No. It's just not economically viable. Don't get me wrong, my fave camera is still my film camera, but clients want shots pronto and don't want the drum-scanning cost and time required to develop etc. It's an impatient world. Film is done for most commercial jobs, sad to say.

Just shot a music video (which ends up on UA-cam) on an Alexa Mini... never color graded this footage before. I appreciate the Toot however, I replaced the 3rd part plugin with FILM look luts. Looks better than just a base lut

I've always wished that the MamiyaLeaf digital backs were compatible with my RB67 body like this. Such a shame that a setup like this would be near or in the tens of thousands of dollars.

Best review on the new Blad I've seen. I just tipped a ton of cash into an Leica M11P and several lenses. Not gonna be happy till I have the 907 now. Been a while since I shot on a Hasselblad. I dumped my entire kit in favour of the Canon 1 DS back in 2001. Was a great decision at the time as I was in my main street studio and the switch to digital resulted in a huge increase in profit. Now, it's just for pleasure... and the Hasselblad looks like it will deliver big time!!!

This is 🔥 even for smaller scale stuff. I could see this being super helpful organizing a few kits in my truck bed. Definitely feel like I would need to tint the windows on my shell though haha.

The infuriating downside is the inexplicable absence of video recording capability! Why on earth would they strip such a basic function from a device meant to capture moments? It's utterly mind-boggling! And the reason? Apparently, it's because of all the incessant whining and nitpicking from UA-cam critics. Instead of addressing the issue like rational adults, they've opted to eradicate the entire video function altogether. It's absurd! These self-proclaimed "experts" have thrown a tantrum over minor inconveniences, and now we're all paying the price for their immature behavior. It's a disgrace!

Medium and large format film have extremely high resolution and don't artifact. If it increases income, why wouldn't you?

Kubrick “faked” the moon photography, they have just maximized the illusion as time has gone by. Not saying we didn’t go, just the footage is doctored in house. Rear projection/giant studios. Kubrick’s fingerprints are all over the photos/motion pictures. Apollo 17 is the best proof!
