I’m following basically the same path, I’ve always hated studio light and also said to my teacher “I’ll just always use natural light” but yeah, turns out while it can be great it also constantly changes. my newly found passion is to try to recreate and enhance natural light, but man it’s difficult.

nice video Sam! do you use black mist diffusers on the hasselblad to get rid of the stars in lights?
Sometimes BPM and sometimes Glimmer Glass. But I’m also wide open with my aperture, which typically results in none of the starry highlights.
