This was such a beautiful testimony and as the mother of a very large family I’m so inspired by your grandfather! He is truly an angel!!! I’m guessing your grandmother was busy cooking the meals and caring for the house, especially with fewer modern conveniences back then. ❤
Been less active for the past 3+ years. Been reading the scriptures for the first time in years starting a month ago and been having a burning desire and need to get to the temple. Thank you sir for this video and all your content your share. You help so many of us rekindle that burning desire to keep to the straight and narrow and grip the iron rod again. Thank you so much 🙏❤️❤️excited to hear the new endowments and I gotta call my bishop and get things in order. Thank so much.
Thank you, David🎉 I love your testimony, heart, and love for Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit, and the gospel 🙏 I know you said you have been waiting for 48 years to find it. Heavenly Father was refining you to be able to do His work at the right time, right place, and the time is now! How amazing and blessed you are to only live 5 minutes from the temple. I would be there all day long! It is exciting about the new change! I can't wait to go! Thank you for sharing your testimony and your talents of playing the guitar and singing ❤ You are blessed.
I have been going to Temples since 1969 and have seen several changes. I was greatly impressed last week as I experienced the new endowment but your excitement for it has made me appreciate it even better. I have been an ordinance worker in different temples and the more I attend the Temple the more I want to attend the Temple.
I’ve finally returned to the church after being inactive for 6+ years. I went to the temple for the first time in years yesterday and did an endowment session, it was beautiful. I’m so glad to be back with the true gospel of Jesus Christ! ❤️ Also, this is my first video I’ve seen on your channel, you have a beautiful testimony, and are truly inspirational! You’ve earned a subscriber! Much love, and God bless you, brother! ❤️
I came across your name when it was mentioned in the comment section of a Dave Butler interview on The Stick of Joseph video and I had to see who was this incredible David was that they mentioned and I found this video! I’m so glad I listened to the spirit when it said to go find you! Thank you for your Incredible testimony I have loved going to the House of the Lord and listening to your experience was wonderful! I’m so excited to live in a time where we get to witness the Lord working miracles in our lives today. Thank you for sharing your love for the Lord and your ancestors!
@@nawnaw1749 interesting that you throw around "brainwashing" when nothing about this comment indicates brainwashing at all. Unless you're referring to my whole life of which you know absolutley nothing and thus aren't informed enough to make any judgment. The big problem with claiming anyone to be brainwashed is that you don't seem to be following any of the procedures or models for determining if that is indeed the case. If you wish to better understand what brainwashing actually is instead of explaining away what you don't understand with just a random buzzword, I recommend that you research a few things like the BITE model, and the many published papers regarding the brainwashing techniques of communist China. That should give you a frame of reference to learn what it actually means to be brainwashed. Until then you're stuck labeling behaviors found in every social group as "brainwashing" just because you you don't like one specific group. Hope this helps, my friend!
Currently working on getting my temple recommend back so that I can spend time in the House of the Lord again, and now I'm extra motivated. Godspeed, David.
I've been struggling with my attitude in the Gospel. My testimony is strong. But my faith in humanity has been dashed through the years. And with it, my desire to help and love others have tremendously been impeded. Listening to your joyous praise and humble love for the Gospel and your ancestors is a reminder of how my attitude will ultimately get me nowhere. I'm going to the temple tomorrow and will be thinking of your wonderful comments. Thank you.
We are so privileged and blessed to Focus on Christ. He is always the answer. Remember Peter walked on water watching Jesus. When we take our eyes off Jesus we sink to bottom of ocean. Ether 2:24-25. We are whales being bashed by waves. In verse 25 Jesus says, what would you want me to do? Ask me to get the light. Best of luck and blessings.
My faith is in Christ not in humanity. I hope yours is too. Love you. 2 Ne 4:34 "O Lord, I have trusted in thee, and I will trust in thee forever. I will not put my trust in the arm of flesh; for I know that cursed is he that putteth his trust in the arm of flesh. Yea, cursed is he that putteth his trust in man or maketh flesh his arm."
I'm an ordinance worker in the Ogden temple, my coordinator called and asked me to attend a session Tuesday to prepare to officiate. Like David, I was so thrilled, and felt the time is hastening. I also understand why President Nelson told us to be taking our vitamins, and preparing. To be able to perform 2 sessions in such a short time is wonderful. I'm so grateful for our dear prophet. I'm also grateful that you David were led to find the church.
I'm an ordinance worker in Saratoga Springs. I heard about it on my shift. They've asked up not to talk about it and let people see it for themselves and learn from the spirit. I'll see it soon.
I live in Ogden, and attend that temple, usually the second Friday evening each month with my wife. We probably see each other occasionally. God bless you for your service.
Do you think we will ever be able to do more than one name at a time like they do baptisms? Since so much more is doesn't in the mind instead of actions?
@ I think it’s possible. But keep in mind that every individual is baptized for. It’s just that the ordinance of baptism takes much less time than the endowment. So although I think it’s possible, I don’t think it’s likely to ever take place. I think it’s important to perform ordinances one by one. But I could totally be wrong on that.
Small world. I lived in Layton for 13 years, but moved to Mississippi, I could see Moroni on the Layton temple from my bathroom window. Sooo excited to get a temple, then we moved 😢 but, they get you. Sorry, I haven't watched this yet, I was excited to hear someone lived in Layton.
David there are Millions of us in the Church we can help you. Just reach out and you will find all the HELP you will ever need. Love You So Much Brother, Please don't get Overwhelmed ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I just barely got out of the Taylorsville Temple doing an Endowment session with my daughter, and I was blown away by the session. I couldn't stop bawling throughout. I feel just like you that the session (and the Temple) was made just for me! I've never seen one of your videos before and was blown away to see it when I came back home and it was the first video UA-cam suggested for me. Thank you for sharing your powerful testimony! I know that we do not know one another, but my daughters and I would like to help you with Temple work if you would like. We're trying to get my son his endowment as well. Thank you for being such a powerful witness of our brother and Savior Jesus Christ!
David, your testimony is reaching 10's of thousands, and you are performing an amazing work for our God. You are teaching, inspiring, and strengthening the church membership and also bringing many back. I am so thankful for having found you in UA-cam (and spending 2 hours with you in your home!) You are doing God's work. May you continue to be blessed! BTW when you do your family's work, they are so incredibly happy because you have given them power and they use that power to watch over and bless you from the other side. Everything goes better for us because of our temple service.
While listening to your video David I could feel the spirit. I’m so happy for you because you’re pretty much just starting out in the true gospel. It’s beautiful to see your excitement and hear your testimony. You will be such an encouragement to so many and your loved ones will be blessing your name beyond the veil. God bless you. ❤️
My wife and I also had the pleasure of attending the Hamilton NZ Temple on the first day of the "new" Endowment, and were also similarly "blown away" by its power and focus miraculously presented in a shorter timespan. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful experience and testimony.
I attended an endowment session with my dear wife last Friday in Orem. I silently prayed during the entire session that they would make the presentation shorter so there would not be so much repetition and more temple work could be done for more people. And then it happened this week! I loved your testimony of your grandfather David. I too am the only Latter Day Saint in my extended family, so far. We are scheduled for another session in Draper this Saturday. It feels like He did it just for me also! That's who He is, Jesus Christ.
I’m still new to the Temple & I hated it. The Gospel is easy for me to understand but the Temple is complexed for my own understanding. I’ve been praying to understand & just before the first adjustments something bothered me for the first time. Why is this being aloud in the Lords house? Do I talk to the Bishop or Stake President about it. No because I got into it with the Bishop before & proved him wrong. We must listen to the Lord & follow Him. I took my conserns to Heavenly Father & a month later I heard there was some adjustments. I decided to go back & the things that bothered me was removed. I can’t remember what they were but I feel the Lord was preparing me for what’s to come. The adjustments where probably in the process before I even prayed about it. I was glad those things were removed but I still have a hard time understanding. I haven’t been back for 3yrs & maybe these adjustments will make it more enjoyable for me that I will finally understand. I’ve had neat experiences going to the Temple to know it’s the house of the Lord but I was confussed with the ordinances. I’m now looking forward of going back.
David you're soo inspiring, such an amazing example with an awesome testimony. I recently started doing temple work for my deceased ancestors and it is such a wonderful experience. Keep it up brother, thanks for your posts!!! ❤
I enjoy you immensely, your enthusiasm your infectious testimony, you strengthen my testimony, keep up the good work, I understand THE WORK YOU 'VE GOT AHEAD, I moved into Apple Valley, CA 4 YRS AGO and the Spirit did not leave me alone until I started doing what I had to do about my genealogy. You will feel fantastic about doing for others, that which can't do for themselves. GOD BLESS YOU MY BROTHER
David, thank you for bearing your testimony. So beautiful! I too am a convert and can relate to what you are experiencing. I have so many ancestors who need their work done. I want to help as many as I am able before I take my last breath. It is my mission and sweet joy to be able to be proxy for them. Heavenly Father is so good and he is mindful of each and every one of us. 💜
God bless you sweet brother. I am in the exact same boat. I recently moved, because my husband of almost 35 yrs divorced me out of the blue. He was a bishop and in stake presidency and knows better than to be distracted like he became and stepped off the path and is no longer active. I live 15 minutes from my temple. I too feel the pressure, as being the only member in my entire family too. I am so relieved the endowment has shortened. I have felt the love from family members on the other side supporting me along the way. It’s all so beautiful.

Thank you for your testimony! The first I heard about the changes was in a Facebook thread full of anti Mormon comments. But this video made my day! And brought me to tears! May the Lord bless this channel and the work you put into it!
HOORAY FOR ISRAEL!! HIP, HIP, HOORAY!!! Love your enthusiasm for the Temple work for our ancestors. I'm determined to get going on my own ancestors because of your enthusiasm. It's quite contagious. Thank you so much, David. You're a true Treasure for most Saints. Much appreciation for your inspiration. I continue to remember you in my prayers. 🙏♥️🙏♥️🙏
I'm a temple worker in another state. I also participated in an endowment yesterday. My reaction was similar to yours. I'm the only member in my family and sometimes the work does seem overwhelming. My first thought was a testimony that we belong to a church with a living prophet who receives continued revelation. Should we be surprised? I was raised never meeting my father, who was also born in Kentucky. I also lived in Tumwater WA. Incidentally your grandfather is the husband of my 12th cousin once removed. The spirit of Elijah is real! There is power in temple covenants! Best Wishes on your continued journey and thank you for your testimony!
My mom who married my dad and adopted me when I was four years old… She and her family had a farm in Tumwater when she was a teenager… When she was 13 she was plowing the north 40 with a team of draft horses. When she met my dad at 26 and started dating him she was living with her parents in a house on Ruby Street in Tumwater. My uncle lived in Tumwater on the other side of the street and he was a brewmaster for Olympia brewing company. The Tumwater connection yeah that’s what I’m talking about…
I have been waiting for this for a long time. I knew the day would come when it would get shorter. There was a lot that was not essential to the actual ordinances of the covenants. Yes, it was teaching us many things, but we also learn those things at church.
David-thank you so much for sharing your gratitude, your testimony and your enthusiasm! I made an appt to go to the temple immediately after listening to you. It’s certainly not 5 minutes away for us, and I’ve had serious health problems, but thank you for giving me the faith and courage to go anyway. I’m a convert also -still on fire with my testimony after almost 41 yrs. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is soooo amazing!
The refinement is so inspired!! I, too, feel overwhelmed by the work that needs to be done. Heavenly Father know this and is helping and encouraging us.
Thanks for sharing, David! Those loved ones who are waiting for their Temple ordinance work to be completed, become angels from God who will stand with you to help you recognize you are not alone in getting their work completed. Feeling overwhelmed is common for many of us, especially when we feel alone. You are no longer alone! Your grandfather can now stand with you with greater love. He now has Priesthood power to lay his hands on your head and give you the Priesthood blessings you long for from one of your family members. Happy Day!
One of the greatest beauties of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is it's miraculous ability to cater to us individually even to the point that we feel as if it was meant only for us. Only Heavenly Father could construct such an amazing plan. Great post brother.
I am the only member in my family on both sides for generations. I too am doing work for my ancestors. I too was taken care of by my grandparents. Thank you for this testimony. I needed to hear this.
Genealogy work is very addicting but in a good way 😂❤ I have been a member of the church for almost 26 years and I am a convert. So you can imagine how much work we have to do. It is an amazing feeling to do temple work and then seal them all as a family. Imagine how many people will meet us when we get on the other side! We try to go to any temple we pass by when we travel. Preston, England was my first temple. Frankfurt, Germany was my second, Friberg, Germany was third ... We were in Stockholm, Sweden, Kyiv, Ukraine (special place), lots of temples in USA.... Thankful for the blessings of the temple ❤ PS - the key is to find balance. Don't burn yourself down, use good judgement 🙏❤️
Thank you for your Spirit-filled video! My husband and I are temple workers in the Sacramento CA Temple and we love the inspired focus of the endowment on our Savior too! 🙏🏼💖💖🙏🏼 Had to look it up: I am a 9th cousin 2 removed to your grandmother.❤
Remember my friend and brother, you can get help doing the temple work for your ancestors by many of us, whether here, or in your ward, etc. Much love, Mark
Yes, don’t stress over it. It will never be finished in this life and we will have joy doing it in the millenium. Thank you so much for sharing that special experience with your grandfather.
Yes brother. All FamilySearch names we personally discover, the redemptive work for them could always be "shared" with "The Temple." But this shortened " *_triple distilled_* " format appears to be a quantum leap forward for the hastening of The entire Work, before His Second Coming !!! Hosannah!
@NanasHealthyKitchen ya and if you need help with women especially 🎉 love you brother. I wish I could just sing with you but I don't know the songs you do
I noticed the beauty and clarification and time savings of the changed session as well, but you describe this so sincerely, passionately and so appreciatively that I’m hoping you continue these humble, loving videos! You have a great gift that inspires many! Don’t stop!❤
I live in Jackson County Missouri and We have the Kansas City Temple. There's a lot of church history here and I'm so grateful that I was able to go to the new endowment session This last Thursday I'm a full-time caregiver for my mom who is bedridden and So it's hard for me Leave But when a sister steps in to watch my mom My husband and I went and did a session and it was absolutely beautiful. I am so excited because I feel like the shorter session is more doable for me. But like you said, I felt a certain power that I've never felt before and I'm just so excited to go back. Thank you so much for sharing your testimony. It had me in tears
Thank you for sharing your sweet family history story about your beloved grandfather. Your love and enthusiasm lift me every time I listen to you. Amen, the Lord has heard your prayers and knows your heart. Bless you!
I'm on vacation in Samoa and my daughter and I just finished doing an Endowment session, because of our limited Samoan, we both commented how powerful and short the session felt, now we know why from listening to your comments. Thank you for your Videos, We love them. Coming to you from Temple View, Hamilton, New Zealand
This makes me remember how my grandparents used to go and spend the day in the temple once a month. It was 4 and a half hours one way. They would leave early in the morning, do some work, eat lunch at the temple, do more work, then drive home. They would have gotten a lot more done. I am thankful for the temple, my ancestors, and the blessings that we have received.
You are correct about how your grandparents could have gotten so much more done then, but that wasn't the point at that time. The point at that time was to build a habit of attending the temple and teaching their children and grandchildren to do the same. NOW is the time to step and do more because the Savior's return is nigh! Imagine how grateful your grandparents are to you for watching and learning from them and now being able to partake in this great work!
Hi David, I feel exactly the same way as you do. Thank you for sharing. I too have many ordinances to complete and I love my ancestors. I was endowed in January 2024 and I am 68 years old.
I think it's great that you're so close to the temple. A brother in my ward converted in college and is in his seventies now. He is also in your position of doing his own genealogy and temple work. He approached me and asked if I would be willing to help him out. This wasn't something I was praying for but it has been a great blessing for me to help him out. I try to go once a month but this has offered me greater focus because I don't want to let him down. So, pray about it and see if the Lord can give you a helping hand
Just came in from the garden and am cutting up peppers and tomatoes, and found you posted! I might as well be cutting onions. ;) This is beautiful! We have appointments for tomorrow and Friday, so now I'm extra excited to go. I love the way you shared your photos and family story which shows just how deeply you love all of them. Hooray for such a special experience today with your Granddaddy Bobby Lee Alexander! 🥰 For me, a shorter session means I can go more. My health has made longer appointments difficult. We would go to perform initiatories and sealings more because of the time. It is absolutely wonderful. I'm so happy you are so close to the House of the Lord, and that you are so dedicated to go there to not only worship but also make that love you have for your family Full through His Gospel, Covenants, and Power. I am so happy I thought to look for a video and found yours! Thank you so much for continuing to share and for your light and wonderful example to me! Your Sister & Friend in Christ, Marie (~plaid)
It’s so much fun to watch your progression! Isn’t it a thrilling experience to do this work! We know that this is a vital work of the Lord given as a Blessing to His family, so that we all could eventuality be sealed together with our covenant ancestors, going even back to Adam and the time when Adam rolls up the scroll and declares “the work is done” and he places the scroll in Jesus’ arms, who will report to The Father that the Work is finished upon the Earth, and it’s now time to prepare the Earth in Celestial Glory! Keep on dear brother, we still have a long way to go, to the finish line!
I am in the same situation! Only active member doing temple work and a convert also! Just found a 3rd cousin (just me and my mom joined the church from my original family) I never knew I had who is a member after I prayed for God to raise someone up to help me! And I found he and his wife ❤ who will be helping me…my dad was not a member and loved family history work and left me 20,000 names!! So I have felt that “how on earth” can I ever get this all done and JUST last week thought the same thing how can we get all this work done when it takes so long…wow and He heard!!
Thank you Brother…I love you right back. I’m touched by this video, and am grateful to hear your family story. No family situation is perfect…but you did have a mom that loved you, and a stepmom who did the same. Your father was a part of your life, and your grandfather was there to help raise you as a little guy. That’s beautiful.
I did an endowment yesterday and today and was very, very moved by the clarity of this charity directly to each of us. I too experienced the wonder that it was a direct gift for all who desire to hasten His work for those we love. So beautiful 🤍🤍 So personal! Love this video!!
WOW!!! What a powerful testimony of the NEW ENDOWMENT! Thank you so very much! I too am a senior and live in Rexburg, Idaho, five minutes from the temple and really enjoyed all the newness yesterday, Tuesday, 13 August, of the Endowment! It is indeed very powerful and so nice to have it shorter and more to the point of the Atonement! As a matter of fact, the shorter time allowed me to go do Initiatory between the three Endowments that I did for my own family! And I agree with other comments that you might consider sharing a lot of your own family temple work with the temple to get more done sooner and relieve any frustrations on your part of having so much to do all by yourself! I too am alone in doing any temple work for my family and have shared a lot with the temple and it gets done rather quickly and I don't feel guilty for not getting it all done myself! Thank you again for this beautiful time of sharing and may Heavenly Father, Jesus and the Spirit continue to bless you! 🙂
Truly, through the sacred ordinances of the holy temple, we naturally turn our hearts to our dead ancestors; and their hearts are turning to ours in mortality. I have felt the power and the love of this sacred work.
David, As a new ordinance worker in the Bountiful Temple I am humbled and touched by your joy and conviction of the Temple, and of the new Endowment Ceremony. As I understand it, the purpose for the change was exactly as you described it. Your voice and testimony is appreciated and effective. Thank you so much for sharing your faith and joy in the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. -Brian
You should grab your Elder's quorum and do a temple night just for your family names! I live 5 minutes from the Orem Temple and I serve as an organist in the chapel every other Wednesday. I take family names and do initiatories or an endowment afterwards. It's such a blessing to serve in the temple!
Your ancestors on the other side are so happy and thrilled you are doing their work! They are close to you now. You have an army of support beyond the veil and they will help you in times of trouble.
Thank you for your profound comment. It helped me remember how I feel when my ancestors beyond the veil "visit" and "tell" me of the joy we will share when we are soon reunited.
I needed this. I have been struggling feeling like God has forgotten our eternal family. I have had two husbands pass away in 2013 of cancer and 2023 in an ATV accident. I can’t tell you the pain!! The kids don’t believe in God and I feel alone. I feel I need to go to the temple again. Thank u! Love the song!
I am the only one active in my family. I too have felt alone. For me , attending the temple has taken away that lonely feeling. What a blessing awaits us ❤
Hi David, In England we go to the temple a week at a time and spend all day in the temple. It is an amazing experience. I once spent 5 weeks in the temple ( on vacation in Utah). I did the full work for 72 people! Hard work but so healing!
Brother Alexander, it is a tender mercy and blessing to provide proxy ordinances for entire family groups. More than once I've filled an ordinance session with my departed love ones and felt their presence. You will feel a profound sense of joy and rejoicing as you provide opportunities for parents and children to attend their proxy ordinances together in the temple.
I have been going every Wednesday evening and lately been doing ancestors from 1200-1600. Several times a have been privileged to feel their presence. What a blessing to have the privilege of doing this great work for your ancestors.
I recently did an initiatory for one of my husbands ancestors. She was born in 1689! I could feel her presence very clearly and her happiness was tangible. I can’t wait to go back and help her receive her endowment
We LOVE the Temple, too! Not to boast, but wait until you are a temple worker and spend all day there. Magnificent! My wife & I would do round-robin endowment services in Kansas City while we were there. Six at a time. It is glorious. I completely sense the feeling you had of being overwhelmed. Our 4 kids are active members but only a few are able to do regular temple work. We have all our ancestry to cover, as well. I've printed 100's of cards. Not sure when they will get done. Fortunately we will have a new temple within a couple of years about 4 miles from our house, so it will literally be capable of living a day at a time IN THE TEMPLE !! Much love from Wichita, KS -- Bill & Cathy Laughlin P.S. Cathy says "Come visit!"
Temple work will keep you out of mischief 😂. What a wonderful way to live! I am 3 1/2 hours away from the nearest temple! I hope and pray to meet you in a temple one day!
Just found your channel and watched and immediately felt your sweet spirit. It truly made me want to do better in my own life and of course go back to the temple!! I think it's soo neat the Spirit about temple work that has touched you so deeply. It's truly amazing how the Spirit works. It's very humbling 😊 I loved hearing about your family and sweet grandad.... ❤ Keep up this great work and inspiring us out here listening 😁 you are making many people's day on the other side 👍🏼❤️💙
Sandy, you should check out some of David's earlier videos when he was defending the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints before he had even decided to be baptized 😊 They are amazing. And his conversion story video. It's so heartwarming and inspiring.
Love your testimony of the temple. You know, you don't have to do this by yourself! Take a friend, family member, or ward member with you to do the endowment work.
Brother Alexander, you are a truly amazing brother. I don’t even know you but I love you to the core. I listened to your conversion story and now this!! You made me cry with tears of joy. I love your testimony… thank you for not being afraid to share. God continue to bless you as you progress in the gospel. You’re a hero in my eyes… love, your sister in Christ. Jacquie Judd .
You cannot do all the temple work on your own. You are a convert to the church, but you have a ward, stake and church family that can help yo do this marvelous work.
I am JELOUS! I would die to live 5 minutes from the temple (any temple). I would love to be able to do temple work my family for 8hrs in the temple. WHAT A MARVELOUS BLESSING!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤ i've done 150 ordinances for my ancestors since June. The "temple ready" part of Ancestors is Ssssssoooo wonderful!!! I have 95% of 9 generations done. But there are hundreds of cousins to do. I'm so happy that we are engaged in this work.
David, I, too, am a convert. Just take one name at a time. I have done thousands of family members over the 64 years that I have been a member. And most of the time, we lived hours from the temple. You are blessed to live so close to a temple, now. You are a wonderful example to others. I love you and your darling personality. I hope that my husband and I can meet you someday.
Thank you for sharing your message and testimony! I have not been to the temple for a while because of my physical limitations. But with this new change, I feel I will be able to attend more often now, in spite of any physical challenges. I did not come across your video clip today by accident… I believe the Lord wanted me to see this! He truly does know our needs! Thank you, again - and may God bless!♥️
Thank you for sharing....my friend works in the St. George temple, she sent me a text yesterday about the changes in the endowment and that I was going to love it
The St. George Temple is our Temple, too. I got my endowment and was sealed to my family there, as well as being sealed as a child to my parents and brothers…that was just a few years ago…😊 It’s such a beautiful, holy, peaceful place.
I love your testimony. I love being in the temple. I did not know it changed again. Now I want to go. I to am doing it alone. Only member in my family. I am native american and I am stuck with geneology. I only got as far as my grandparents & cannot go pass them because i dont know their parents name & no one in my family will help. I know they are there waiting for their to be done. I feel thrm in the temple. I wish my family would help.
@@gingerwilliams6249 Perhaps your ward has a family history specialist who can help you research and find your grandparents? Do your parents have birth records? Sorry if these are things you have already considered. I just wonder if there is help for you that you may not have considered.
You touched my heart. Thank you for your faith. It shines.
I’m so happy for you!! This is a decision you’ll never regret. ❤
Best of luck to you brother!
Don’t just call the bishop. Call everyone close to you.
I love you brother. It's difficult to be awake among so many asleep spiritually. Be the Light. I'm so grateful for your example!
I agree! The endowment does have a lot more power to it and I love it!
Also, this is my first video I’ve seen on your channel, you have a beautiful testimony, and are truly inspirational! You’ve earned a subscriber!
Much love, and God bless you, brother! ❤️
Thanks, Darrin!
I'm sitting here crying tears of gratitude and feeling moved by the Spirit you invited through sharing your testimony. Thank you. ❤
This is the kind of testimony that the world needs and that will preserve nations and generations.
Well said, thank you for this wise statement!
Good on you! Stay the course. All the choicest of God’s blessings on your journey back.
Got mine back a couple of months ago! Hang in there and God be with you!
Me to. On this train.
Praying for you!
Love you.
2 Ne 4:34
"O Lord, I have trusted in thee, and I will trust in thee forever. I will not put my trust in the arm of flesh; for I know that cursed is he that putteth his trust in the arm of flesh. Yea, cursed is he that putteth his trust in man or maketh flesh his arm."
@@joannenardoni17Great answer. Love it!
@@cowboypatriotWell said. Thank you.
They've asked up not to talk about it and let
people see it for themselves and learn from the spirit. I'll see it soon.
I believe that it a way of hastening the work of the Lord.
I am deeply touched by your fervent testimony. Thank you for sharing this. Thank you for your example David. It is a joy to listen to your podcasts.
Thank you for your beautiful testimony dear Brother Alexander. So grateful you share all that you do with us. 🙏🏻🥲
Thanks, Cindy!
I wish I could push the "thumbs up" button MUCH more than just once. Thank you, David.
I pushed it for you. Now, I need someone to push it for me.
@@bplionel2 Keep it going!
I’m happy for the joy you feel from helping your family. They are smiling and thankful for your Christlike love and service.
And which Jesus would that be?
David, your testimony is reaching 10's of thousands, and you are performing an amazing work for our God. You are teaching, inspiring, and strengthening the church membership and also bringing many back. I am so thankful for having found you in UA-cam (and spending 2 hours with you in your home!) You are doing God's work. May you continue to be blessed! BTW when you do your family's work, they are so incredibly happy because you have given them power and they use that power to watch over and bless you from the other side. Everything goes better for us because of our temple service.
I'm a Temple Ordinance Worker here in the Philippines 🇵🇭 and I love watching your video ❤ Indeed, this is the work of the Lord.
The story of your grandfather brought tears to my eyes. What a good man
While listening to your video David I could feel the spirit.
@@smileysun9212 oh yes, you definitely need to get back. It is so beautiful and wonderful!
David you're soo inspiring, such an amazing example with an awesome testimony. I recently started doing temple work for my deceased ancestors and it is such a wonderful experience. Keep it up brother, thanks for your posts!!! ❤
I enjoy you immensely, your enthusiasm your infectious testimony, you strengthen my testimony, keep up the good work, I understand THE WORK YOU 'VE GOT AHEAD, I moved into Apple Valley, CA
4 YRS AGO and the Spirit did not leave me alone until I started doing what I had to do about my genealogy. You will feel fantastic about doing for others, that which can't do for themselves. GOD BLESS YOU MY BROTHER
Just remember those people on the other side of the veil are watching and guiding you, this means more to them than you can ever imagine! 🙏👍🙏🙏🙏🙏👍
David, our Heavenly Father shortened the endowment just for you!
Genealogy work is very addicting but in a good way 😂❤
I have been a member of the church for almost 26 years and I am a convert.
Thankful for the blessings of the temple ❤
PS - the key is to find balance. Don't burn yourself down, use good judgement 🙏❤️
Such a sweet story, so touching. Your grandfather and you have very kind eyes. What a blessing to have such fond memories of them.
Thank you! You have inspired me to put my priorities in place. I really know the power in what you share! Thank you, again!
Thank you for your Spirit-filled video! My husband and I are temple workers in the Sacramento CA Temple and we love the inspired focus of the endowment on our Savior too! 🙏🏼💖💖🙏🏼
Had to look it up: I am a 9th cousin 2 removed to your grandmother.❤
Remember my friend and brother, you can get help doing the temple work for your ancestors by many of us, whether here, or in your ward, etc. Much love, Mark
Yes, don’t stress over it. It will never be finished in this life and we will have joy doing it in the millenium. Thank you so much for sharing that special experience with your grandfather.
I'm sure me and your other you tube followers would love to spend a day in the temple with you just giving you a head start on your names.
David, the church will help you do all your names. This work will be going through the millennium. So don’t stress about it.
Yes brother.
All FamilySearch names we personally discover, the redemptive work for them could always be "shared" with "The Temple."
But this shortened " *_triple distilled_* " format appears to be a quantum leap forward for the hastening of The entire Work, before His Second Coming !!!
Hosannah!
@NanasHealthyKitchen ya and if you need help with women especially 🎉 love you brother. I wish I could just sing with you but I don't know the songs you do
The work is indeed hastening. A glorious sign of the times. ❤
Dude that’s awesome! We were seated directly behind you at that session :)
My father would go 2 hours away to the nearest temple once a month when I was growing up.
Hi David, I feel exactly the same way as you do. Thank you for sharing. I too have many ordinances to complete and I love my ancestors. I was endowed in January 2024 and I am 68 years old.
Your videos make me so happy, thanks so much for sharing your journey and testimony!
The power of the Spirit of Elijah is such a blessing to the world! ❤
Thank you David for sharing your heartfelt testimony of the Temple and the importance of family, eternal families. The spirit of Elijah is real!!
So wonderful to hear from you, Marie! Good news from a far country is like a drink of cold water to a thirsty soul! Your friend, David
International House of Handshakes!
Boy, our world needs the temple
There is no place like the temple
Amen !
Truly, through the sacred ordinances of the holy temple, we naturally turn our hearts to our dead ancestors; and their hearts are turning to ours in mortality. I have felt the power and the love of this sacred work.
David,
As a new ordinance worker in the Bountiful Temple I am humbled and touched by your joy and conviction of the Temple, and of the new Endowment Ceremony. As I understand it, the purpose for the change was exactly as you described it. Your voice and testimony is appreciated and effective. Thank you so much for sharing your faith and joy in the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. -Brian
Such a sweet and powerful and encouraging testimony😊 This is the first time I've seen your channel. Thank-you, kind brother! Jesus lives!
You have strong caring and hard working family heritage .
You should grab your Elder's quorum and do a temple night just for your family names!
I live 5 minutes from the Orem Temple and I serve as an organist in the chapel every other Wednesday. I take family names and do initiatories or an endowment afterwards. It's such a blessing to serve in the temple!
I love it! The Lord is hastening His work! Now we need to get to His work!!! Beautiful and glorious!
It's BEAUTIFUL! Now we can attend multiple sessions back to back spaced just two hours apart and have plenty of time in the Celestial room!
What a blessing awaits us ❤
Thank you for sharing your love of the temple your ancestors and the gospel of Jesus Christ! You are an inspiration!❤
Wow, I went last night. I was overwhelmed by the spirit all night. Thank you for your faith.
Hi David, In England we go to the temple a week at a time and spend all day in the temple. It is an amazing experience. I once spent 5 weeks in the temple ( on vacation in Utah). I did the full work for 72 people! Hard work but so healing!
You are Gathering people from far and wide, thank you David❤
Thank you David. Your testimony and conviction are wonderful to hear. I feel strengthened listening to your heartfelt words!
Sounds wonderful!! Your grandfather will be eternally grateful!
What a powerful testimony! Thanks for sharing this with us! ❤❤
You cannot do all the temple work on your own. You are a convert to the church, but you have a ward, stake and church family that can help yo do this marvelous work.
THE RESTORATION CONTINUES!!! I love loving in a living church.
Can't wait to experience the new endowment format! Congrats to you and your grandfather on his temple work!
It definitely goes faster. Better pay attention or you might miss it.
Very sweet picture of your Mom and Dad.
Thank you for sharing....my friend works in the St. George temple, she sent me a text yesterday about the changes in the endowment and that I was going to love it
The St. George Temple is our Temple, too. I got my endowment and was sealed to my family there, as well as being sealed as a child to my parents and brothers…that was just a few years ago…😊
It’s such a beautiful, holy, peaceful place.
Brother Alexander. Thank you for your wonderful testimony. You are an instrument in the Lord's hands. Thank you, I love you!
How beautiful a story of your grandfather, I love your video and what you shared, thank you so much.
