Naughty assistance You better behave Kim. Great Charlestown full of history. Love the port and old buildings. Great museum. A Charming Village indeed. Thank you for taking us along. 🙏🏼👍🏼🤠♥
I do have to keep her under control sometimes. 🤣 it certainly is a place full of history and one mans passion. Glad you enjoyed it. Best wishes from us both. 👍🚶🏻♂️🚶🏻♀️
Oh dear Watto and Kim, I missed this. It’s been such a weird time lately. Well, watching now. I do so love Cornwall. Always a treat to learn and see more. Thanks friends for sharing your experiences while on the road. I love being part of the journey. 👌🇳🇱🙋🏼♀️🥝
Thank you so much Anita. We live Cornwall too and just can’t get enough of it. Glad you liked it and enjoy coming along with us. Have a great weekend. 👍🏻🚶🏻♂️🚶♀️
Glad you enjoyed it Jo. It is quite small but loads of history. Sadly the museum is earmarked to be sold off so I’m told. Thanks for watching. Hope you guys are both well. 👍🏻🚶🏻♂️🚶♀️
That's a really lovely village, I can see why it's been used in historic movies. Seeing the sailing ships in the harbour makes it really great, there's something wonderful about seeing ships with masts and rigging.
A free park sounds good to me and I do remember the Oneida Line. The harbour looked great but I felt sorry for the naughty assistant lol! Those doves must be a canny age mind and never heard of a floating Air B&B before and 100% with you on hauling one of those boats back up the slipway! Interesting little museum and the China clay tunnels, goodbye Kim, cheers Alan
Yep free is my favourite price 👍🏻. It is a very cool place and can see why it’s used for filming so much. It is certainly one of the steepest slipways I’ve seen. Thanks for watching Alan. Glad you liked it. Have a great weekend. Hope you both shake off the bad chests soon. 👍🏻🚶🏻♂️🚶♀️
Morning Watto and Kim Sorry we've just seen this. Yay to free parking ❤ We really need a trip down to Cornwall it looks stunning Oh dear naughty Kim😂😂 Morgs would have gone in those too. Loved all the info, such an interesting place and totally see why its been used for TV and film Have a great weekend guys ❤
Morning watto and Kim 😁 Cornwall is just so picturesque. Lovely by the water, lol Kim in the stocks. Nice that the doves are still there 😊 the museum looked very interesting and walking through the clay tunnels looked cool. Great video have a lovely weekend 😊
Thanks Yasmin. We enjoyed exploring. Easy to see why it is used for filming. As very picturesque as you said. Thanks for coming along. Enjoy your weekend. 👍🏻🚶🏻♂️🚶♀️
Great tour of Charlestown - one of my favourite places. I parked by the church and walked down to avoid the parking charges too - good tip! Oh gosh yes, sorry to say I am old enough to remember The Onedin Line! I think some was filmed in Gloucester Docks too. Poor Kim in the stocks! What did she do?! A lovely tour around Watto & Kim - thank you for sharing. I didn't know that about the doves - amazing! Sad to report that the shipwreck museum is being closed off and contents sold by auction - Tim Smit from Eden and Helligan fame is selling it. Throughly enjoyed this - take care, Paul.
Thanks Paul. yes it will be a shame as it is very interesting to visit. and a good money spinner for them. Yes i do remember the Onedin Line too which was also filmed in Gloucester you are correct. Kim was constantly getting in my shots so I had no choice but to lock her up. 😃 It is a very nice area and Charlestown is well worth a wander. 👍🚶🏻♀️🚶🏻♂️
Very much enjoyed seeing Charlestown through your lens Watto. Always enjoy your filming and editing btw, very pleasing to watch! The town is very pretty, can see why it's been used in movies and series etc! Thank you both for a wander and wonderful tour in such a historically and picturesque place. x
Ah thanks so much Alessa. i do sometimes wonder if I spend too long and make too much effort as there are a lot of channels that just don't seem to bother and get massive views. I am always lucky to get near 200. Still nice to know someone appreciates the effort. Hope you are both doing ok and balancing work with getting out. Be good and always best wishes from us both in Glos Vegas 👍🚶🏻♂️🚶🏻♀️
@@WanderingwithWatto I know what you mean Paul, it does feel disheartening, but genuinely we both really enjoy your content and can see how well put together and thought about it is and it comes across as an actual cinematic adventure. The views will come for you, just hope they do for us too!! Thank you, hope you and Kim are well also and looking after one another. We're trying to get some content out, but work is really getting in the way, it should calm down soon though with dreaded winter on the way! Hehe. Thank you for the excellent video x
A really cool place that Paul love all the nuggets of info along the way Mate very interesting You and Kim definitely have done justice to Charles Town 👌🏻🤠 Very best wishes Simon
Beautiful area with lots of history. That is kind of funny that a production crew dropped off a flock of doves and they were like "we are just going to stay here forever in these old cannons."
@@OutandaboutwithAndy Cheers Andy, Definately worth a visit. I can see why they do the filming there, very quaint harbour. Have a good weekend 👍🏻🚶🏻♂️🚶♀️
Hi guys, Always a bonus if you get free parking. The harbour looks beautiful. Can see why lots of things have been filmed there. The colour of that water does look stunning. Hi Watto and Kim The UK's little town along the coastline seems to own such history and this Charlestown is not an exception. I like Watto's storytelling. haha we have Charleston and my mind is confusing between Charlestown and Charleston. Very pleasant walking tour. No seat, no hills? hahah Well done both of YOU. , Watto, I am going to take Kim for IFLY for mins...hahha Thank you for dropping by
