Inverness certainly has the potential. Personally I’d like to see them finally carry through with their 3rd option of the airport improvement plan and build a new terminal next to the train station allowing more medium hual aircraft to land at once.
I've flown out of Newquay a lot with Ryanair this year. Flown to Alicante, Faro, Stansted, Dublin & Malaga. Only route I haven't done as you did was the Newquay to Edinburgh, only that was with Loganair. I've heard Ryanair are doing more domestic routes in the UK market. But also advantage with Newquay it has plenty of domestic flights from across the UK.
Hey man, I’m trying to get this flight from Newquay to Edinburgh in October, but an October option doesn’t seem to exist. How far ahead in advance do Ryanair release flight dates?
Ryanair only run this route from Edinburgh to Newquay & vise versa seasonally over the Summer period. The other option is Loganair which run this route on Monday's, Friday's & Sunday's through October. hope this helps.
Have to confess I didn’t realise there were flights from Newquay to Edinburgh with RyanAir. Living in Inverness I am aware of the EasyJet to Bristol from Inverness and having seen a certain other UA-camr with the name Marsh, his video of Bristol, it’s a city I desperately want to explore
I've seen that same video. I put Bristol on my list. I haven't been out of England since 2014 and just been going around England exploring. I want to visit the Isle of Man, it looks really nice there. Nerve been to Ireland and been to Scotland one and Wales once.
You’re absolutely right! It’s 100% needed! Our domestic routes have been decimated since Covid! Well going the other way might be another upcoming video! 😉
Only trouble I heard with Ryanair is you have to still have a passport to fly with them in the Common Travel Area, and I let me passport expire and haven't renewed as I dont plan on leaving the Common Travel Area again. It would be good if they accepted photo I.D like some other carriers.
Sadly it’s down to each airline that rules they implement. Ryanair is obviously the most prominent case of passport only, other airlines that do fly within the common travel area do accept other photo ID but with the other budget carrier EasyJet the issue would be that they don’t fly to the Republic of Ireland 🇮🇪 they do fly to Northern Ireland if you wanted to used them then use another connecting transportation to travel onwards to the republic.
Oh that's interesting news, I always assumed easyJet flew to the republic of Ireland🇮🇪 I didn't even give it a thought 🤦😂. I haven't ever been to Ireland. Wouldn't it be good if there was just one specific airline carrier that was committed to just flying across the whole common travel area so that those of us who don't need a passport can at least travel to those places on an airline photo I.D is guaranteed to be accepted. Some of the ferries accept photo I.D and I think Jet2 and BA also do I read online.
I've never had any trouble with just using my driving licence within the common travel area apart from flying from the UK to Dublin Ryanair flights get sent through international arrivals instead of domestic ones hence why they ask you take a passport but any other domestic flight you should be fine with just your driving licence
I wouldn’t fly Ryanair if it was free - awful airline and a disgusting way they treat staff. Also I am not safe on anything built by Boeing - I’ll stick to other carriers thanks!
Great video and great summary of Ryanair. I live in Enniskillen and we actually have an airport. It won't take large jets but I'd love an airline to operate domestically (in Britain and Ireland) using a smaller planes.
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it. 😁 You are 100% right in that a lot of small airports are just not being served. I think ever since Covid a lot of the routes in the British Isles have just been decimated sadly. ☹️

What do you think? Would you like to see budget airlines operate more domestic routes in your country?
I'd like to see Ryanair offer routes from Stansted to Aberdeen and Inverness, for sure.
I would love to see these routes! Would certainly open up a lot more affordable routes from northern Scotland 🏴
I’d love to see more options from Inverness for sure.
Inverness certainly has the potential. Personally I’d like to see them finally carry through with their 3rd option of the airport improvement plan and build a new terminal next to the train station allowing more medium hual aircraft to land at once.
Since the demise of Flybe 1 and 2, the UK's domestic flights aren't covered as well anymore. It would be nice to see some come back

100% it could be a great little hub a bit like Exeter used to be with Flybe.
@NontopDom Fingers cross, would definitely like to see plenty more from my local airport. Maybe a comparison trip with between the two to Edinburgh.

@@WorldWide_Dom is there any other cheap options like 20 quid flights because I think longair flights cost like 90 quid.
@@Legendcpvp123Sadly not at the moment, the cheapest option would be to get to Bristol airport and fly from there on Easy-jet.
Cool cheers man

I’d definitely recommend Penzance and Newquay if you get the chance, Cornwall itself is simply beautiful.

This is how aviation is needed for similar domestic routes. Imagine doing this journey by surface transport ?
You’re absolutely right! It’s 100% needed! Our domestic routes have been decimated since Covid!

I dont think Ryanair operate this anymore
It is still operated, however the Edinburgh and London stansted routes at Newquay are seasonal summer routes only.
Great video, promoting Newquay to Edinburgh with Ryanair
A very enjoyable watch as always. I really need to explore Cornwall.
Thank you Tim, it was very bad weather while I was there sadly but it is a very pretty part of the UK.

Airbus and Boeing both are having terrible problems lately, I don't see why people chose not to fly Boeing, but gladly fly airbus.
Ryanair! Woop woop
You like Ryanair then?
