BB58 is one of the best around.
The Neptune is one of the best affordable divers on the market, especially with the Miyota movement Lorier uses now in the Slll. Good luck. They are easier to find now too.

This is one of the few divers that appeals to me more on the optional NATO strap rather than the bracelet
Loved this watch from the first moment I saw it. Do wish the bracelet had adjustability on the fly though.

Great purchase. I've had mine for 2 years and it gets more wrist time than all my other watches put together (including Rolex). I bought it on the leather strap (nice) and picked up an aftermarket bracelet from Strapcode because unlike you I couldn't face the faux rivets - the end links fit the way you like them btw. That said, I generally wear it on a selection of Natos - the BB58 is the ultimate strap monster, I'm sure you'll find. There's very little I'd want to change on this watch, it's close to perfect - which is more than I can say for your choice of drink (sorry!).

I very recently (Nov 2021) bought the Black Bay 58 Navy Blue to compliment a range of predominantly black-dialled watches in my collection that include the classic Rolex Submariner Date 16610 that I've owned for 19 yrs. The Tudor is a super, very well-made luxury timepiece and I appreciate its rather understated blue dial and bezel compared to the 'bling-blue' ceramic of my Omega Seamaster 300. Like-for-like think of the Blue 58 as a more modern take on its original black and gilt sibling. The blue really pops in daylight or in well-lit rooms and a pleasure to wear. Although not quite up there with the Rolex Sub in the absolute quality stakes - but why should it when barely 40% of the retail price - go to an AD and try one on. In-house COSC certified movement, 70 hrs power reserve, staggering lume.... you won't be disappointed.
Blue black bay is a stunning piece, yes not a Rolex but great watch. Now the Rolex you have is one of my fav references. Cheers 🥃

The micro adjustment is 1/2 to 1/4 . You need to take the extra link out and then set it to the largest micro adjustment or add a link and set it to the shortest micro adjustment. Try different combinations there should be no reason why it wouldn’t fit perfectly.
Nice video, but I have a question here. Why does your BB58 have silver numerals on the bezel opposed to being gold like what is seen pretty much all the time and on Tudor’s website?
It doesn’t have silver, they’re gold like any BB58 black 🙋🏻♂️🍷

Hi Leo, I was so lucky to be gifted a watch belonging to my late father in law. A 1960 Tudor Submariner 7928 with pointed crown guards and gilt chapter ring. He had it from brand new and its running fantastic. My everyday wear now, but values seem to be sky rocketing. Maybe I should stop doing car repairs in it... 😄
Wow that’s an amazing piece. I know you can look at it as a cash out at some point, unfortunately that will only bring lack of enjoyment. I would just rock it every day. Enjoy friend, not many of us will wear one of those.

I prefer the BB58 over the Submariner which is why I bought two, the black and the blue. People keep talking about fake rivets but they are not actually fake as if you shaved the rivet heads of you could remove the link so basically they are not fake just not functional for the purpose of resizing as the bracelet would be damaged.

Do you have an issue when the main spring is fully wound, and you manually wind the watch, it makes a grinding/clicking noise and becomes slightly tight to wind? I’ve had mine for 3 months and just noticed it the other day. The dealer said it’s normal and tested the watch for accuracy and amplitude and everything was working fine. Do you think this warrants sending back to the OEM?
Hi there. No friend, it is normal, mine has that sound also, it is kinda of a rotation click. Not to worry, it’s this specific movement. I never handwind this piece too much to notice the issues you referring to. It only needs 4-5 winds and than it’s all ready, it is an automatic after all. Don’t overwind it. It’s not meant to function that way.

Any automatic watch has a clutch built in. Otherwise you could overwind it simply by wearing it etc. that clicking and tightness will be the clutch kicking in with each turn once it’s fully wound. At least this is what my watchmaker tells me.

Well they are different watches. Diver or field, more of a daily piece. The Ranger also has the adjustable clasp, that’s a plus but not as good looking as the BB58.

But my grail watch is the rolex explorer. since i dont plan on getting any other rolex, might as well go for the tudor "submariner"bb58. But my love for the explorer also makes me want to get the ranger so bad as well.
