David! My husband and I met in that class the first year it was offered! 13 years ago! His pick up line was “Do you want to take an Institute class with me in the fall?” We’ve been married 12 years this month now!

I was at BYU earlier today -- not for the conference, but for the Brian Kershisnik exhibit at the BYU Museum of Art. I highly recommend it. Please attend if you are able! Education Week is awesome! It's such a treat to know that you are there. Soaking it all up! It's hard for some of us to get there. We will look forward to hearing some highlights from you later in the week.

You have to meet Dr. Joseph Price from the BYU Record Linking Lab! He will be presenting on "Linking the Human Family Together on the Family Tree" at 221 MARB at 8:30 each day. I used to work in a sister lab there on family history technology, and his work, his enthusiasm and his testimony are just amazing!!!

Let other's help you do the temple work for your family

Considering the OG endowment was like 3 hours long and now it can be done in approaching an hour dependant on how many folks there are... were 2/3rds of it totally unessesary/superfluous? I always wondered if I was not understanding it deeply enough or If the highly repetitionous language was simply... pointless.

Thanks for your example brother David! You were so helpful in my own conversion! Be a sponge and soak up all the knowledge you can!

there was a guy who was married to a Baptist. One time she came to BYU Education week, and was trying to find her Husband. He was trying to give her directions where to find him, and apparently she got frustrated, and said. "What do you want me to do? Shout Baptists Rule?!" He was like. "NO NO NO. I'll come find you!" 😄

You'll just have to watch the rest of his talk online, maybe don't a breakdown video. So if you'll be going to Conference from Layton, Frontrunner is a good option, though I suggest getting off at Temple Bridge Station, and taking the Green Trax from there.

Love Education Week! We couldn't attend the entire week, but will be there Friday for the closing day!

Was at the temple in the past weekend, I saw that change. I love it. More simple n straightforward.

You need to understand that when a new Ordinance Worker starts that individual does not start with total memorization of all the words said in any of the ordinances. Especially when that person has not been to the temple on a very regular basis. Please be patient.
