I'm interested in trying pulling the 2 leafs technique but I don't know what two top Leafs. the first 2 or the most resent pair that are separate from the top or the 2 that surround the top?
@@martinbaca9783 start with cuttings that have a small bud on them. No need to do touch them at all. You will have heaps of branches growing.

@@albinoviper2876 yes a wine glass shape ican literally hold my stalks like a wine glass after harvest
What do you use the ac infinity 4 inch ? And 6 inch?
Imagine not leaving a comment to help this guy get his podcast out there in the algorithm! Great job providing this free content man!
Thank you so much!! 🌱

Yes ppl like subscribe and leave comment the interactions help get the videos out there the algorithm sees hey everyone likes and comments let's share this with others with similar interests. So if it's just something stupid like good video make sure u do it to help your growmie grow his channel like he grows them plants!! Only 1.4k likes 22k views only takes a second guys just do it I know u like the videos you have to
For real. I'm rewatching this. I left a comment the first time too.
Andrew Huberman has almost the same opening saying. He provides free knowledge about our bodies and what medical doctor's around the world are studying.
@@GardenTalkwithMrGrowIt HI Chris, sorry to be unsure on this..! are we measuring 18in from the bottom of the pot (the floor) or the the top of the pot, (the soil) thanks… great show as always 👍
This guy is legit. Seems like he'd be a really good friend.
i hope i would be lol
@@beastcoastgrower4207 I have no doubts. Cheers from California brother!
@@espeterson522 cheers brother
he grows in small pots. but, he isn't vegging the plants to be huge either.. sounds like a very efficient, fast and effective system... props to ya bub
Its the only way to do perpetual indoors. Theres no point in waiting 2 months to veg plants 2 months is an entire flower cycle if you can get that 'veg' time down to a week or no veg even but much high plant numbers indoor growing will be much quicker and efficient
Smaller plants- smaller buds
Such an amazing plant. Much love
@@LoudStereoTINYDICK
What would the difference in yield be in a year comparison? Between the two styles
@@fupaface3321 basically double. If it you have quick veg then add 3 months for flower +dry cure trim you can have 4 dry harvests a year whereas if it takes 5 months to veg and flower less plants in the same size tent you would get 2 harvests a year basically and if you get a pound out of your hypothetical 3x3 grow tent thats 4+ pounds a year compared to 2. Best bet veg your plants close to your planned flowering size so veg time is eliminated or shortened. Veg is the biggest time waster
Also if you veg out of bunch of plants you dont waste time topping and you will end up with a single large cola on each plant. If you try to top tiny plants a bunch of times and flower them while they are still small you will definitely get smaller buds
Respect, Chris for getting Beastcoast on here
The guests on this show are all amazing but BeastCoast is next level intelligences! I am flipping to flower soon and I will be applying a lot new things I learnt today. Thank you MR Grow It..,I truly appreciate you hard work and awesome news. Thank you as well BeastCoast...you are a wealth of growing knowledge 🙂🙂😀😀
You will hate a scrog id you use one.
@@clamwok Why would you say that
Hands down this was the best guest I've seen, he's super intelligent!
Please get this dude on again man.
thank you
@@beastcoastgrower4207 thank YOU!
If you get 100 growers in a room there will be 300 different methods, thanx got some good info.
2 minutes into this conversation and I could already tell this guy is awesome can't wait to hear what he has to say tree hugger right on I love it
I could listen to this guy talk about growing all day lol
I actually do! Lol
Dude you get great guests, and do a good job interviewing them. Keep'em coming.
Thanks for your positive words! It's comments like this that keep me going. Cheers 🌱
His method of plucking just the top 2 leaves early on makes a lot of sense. I'm gonna give that a try.
Just pluck off top 2 leaves instead of pinching off the top? During early veg of course
I started doing this after hearing Tenasi talk about it. It works amazing! I can't believe it's not a more popular technique
@@jwconstruction9065 yup!
@@Mean_Mr_Grinch Cool tu
It works!
I agree with his logic on defoliating. I never felt comfortable stripping a lot of leafs off at once. Too much trauma. By taking 2-5 everyday day or two still achieves the same effect with no stress. It's more closer to nature I think, but who am I, rookie with less than a year xp, so I really know what I'm doing...lol great show as usual.
I’ve been growing for decades and this is what I’ve always done. Seems intuitive.
Beastcoast... Mr. Grow it did it with another great interview again 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
dope!!!!!!!!!!
I scrog... can't wait to watch this one
Gotta get “Northern Scrogger” on. He grows insane scrogs. Very knowledgeable
I agree 100%!!!!!
I second this.
I third this!
I don't know who he is but I want to. So I agree too
He has a group too. Not much content though.
Train every day in veg and prune problem leaves that sweat on each other or are covering tops daily. This will decrease your mold and pest issues and increase the amount and size of tops. It's a misconception that stress is bad for plants. Healthy plants will respond positively to stress.
Chris so sorry to hear about your dad. I am going through the same thing with my father- same diagnosis. Sending you and your dad and fam lots of love and healing!
I place 4 or 6* plants per 5 x 5 tent. I use a thin, welded metal trellis that's galvanised and plastic-coated, for longevity and sanitation.
This time I have a second trellis, about a foot above the first one. They are held by 12" bungee cords, wrapped around the tent uprights, secured to the corner trellis square.
I like to have the lollipop done between week 2 and 3 of bloom and then defoliation on a daily as-needs basis. By the way, only my third indoor, and I have used trellis since inception.
7 gallon pots (filled to 5 gallons) of loose rockwool, and hydroponic nutrients, with phosphoric acid for pH adjustment. Pots in trays, with Floraflex rocket drippers and pump/reservoir, manually switched.
* The number of plants is limited as I live in a country where the herb isn't sanctioned medicine yet.
I’m so with him on not defoliating all at once. I used to see my plants growth halt for a day or two after massive defol. Now I take a couple leaves a day off each plant and they never seem to be bothered by it.
BeastCoastGrow - Love your energy ! and the Knowledge , Cheers
cheers thank you
Holy Cow! You keep knocking them out if the park Chris. This was an outstanding episode, Thank you and BeastCoast for such a chill hour of insane information.
anytime
Man the amazing content just keeps coming out from this channel!! I love the time stamps on the videos, very cool. Makes me want to watch them again and again. I've been a fan since before I even knew you grew medicinal plants!! I just knew you had great info for everything having to do with plants.
Beastcoast! Mr grow it bringing them all out the woodworks.
I am an ICU RN and I would rather use cannibis than a lot of other meds if I was going through cancer treatment.
No one's gonna bring up how smooth this guy's skin is?? Flawless, now I wanna grow all my own veggies..
thank you
I’d recommend a trellis net for any grower. It’s been incredibly helpful for me.
Thanks Mr. Growit! These interviews are awesome, and the amount of info I have gained from you and this podcast in Massive..
Great information and just in time....I'm about to chop and get the next flower run... I'll check on beast coast channel to get more information...thank you Chris...
There's nothing like a night cap, while watching garden talk with Chris, aka, Mr Grow it! You can never learn enough, even though I've been doing it for YEARS, I always learn a new tip or technique while watching this podcast, thanks again Chris!
Smart Dude. Speaks w confidence
always such an informative show, stickin true to that mission statement! really love hearing other growers techniques and thought processes behind certain moves in the garden!
Hi Chris I hope your day is going well. I like how you do your interviews you ask the important questions and you let them do the talking. You're a very good listener. I also do the scrog method very similar to the way he does it . I'm in a tent I unzip the tent as much as possible to do all my maintenance. Thanks for the content I appreciate it. Peace
The sweater analogy was 🔥
LEGIT learning session guys! And a chill way to share valuable techniques.
Like the humidifier in the background... lived in Vegas, know it's dry🏜
I be filling mine up like 10x a day lol
The weather in my state is nearly identical to vegss. I’m going to go buy one today, I think a cheap one will work for now as I only have 7 going. I think a humidifier is what’s missing from my program
Another amazing episode Chris, keep them coming :)
Such a great episode. I have watched it several times. Still applicable after 6 months. Great job, Chris. Your content is top notch.
Perfect timing of the video for me as ive just ordered a scrog net for my 2x2. Your knocking it out of the park with the guests on the show 👍

Cancer sucks my Dad passed away almost 3 years now. God blessed me with a awesome dad for 35 years he was my best friend. Now I have 2 awesome sons.
Awesome. Super smart and chill dude, lotsa great ideas
I attempted my first SCROG outdoors this year. It went unexpectedly well. I did a TON of LST along with topping/FIMing. I ended up with a fantastic canopy with about 44 top sites! I will absolutely do SCROG from now on, I'm hooked.
This was incredibly helpful, thank you both so much 🙏
I got some old white kite string around still trying to use up, so I tied up a scrog net pretty easily, I didn't think it was ever going to work but I got really bored one day and boom free trellis net
The cannabis conversation is always next level on your podcast Chris, thanks as always for the education ✌
Great podcast Beast Coast has a lot of knowledge thanks!
Keep killing it man! Another great episode like always.

This was the beginning of Mr Grow its shows, Is that your moms house, cause you got your own spot now, If this show helped your life, Thats great!! I really respect your professionalism Mr Grow it! Thanks for all the info we all get. Thanks Moms
Thanks! That was actually my old house - not my Mom’s
Love this because it’s really informative, I’ve learned so much.
As a first time scrogger, this is the best discussion I've found on UA-cam about it. Thanks so much
Excellent seeing you both together 🤜💪
wont be the last time
favorite channel to follow, thank you
Its like you know just what Im thinking when you drip these videos! Good shit
[Distance Between Nets] if I have a rogue branch that is outgrowing every other branch, I will down-rig that branch by tying a wire to the branch underneath the scrog (same as regular LST) and pulling the branch straight down a couple inches, allowing the top to sink and settle back in line with the rest of the canopy and then secure the wire.
Love your channel Chris and thanks for bringing BeastCoast on the podcast. Heading over now and can’t wait to see more of his videos!!
thanks a ton bro
Great topic and awesome guest. Well done Chris 👏
Always great conversations‼️

Really enjoyed this episode! Ty
Brilliant! A lot of what he said made sense. Well done 👏 great interview!
Netting for the first time, this has been extremely helpful. Thanks for sharing your knowledge 🙏🌱😊
Loving all the comments…Can’t wait to watch
Great podcast, thanks for the information guys 🙏❤️🙏
I love the tip on what scissor to use to cut the net. Because all to often you can find little fibers in some of your buds where the net was not cut clean. This tip could work great, especially if you take the time completely cut out the net from every plant before you start cutting them down.
This was a great one! Learned so much.
mint episode chris watched this once beforre and back again 😎🤙
I'm on my 28th run with scrog, came for knowledge still. :) I love how chill both of you are. Some great advice, and motivation for me.
Cool dude. Learned a Lot and right on time. Thanks Chris
