Laurie Lee's As I Walked Out One Summer's Morning is unbelievably good. Beautiful, beautiful simple prose. Such an accomplished, humble storyteller who loved England, nature, people and adventure. I just listened to Audio of the sequel - A Moment of War, and now Village Christmas, where he mentioned his intention to be buried in his home village churchyard. So I had to see it. Ironically I traveled from my village in New Zealand to walk the Cotswold Way last year, carrying my kit and sleeping out, as Laurie would have encouraged! I must have walked so, so close to his village. I would've definitely paid my respects. Now I must return. Laurie is to writing England, what Nick Drake was to singing it. Thank you so much for so well making this. JD

I still have a feeling of loss not visitng here on our trip in 2023. It was one of the MUST SEE places on my list. 5ings don’t always work to plan. Looe looks like such a lovely place to visit. Loved the name of the Banjo Pier. Very neat to see the statue of the seal that lived in the area, and the spot to practice tying knots is great! The ice cream break looked like it was perfectly timed! I enjoyed seeing your tour and I am convinced the gulls in the U.K. sound much more picturesque than ours here in North America.

Troll town

Looe is such a very picturesque town. Love the views from the Looe bridge. So many boats and views of the town. So many great shops and restaurants in town. Also, beautiful views of the beach and sea. Your video beautifully showcased the rich heritage and natural beauty of this charming town.

At Bridlington you DONT have to PAY for Toilets . All other seaside places you do. I think it’s disgusting having to pay. We spend plenty on day trips & week holidays. Thanks for your video 👍🏻☀️😎

Beautiful area with lots of history. That is kind of funny that a production crew dropped off a flock of doves and they were like "we are just going to stay here forever in these old cannons."
