How well do you think Hawaiian Airlines in the world?
What a stunning take-off! That’s got to be one of the most beautiful views from an aircraft you can get. Great vid as always Dom. Oh and I’m glad you got a coffee in the end!
Haha thanks Tim, was a bit late on the coffee on this one! It’s definitely in my top-5 best take off’s! 😁
@@WorldWide_Dom didn't like Hawaii there was a Walmart there in Honolulu that messed my card up. Don't like Walmart anymore
Great video! I'm from O'ahu but living in New England now so I fly with Hawaiian once a year to visit my family. I love Hawaiian's hospitality and was so excited when they announced the Honolulu/Boston route back in September 2018 (inaugural flight was in April 2019).
They really are a good airline for domestic flights and will be using them again in the future.
That takeoff from Honolulu was magnificent 😊
It really was one of the best! 😁
I flew to Boston on HAL flt 90 and returned to Honolulu on flt 89. This was a special experience, especially for someone like myself who was visiting Boston for the first time. It is still amazing to be able to fly that distance on a single flight. The return flight was 1.5 hours longer than the outbound flight, perhaps because the jet stream winds are favorable only to eastbound flights. The flight crew doesn’t play any games to pass the time, like who can guess the time of the midpoint of the flight. The return flight midpoint was just northeast of Sacramento, CA. Also there’s no live “entertainment” like hula or singing, and no announcements of interest, e.g. “We have just reach the California coast,” or “Lake Ontario is visible on the right.” HAL refuels, resupplies, and changes crews and is back in the air for the return flight to Honolulu within hours. How many “cycles” before the A330 gets a rest? What a workhorse horse 🐎 the A330 is! Bravo.
Another great video, Dom. what a stunning view when taking off, makes me want to visit Hawaii 😊
Glad you enjoyed it. It is a great take off.
Very enjoyable video as always Dom…….thank you ✈
Many thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
Exited to try the new 787s when they come out 🥳🥳
What an unbelievable deal for such a long flight! Congratulations! I personally prefer more review, and less take off/landing footage, but that's just me.
Thank you! Your kind comments are what I personally have been aiming for and have definitely made strides towards a better balance in what you mention. Check out some of more recent reviews, i'd be very interested to hear your thoughts. thanks once again.
Great video Dom , and some Fantastic views on that flight
They were really great, glad you enjoyed it. 😁
Two outros for the price of one! Excellent video, Dom. It's been a few years since my visit to Honolulu (I flew via San Francisco back to the UK). I wonder if there'll ever be a direct flight from the UK to Hawaii? Air New Zealand maybe from Auckland via Honolulu? Or would BA give it a go?
Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it! I think if an airlines was ever going to attempt that it would have to be done with A350ulr's to which only 7 are in operation all with Singapore airlines. It would certainly be an interesting flight though.
I will defiantly be flying with Hawaiian Airlines after watching this video! They seem amazing!
You should! They are very good for an American carrier flying domestic.
Interestingly Hawaiian has gone for the 787 instead of the A330NEO. Personally I perfer the 330 with its 2 4 2 configuration.
A330 is a favourite of mine but I do also love the 787, it’s Boeings best aircraft currently
Did you do any other Hawaiian islands? It is definitely on my bucket list. Just need to work out what to do and where to go on the island/s
sorry i didn't go to any of the other islands on this trip. I hope you enjoy your trip it is a beautiful place.
What bag do you use for just hand baggage? Do you always use that even for Ryanair etc (smaller size required)
If you like I’ll make a video on the bag
Excellent service, busy flight. Curious Boeing 701? Great vlog 👍
Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it. Boeing 717 it is a small regional jet.
@@WorldWide_Dom Apologies 717. Used to be MD 95, narrow jet.
@@janinehawkins9565 Yes that's correct 😁 its an aircraft i really need to jump on at some point.
Hey Dom I'm really curious what bag do you carry and what do you carry in them? Personally I travel light too and I want to know how others do it. Cheers
I think I will have make a video on this in the future as I’ve had this question asked several times in the past. 😁
Awesome looking forward to it@@WorldWide_Dom
Of all the US carriers, Hawaiian is the closest it gets to being an impressive domestic/international brand when it comes to the overall cabin experience. I'm glad to have flown it domestic overseas (like on this video), inter-island and internationally (Honolulu to Auckland).

They have done very well and impressed me immensely. Would definitely fly Hawaiian Airlines again
Does flight 90 have WiFi? Important to know. Thanks.
Oh you actually did it! 😅 very nice
Did you think I was Joking? 🤣
Not at all 🤣 looks good though
@@Prettypony602 why do I then get the feeling you all were doubting if i would? 🤣🤣
I did once do the longest domestic train in the world Vladivostok to Moscow. Would you be up for that, whenever Russia becomes more accessible again of course.
Absolutely! Been wanting to do Moscow to Vladivostok for years now! My idea would be to take the train out then try all the different Russian airlines on the way back.
Always annoying when you can't get a coffee in the airport.
Agreed! I always need my morning coffee thankfully Hawaiian Airlines to the rescue in this case.
no coffee? first world problems :)
I know right!
