These false teachers love to throw out the verse Galatians 1:8 “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” This verse in Galatians was written somewhere in 48 AD. The concept of the trinity and many of the Creeds that these Christians actually believe were adopted officially in 325 AD during the Council of Nicaea. I would argue that the “different gospel” was the one adopted at the council of Nicaea. Much of what we know about the Church that Christ set up is in the Book of Acts and the letters that the Apostles wrote to the early church (Ephesians, Galatians, Corinthians, etc). There’s many truths discussed that the early church believed but were essentially lost until they were restored. For instance, 1 Corinthians 15:29, mentions baptism for the dead. 1 Pet. 3:18-20 speaks about Christ preaching to the spirits in prison. Acts 2:46, the saints met at the temple everyday! Why doesn’t your church build temples if it’s all throughout scripture and the early church went there? We also do not see hardly any denominations that lay on of hands to receive the Holy Ghost after baptism (described in Acts 8:14-19). Who really has the different gospel? These are just a few examples. These verses were understood when they were written because that was standard but now, they cannot be understood outside of the restored gospel because the church stopped teaching these truths during the great apostasy. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints does not teach a “different gospel” than the one that the apostles preached. It is the only church that is the same as the one that Christ established in the New Testament and has the authority, traced to Christ, to perform ordinances of salvation.

David, I have watched better than 50% of your videos over the past 14 months........could you address in a future video what were some of the specific examples of what blinded you for decades in your search for the true church that suddenly was lifted for you to suddenly embrace the RESORATION. Was it just the right timing with the sister missionaries to understand the Joseph Smith story and read the Book of Mormon with serious intent? Something else? Please elaborate what were the specific obstacles and then how they were lifted. Thanks in advance.

It's like they never read, "No man taketh this power unto themselves." and "They were called as was Aaron."

There were entire Christian congregations that joined the church when their pastor was introduced to the church and he then introduced his congregation…. John Taylor? I think?

Parley P. Pratt has an interesting comment in his "Autobiography of Parley P. Pratt" To paraphrase he compares the effect of poligamy on children compared with the modern practise of divorce on children. He describes polygamy as having a father who provides for all his children while the modern father often divorses his wife and abandons his children to be cared for by the charity of the State while he remarries and
    Creates a new family to
    Which he provides for.
Ofen this action is repeated with another divorse and remarriages and more abandoned children. The difference in the affect on the children is obvious in how they turn out.

Cessationism is in many Christian denominations or in other word miracles ceased with the New Testament apostles and Jesus finished his work mindset.

46:30. This is good to bring back.
Had thought well of "apostle" Mike Bickle 6-8 years ago. Sad to learn of his trouble regarding the International House of Prayer, Kansas City, MO.
26:28. They believe in a "loving" God that created everyone else for no other reason than their torment in hell.
    Rameumtum!
    43:30. Just a different restaurant.
