What Is Expired Film?

Old family twin lens 120 film camera and some Kodak TRI-X 400 speed film that expired in 1980. Over exposed the film by 4 stops (25 ASA) while photographing my wife and our new super green horse, Ziggy. Photographing with expired film can be a mysterious and unique experience. Obviously not a technically magnificent medium, but that's the fun of the process.
