These are some of my favourite walks to watch, along a great canal. Not something we have in my part of the world anyway. Seems so nice and pleasant and quiet. Lovely to see green once again!! And a stop for a great lunch too! Fantastic day out!!

Thanks Thomas. It is very popular with cyclists. And there is a route that takes in the canal and other places about 25 miles or so. We will ride it one day for sure.
I never feel guilty after having a nice lunch if I have a walk before or after (preferably both). Looks like you have no sun down there and it sure as hell is not Up North, so goodness knows where it is hiding. Shame we did not see that lunch as I am sure you would have pushed the boat out for Kim's birthday dinner, cheers Alan
Alan it has done nothing but rain for what seems like months. Not much sign if spring just yet. And we are currently in North Devon for a week and there are hailstones. Unbelievable. 🤷🏻♂️ lunch was very nice. That place is quirky as is the whole of Stroud. Lots of tie dyed shirts and dungarees. I have been pampering Kim as she deserves it putting up with me for so long.

Hey thank you for your great comments. Yes, the flooding in the UK is getting g worse every year. Very colourful water as we had lots of rain the day before. Kim managed to get a photo of a heron so she was very happy 👌🏻
