Inspired by this video I decided to check out the prices. Loganair want £200 EACH WAY. I can get to the Canary Islands and back for a quarter of that. Suffice to say Loganair can shove their plane where the sun don't shine...unlike the Canary Islands where the sun shines all of the time. Loganair = Rip-off merchants.

Looks like a good onboard service but the passenger experience at Warsaw Modlin looks pretty miserable. However, for £18 it's outstanding value. Did you not fancy braving a 6 hour flight on Buzz from Warsaw Modlin to Tenerife South? 😂

LONGER STOP Mallaig would benefit from a stop longer than 1 hour.........and, given it's remote location, the station would benefit from the restoration of a platform length canopy. It is surprising that the authorities, both local and national, have not given more thought about restoring Mallaig Station to the grandeur that it once had. A turntable at Mallaig would also make sense...... Unsure which coaching stock is currently in use on 'The Jacobite' (May, 2024)... The Mark 1's are superb and make perfect sense. Not so sure about being hermetically-sealed in other coaching stock..... James Hennighan Yorkshire, England P.S. The so-called 'Locking' of doors on Mark 1's is an administrative and beaurocratic nonsense, with WCR getting the sharp end of an unnecessary stick from 'Officialdom' Mark 1 Coach Doors .....and particularly the Locking Mechanisms, are perfectly safe. They were designed to be this way and work as a two-step operating function. They cannot open accidentally.

So basically just a Ryanair flight then, Shame you didn't get one in the Buzz livery. I must say the Buzz livery reminds me of Busybee back in the day. Modlin Airport deon't look like a good airport to fly from though. Never good when you have to sit on the floor 😒

Modlin Airport looks tortuous with a long exposed trek to the aircraft. Imagine surviving that place then arriving in the UK to find UK Border Farce are shirking from home or their IT system is down 😮

Flew with "Buzz" to Bratislava last year. If they'd not told me otherwise on the booking it could just have been Ryanair and I wouldn't have known any difference!

Flew with Buzz just over a month ago and exactly the great service I expected. Nothing more is needed to experience this incredible way of travelling. The fact we can sit in these planes and actually fly to other points on this world is incredible. I don't need a screen or an extremely comfortable seat. Modlin Airport is one I've been to many times as its the closest to connecting me with my family in Lodz from Edinburgh.

Buzz don't seem to be any different at present from their parent company RyanAir as yet, does anyone know why they formed Buzz for the Polish market?

Buzz are just Ryanair that allows them to pay Eastern European wages rather than Western European ones...it's wrong to consider them an airline in itself, most of their flights have almost no obvious 'Buzz' branding unless you look for it - even then it's just 'Ryanair operated by Buzz'.

Great information, but this is too low end for me to fly across the Atlantic. Norse is a much better option if they go where you want to go. Costs a small amount more but it seems it is much more comfortable (scary to say that but Norse really offers great value).

I have been reading about Norse, it is really interesting. They took over the Norwegian airplanes over for better lease/owner rates. They have 15 planes but on a slow strategy launched in 2022 with 10 planes, leasing out the other 5 planes so they did not lose money on them. In 2024 they now have 12 of the planes with 3 remaining on lease to other customers. Next year they will have all 15 planes. They served nearly a million customers in 2023 compared to 120,000 customers in 2022. Their premium product has 44 inches between seats, and the seatback goes back 12 inches. On Delta Premium Select in comparison there is 32 inches and the seatback goes back 6 inches. So this is better than the mainline carriers. Plan to use it for my family to go to Europe in 2025.

Thanks Dom another great video. I flew EDI-BCN return in November 2022 with Bou-well-ing (with a slight 'v' between the Bou and the well!). They are fine but it was the only time I have ever flown where the staff were working to rule, or something similar, and although there was a full crew complement they were not selling food or duty free. So basically, they all stood about and chatted for two hours! I don't understand the duration for flights to/from BCN. The time to and from EDI was 2 hours and 10 minutes. Your flight to LGW was the same. Eh? I have also flown to LHR from BCN and that was one hour and 50 minutes. (Also GLA-GRO at 2 hours and 10 minutes). Why does it take so long to and from London? Thanks again!

I was at BCN today (5/5/24). Flight VY8754 from BCN - BHX and the gate said it was closed before boarding even started so I had to rush to gate D07. Apron views were fantastic and so was the flight.
