@@WorldWide_Dom probably flown about 400 flights on them and only h ever had 1 canceled flight. I fly them almost exclusively even though they usually cost slightly more. Thank you for the review. I prefer a quick list of things that to review on an airline, since I have flown most them in the U.S. 1. Seat comfort, 2. Leg room, 3. entertainment, 4. Snacks, 5. In-flight employees professionalism and courtesy, 6. Baggage checkin and gate personnel professionalism and courtesy, 7. Baggage management, 8. Price competitiveness, almost forgot - 9. Boarding process. I have flown many cross country trips over the past year, and would add a #10 to this list = Frequent non-stops to a variety of destinations outside of the airline hubs.
This is a great video! Going on Alaska airlines in a few months. So hoping mine goes well too. Was the food you are included or did you have to purchase?
All food is buy onboard, hope you have a great flight. Just make sure to double check your following the airlines terms of service and you’ll be fine. 😁
Flown the 737 MAX from Spokane to Seattle a lot on my way back to Scotland for about a year, then when I do other trips to the PNW as well over the last year or so: really nice cabin and service. Love Alaska Airlines.
Thank you for a clear minded review. Why Because some are tooo detailed and mind boggling. I really appreciated when you said that although the price was high, it was worth the experience. Anyway I look at it like this, to fly from LAX back East to Maryland will cost a pretty penny, anyway, therefore I might as well spend the money and not be too cheap about it. Best.🤚
Looks like they justly deserve their positive reputation, I mean what other airline gives their passengers the “Royal” treatment 😂. I must admit that flight attendant really did look remarkably like Prince Harry 😮😊. Another great video Dom, thank you.
Great video as usual Dom. Hope you're having (or have had) a great time in Hawaii. I used to long to go there when I was a child as I loved the TV series "Hawaii Five 0." There are just too many places to visit so if Hawaii features it will need to be en route to somewhere or a stop off on the way home. Keep 'em coming!
Glad you enjoyed it! Been a great time in Hawaii and America overall, absolutely fantastic country with fantastic people! Love a bit of Hawaii Five 0, There are many more video coming up don't worry. 😁
We're enjoy your flight reviews in the States although we hardly ever travel there even though they are our neighbours. We tend to head across the Atlantic rather than across the border. Any videos coming up of you exploring some of your destinations in the US?
Glad your liking them. Sadly not these were all filmed over 4 days and very much was a flying visit. I do hope to get back to the states (& Canada/Mexico) very soon!
Interesting Airline, looks nice but the food… where was the deli? It looked like a snack box. Anyways, thanks for the review. I will be flying from St. Louis to Qatar, to the Philippines for my wife and I’s anniversary. She’s a Filipina so we’ll visit with her family too.
I’ve only flown with them between Seattle and Tri Cities WA on their bombardier q400s. Very basic but is all you need for a short 40 minute journey. There was no oxygen mask demonstration so I’m guessing the plane was flying low enough that it wasn’t needed
Rude couldn't care less staff at the end are a disgrace, hope management see this and remind them that customers make paydays possible. A lot of USAF hardware 💪visible on landing, probably 5 times as many aircraft than the entire depleted Royal Air Force. Good video thanks 👍
Thank you I'm glad you think that. Generally I think my videos still need a lot of improvement before the channel can get to that stage. I'm Definitely working on it though. 😁
Looks like the cabin crew were rather too busy yapping about interests rates to say cheerio to the passengers as you guys left. Bit rude. They are royalty though, I suppose!
Would very much love to go to Alaska! Such a beautiful part of the world! I believe the Seattle base was only for connections due to range limitations of aircraft. It’s will be interesting to see once all the new MAX aircraft are added to the fleet if that will change, I see that Alaska Airlines are starting from anchorage to NY-JFK with the MAX.
Alaska is my favorite US domestic airline, if only because it's the least-worst domestic airline. I do think their service has dropped from when I flew them in the '70s and '80s in Alaska, but you can say that about all US airlines.
Least worst is the best way to put it. I try to have little to do with the big three, United, Delta and American, flying Alaska or Hawaiian. I have flown over 80 Airlines, although I don’t remember my first flight in a DC3 during WWII when I was a few weeks old. Have crossed the Atlantic many times and the Pacific a few times. The subsidized European lines were the best, but regulations have eliminated most subsidies. I have been astonished at how many airlines have gone out of business, including more than 50 of the airlines that I have flown. I have flown a few of the cheap airlines like Ryan, Southwest, and Jet Blue. Hate them! Mostly fly business class on European lines.
What are your thoughts on Alaska Airlines?
I am fearful of all the trouble they have been having over the last couple of years.

Thanks again Tim! Glad you enjoyed it.

If you get economy and not pay extra for the assigned seat do they over book the flights ?
Do economy seats recline?

Is it considered a domestic flight? Great video 👍🏻

Yes, I chose Alaska Airlines @@WorldWide_Dom
yes it’s domestic, hawaii is US soil, from someone at hawaii 🤙🏽

I’d say Alaska Airlines is the best U.S. legacy carrier by a large degree.
They need to make a LATAM-style rebranding
That would actually be a very smart move!

I just wanted to let you know that playing you're flying on is a 9 ER
Nice Video! Thats a 737-900ER though not a Max 9 🙂
Thank you, I only noticed that myself too late, this was filmed a while ago so I forgot 😅
Better the ER than the Max
N407AS is a 737-900ER :)
I was look8ng for more inf9 about this airline. I also searched Alaskan Airlines lol
The Prince Harry bit is HILARIOUS!!!

I do love a Dash-8! You are correct when the flight plan doesn't take an aircraft so high oxygen demo isn't usually included.
I fly 'em and I love 'em.
Glad to hear! my experience was very good.
No screen?
wonderful video, but the plane is a 737-900er, not a max 9
Yes😂😂😂
Landing was butter wasn’t it?
The Prince Harry part is so funny. Cheers.
Correction:! What you called Business Class on Alaska Airlines is their FIRST Class.
That's not the 737 max 9 it looks like a 900-ER

After Prince Harry's book, that must be his day job😂. Super flight and super vlog❤.

Dom that is NOT a MAX-9 you flew on to HNL but its a 800 with scimitar winglets, come on mate get it right! 😉😁
Oh shush 😂
@@WorldWide_Dom has no one noticed before? Do I win a Tunnocks bar! 🤣👍
That aircraft is not a MAX FYI
The company isn’t called “Alaskan Airlines.”
Alaska is a good airline here in the US.
I certainly can agree, they did seem very friendly and professional and would fly with them again.
Jet blue is better. They have free snacks/food in economy. Also even half hour flights have screens AND free wifi.
That’s not a max 9 that is a 737-900ER
👌 👑 😊
Glad you liked it David. 😁
Love your short Prince Harry segment. ☺
Right it’s a 900 not max nine
why don't you have 100k plus subs

It’s Alaska Airlines NOT Alaskan Airlines
Thanks for pointing that out, kept slipping up on that one. Hope you enjoy it besides. 😁
Alaska does not have a business class they have a first class.
That's not a max it's a NG
Yes a slip up on my part. Too many 737 variants! 🤣
I know there are so many 😱😂

And yeah, everybody’s right. It’s Alaska not Alaskan.
It's been reported that Alaska Airlines has just purchased Hawaiian Airlines
I just saw that myself! Will be very interesting to see if it goes through and if they bring Hawaiian 🌺 into the one world Alliance.

Now they're buying Hawaiian airlines
