Most of the biggest complaints I've heard regarding Spirit involve delayed/cancelled flights and missed connections. Because many of Spirit's routes are only flown once a day or even only a couple times per week, missing your flight can mean being stuck for days unless you pay out of pocket to make alternative arrangements (Spirit doesn't have interline agreements with any other carriers, so putting you on an alternative flight isn't happening).
That is what I saw too. Thankfully there wasn’t any of these shenanigans on this flight. It was a brief but good experience. I will have to try them again on a longer route to see though.
I loved my couple of flights with Spirit that I took about four years ago! I flew with them from Las Vegas to San Diego, then a few days later, from San Diego to Houston. I paid for a big front seat and checked baggage on both flights, and still paid considerably less than the legacy airlines were asking. If we had Spirit in the UK, I'd choose them over Ryanair any day of the week! 😊
So true, manners cost nothing & I always believe in leaving something better than how you found it. She clearly could have used assistance so I offered.
Did you come in off an international flight into LAS and that's why you were landside at the new terminal? The terminals are connected inside security via train.
No, I can off of a flight down from Portland Oregon. Not sure why I was directed into a shuttle bus if there was a rail link. It worked out fine though so that all that matters. 😁
I have no idea about Spirit airlines. This is so far removed from my life style, i cannot relate to it at all. I wish you well on your new jet set life. I did like the photography though. 😊
What do you think? Is this actually the worst airline in America? Or does this flight actually show a good budget airline?
Sixteen bucks for a Stella. Las Vegas Airport is having a laugh there!
Indeed they are, Scandinavia isn’t that expensive! 🤣

Nice vid. Cheaper to buy drinks onboard than In the airport 😅
True that! Onboard is practically a bargain by comparison. 🤣
Lovely act in helping the lady.

Nonstop. Like. really super trip~talk to you soon- 😌
Glad you liked it!
Nice of you to offer that lady a hand. So easy to forget others when you are rushing.

$35 is pretty good and you got your desired seat with a free row!
That was a real bonus!
I had a great experience with Spirit.

Don’t worry more Scottish and UK things coming soon! 😁
Another great video Dom. Thanks for posting it!
Thanks David, glad you enjoyed it. 😁
Spirit Airlines itself and their crews are ok, it is the passengers that cause most of the issues!
I think this is sadly true across all budget airlines all over the world.
the seats are comfy until it’s a 3+ hour flight
I would like to try them on a longer flight! I’ve flown many budget carriers on 3+ hour flights some ok some not so.
Would your impressions be as positive if you had been stuck in the middle seat with people on either side?
I always find paying the small bit extra for seat selection helps avoid this
@@WorldWide_Dom Well said
I thought they were fine for a budget 1 hour flight. Another great video, Dom and those views were amazing. Thanks 😊
They are!
I paid £13 for a beer in Istanbul airport. I was shocked.
Some airports really are having a laugh!
Great vlog and good price for seat selection 👍
It really is! I can’t complain.
Would you compare it with RyanAir ...
From my experience I’d say it’s more like WizzAir in terms of operation. But these comparisons are in the plans for future videos 😁
Seems fine good enough spirit Airlines Don not sure why airport drinks so sky high in price excuse the pun
Haha it fine they were astronomical. Glad you enjoyed the video.
I have never had a problem with Spirit Airlines....they were great everytime I flew them
Certainly seemed like a solid product from my experience.
Speaking of the worst airlines, have you ever tried Air India? They are much worse than this.
I have flown Air India from Colombo to Chennai. I need to fly them more to get a good picture but from my brief experience the flight was ok.
USD16.00 for a Stella!! Good lord!!!!!!
Yup, in Iceland just now and it’s around $7 a beer
