Did you know Leonard Nimoy was a Jew? And the hand sign with separated fingers which he is so well known for was his own way of adding to his charachter of Spock. It is actually a Jewish symbol of Live Long and Prosper from the very ancient Jewish text. I had no idea and to see it today with your guest reminded me of it. I'll find the episode for you and post.

They do not divulge anything that should not be discussed. It is reverent and accurate and anyone who has been to the temple will recognize the information as accurate and true. I don't agree that there are no prophecies of the First Vision in the Bible, you have Joel 2: 28, repeated by Peter in Acts 2: 17, adding that it will be fulfilled in the "Last Days". And because Peter said that it would happen in the Last Days on the Day of Pentecost, it couldn't be fulfilled on that day because of the outpouring of the Holy Ghost, for starters Peter said it after the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. One of the lesser known accounts of the First Vision, given to a small group of family and close friends, and from a second hand source, Joseph Smith Jr. says his eyes were anointed before he could see the Father and Jesus Christ.

He speaks of His believers. Jesus speaks of His church, nothing, not even Satan can remove His church, it says in the Bible declares Peter is the foundation of the church, Matt 16;18 "I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it." And the Lord's church has never faltered, ever, it has always been, the gospel has always been, Gods word is forever, and it is unchangeable. All we need is His word and His will. we do not need mediators on earth, we have Jesus. Nothing is more concrete; all we have to do is know Him.
The doctrines of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints are the most biblical of any Christian faith, those that say otherwise do not know our doctrines only the lies misinformation and twisted embellished crumbs of doctrine taken out of context and or have not studied the Bible.
