When I was baptized I sent my mother a Book of Mormon to her. Sent missionaries, and nothing ever came of it. We ended living together. She told me she was happy with her church. I told her I always feed the missionaries so my boys have male examples(priesthood). Well, she couldn’t help liking them. She started taking lessons.(all on her own). She ended in hospital for shoulder replacement. I stayed out of it. But I asked the missionaries how she doing. Her preacher came in and said the bom was of the devil. And she stopped lessons. I said nothing.a while later her and I was at a beauty palor at Walmart. While I sat there I spotted the missionaries coming out of walmart(Monday) I called to them waving hello. They came in passing me up and surrounded my mom(great love) she felt the spirit very strong. Told her to get baptized. She went on the temple before she passed over. Heavenly Father (Holy Ghost) helped me. He can go where I cannot. ❤❤❤

My husband was a rabid anti “Mormon” for years. He was a cadet at The United States Military Academy. He met some members of the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS who became his classmates, and he really respected these young adults. He read the Book of Mormon to prove it wrong and ended up having a special experience with Jesus Christ. He found the missionaries and was baptized just a couple of weeks later.
God had a cosmic timetable, I’m thankful you found the blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Your testimony and perspective are so inspiring! ❤️☀️

I was born into the Catholic Church, baptized a an infant by my great uncle Leo. But some of their beliefs gave me pause. I had questions. As a meddle schooler, I ran into other kids of other religions. They invited me to theirs. I went. They had. Lot of smiling kids but the house was empty. I never went back. I went to live with my dad. He joined the LDS. He invited me. I went … I met a short white haired old man(greeter)with a very strong hands. He asked me questions(friendly). He let me go. I went into the foyer. No people(early) there was NO one. But the house was full. I had the strong feeling that I finally came home. The chapel was sacred and it was filled. I was converted and I wanted to be baptized. The missionaries came and they answered ALL my questions. It was wonderful. Life made sense. The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church. No man can change that because God/Jesus Christ let me know the absolute truth. I am glad you found the truth.

When The Spirit talks, all phobia goes away. When I was a missionary, we taught our first discussion to an Evangelical woman who recognized the Book of Mormon when we presented it. We told her it was not our Bible, that we also believed in the Bible, and that this book was another Testament of Jesus Christ in the ancient Americas and started to explain, when she suddenly interrupted us and said: I know that very book, because, we used to have a pastor in our church that we loved very much and one day he came up and stood at the pulpit and said that he could no longer be there as our pastor because he had prayed about this book and received the answer that it was true and showed us that same blue book you have there and said..."and I need to follow Him where he needs me and left. He just left our church after being our pastor for years". I testify this is a true story. It's gotta be hard to leave all those misconceptions and phobia behind, but big shout out to all of you true Christians who have found out The true Restored Gospel in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Grew up knowing of the church from my mom and grandmother. Missionaries knocked on my grandmas door when she was little girl maybe 12-13 years old and she knew then it was true. She didn't join til years later and has been a active strong member since. My mother struggled getting us boys to church and we wouldn't stay active long. I didn't gain a testimony til I was 25 years. Never ever planned on serving a mission. But God had other plans for me. Ended up being able to serve a mission in the Jackson Mississippi mission on the cut off date as well. One more week I wouldn't have made the cut to go in my youth but again the lord had other plans for me then I realized. My mission was the best thing I ever did. I since have falling less active for the last three years. The past few weeks I've been diving in the scriptures and talks and the spirit as been smacking me in the face. 😅
I know the lds church is gods true church on the earth today. Working on coming back. I need to return to the temple. My heart calls for it.

My conversion into the church of JESUSCHRIST OF LATTER-DAYS was a miraculous intersection by GOD HIMSELF. Raised liberal catholic ( not any difference really with world practices), then joined Baptist people but then I recieved the personal Revelation by God Himself. I found later that my dad( which I did not grow up with him) had made a serious covenant with God about his kids. Being later batized into the church was the more unspeakable joy and fullness of happiness and understanding of the things as they really are. Being in the missionary work I saw the more amazing miracles and the power of the Holy Ghost bestow on people. Until today I see an endless blessings of the restored Priesthood of God over and over again on the earth. " For from Jerusalem will go out the word and from Zion will come out the Law"

Thank you David for your wonderful testimony and for studying the Bible so sincerely and thoroughly that you were prepared for when you found the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints. You remind me a lot of my father who joined the LDS church was a Catholic and he learned the Catholics had lost the line of priesthood authority, he found it says this right in the Catholic encyclopedia at about 321 AD didn't know who had the authority anymore. And, all the other Christian churches are break offs of the Catholic Church doing their own things that they feel is right but having no authority from God to do the saving ordinances in the correct way necessary to be able to return to live in the presence of God the father and his son Jesus Christ. These saving ordinances seal our families together for eternity. I have been so blessed by my father joining the church. I am so very grateful for his sincere desire to find the truth as you have done. Keep sharing your knowledge with the world!

My fear of going g to hell took over...why would so many b against it if it were so good...I listened and believed until my observation s told me something wasn't right...the contrast between what I heard and what I saw got me curious and asking questions....anytime someone sees I'm lds they have to say something negative. ..recently I was told about the oaths we make in the temple to consecrate our li es to God by serving and helping others and paying g tithes..he made it sound so evil...first thing I thought of was the good Samaritan and the widows mite...it's rediculous..

Thank you for your continued efforts to share your testimony and to kindly invite others to sincerely learn for themselves, with God's help, about the wonderful restoration of His full gospel and church.) The dichotomy between a person's testimony of Jesus Christ, and non Latter-day Saint christianity also contributes to the the position that many good people assume. They want to be true to their testimony, and when disappointed with their search for the full gospel they feel will satisfy, they state that they are religious, or spiritual, but don't believe in the need for organized religion.

Thank you David! I remember as a child imagining a body-less God----so grand he could fill the universe, yet a God who could fill the spaces between the pebbles and grains of sand. I'm not even sure where I learned that , as I only remember going to Vacation Bible School! I do remember staring at the pebbles and sand trying to imagine God! As Jeffery R, Holland said in this video---Incomprehensible!
As a child, I remember crying because I thought I was going to "go to the Devil" What a thought...! I was the oldest of 6 children. That's when my mom and dad had us start praying "Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep; if I should live another day, I pray the Lord to guide my way. God bless Daddy, Mommy...and on down the line. Blessing on the food was "God is great God is good, let us thanks him for our food. Amen"
It wasn't until I was in grade 11 and the "Mormon" missionaries came to teach us, that I learned who I was really praying to, who His Son Jesus Christ was and who the Holy Ghost was.
    Amen! ❤

The Father, and The Son, and The Holy Ghost are three seperate and distinct devine personages. If one can just gain a testimony alone of that one correct biblical teaching, then one can rule out as false all the numerous man made churches that hold to the none biblical teachings of creedal Christianity, which by a study of history shows that such ultered teachings were formed and enforced in the councils of nonbiblical teatchhers centuries after the teachings of Christ and his apostles, and which were not held, believed or taught in the original Church of Jesus Christ in the meridian of times. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a restoration of the true and original biblical doctrine of the Godhead, as taught by Christ and His Apostles in the original Church of Jesus Christ. The true nature of the Godhead has been restored in The Church of Jesus Christ in these Latter-days, the dispensation of the fullness of times, and are known and enjoed one again by the Saints of the Our Lord's only true and living church.

2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
4 Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.

I've been trying to converse with christians online and it's really staggering how unwilling they are to have even a normal conversation. I try my best to be really loving and kind in tone and speech, but their defenses are up and they won't come down, even if I'm doing nothing but listen and ask sincere questions, with no intention of debate or even persuasion of any kind. I suppose introspection of one's religion is a potentially existentially scary thing. Afterall, their eternal welfare is on the line, their peers and neighbors and family would all reject them. So what do we do about that? How do we decrease that anxiety, dispel the lies, build trust?

"I don't think that's where his interest is."
Ok understandable but Brother Alexander mentioned the 47,500 Christian denominations around the world. I have read that before on my own but I can't remember if that number includes the groups that broke away from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints or not. Hence my question of why he didn't mention the...how to classify them all in one category without being disrespectful?...the "LDS breakaway groups". So I wonder if he knows about them or not and, if he doesn't, maybe that's why he didn't mention them!? Idk. I'm just curious is all. I don't mean Brother Alexander nor anyone else any disrespect. Just curious.
"Have you seen David Boyce's channel 52 Churches In 52 Weeks?"
I have watched some of his videos but I have yet to go through the entirety of them. Anyway I do remember Brother Boyce talking about the "LDS breakaway groups" but, as I recall, it was only like surface level stuff with all of them that they also believed in the Book of Mormon and were very friendly, warm and welcoming. That's all I recall though about those parts of his videos. His details did not seem to go deeper than that which kind of disappointed me for a while but I got over it and it is his prerogative to go as deep as he wants to.
"That's a better place for that kind of exploration."
Hmmm. Ok. I guess, then, I will need to watch all of Brother Boyce's videos to see if I can get any deeper insights into the "LDS breakaway groups". Thanks.

"Mormonphobia can apply to them- but this is a channel focused on the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints."
      "Mormonphobia can apply to them-..."
Um, ok. By "...them" I am guessing you are talking about the groups that broke away from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints? If yes, ok. And how do you mean "Mormonphobia can apply to them-..."? That those who don't know the truth about the Church, whether they are members, former members or never were members, are or can be very fearful of Mormons and of Mormonism? Or what do you mean by that? Just trying to understand what you are saying here. Thanks.
"...but this is a channel focused on the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints."
Yes, I know and understand that. However it doesn't necessarily mean not at least lightly touching upon what I term to be the "LDS breakaway groups". But, of course, it's up to Brother Alexander if he wants to mention them or not. I am just curious is all. I mean no disrespect to anyone. Take care.
