Another interesting thing about the twirl of vines is they turn in opposite directions depending upon which hemisphere they’re growing in. Northern hemisphere is typically clockwise while the southern is counterclockwise.
I planted an avocado when I was a kid, watered it and stared at it for a while. Til I got bored and forgot about it. Later my dad was getting rid of that pot and found it, he didn't know. But it had started growing roots so he replanted it in a diffrent pot. Around 18 years later it's still alive and going strong
@@powertothesheeple5422 The problem with growing avocado trees from a seed, is the same one as growing apple trees from a seed. You don't know what you will actually get. The chances of getting a tree that produces good fruit is pretty small.
I, for one, greatly appreciate all of the work you've put into making these videos! I'm an avid gardener, and seeing things grow in time-lapse brings pure joy to my heart! Thank you!!!
Yes, I have found it quite literally healing (and I am not your “woo-woo” type). I am now going to look for more, and understand he has others, as to compile a playlist for when I am too hyper. I am rather amazed, frankly. Being in Nature does the same for me, but that is not always possible. Encore!
My mother has a big hydroponic garden inside the apartment and it's crazy watching those suckers grow from tiny leaves to massive budding plants. Nature is beautiful.
Glory be to God, the great creator and beautiful artist Have you played games like GTA, survival games, and Happy Farm, and have you watched movies? Games have a maker. They make sound and image files, movements, stages of the game, its system, laws, and its own scenario. Then the player comes and uses this, throws the seed, waters it, and sees the plant emerge on its own, but he knows that it has a maker who makes the images and movements. And the planting system and its laws, and the player used it, who discovered the method of planting and used it, as well as the recipes for food that he discovers and the devices that he makes. He continues to put things on things and discovers devices made by the game maker and its law, and the weapons and houses that he builds and the monsters that he finds, all made and prepared in advance, sound, image, movement, and law, and the player extracts those things. And the development of devices and weapons in the successive stages of the game, the emergence and advancement prepared by the game maker, the story of the game and its stages from the beginning until its conclusion, and the deficiency that befalls the player in his life bar, his energy, methods of treatment, and his food for energy. Likewise, movies find scenes successively emerging from each other, caused by previous scenes, as if no one had made them, but we know. They were filmed scene by scene, collected together, and arranged, and each scene emerged from the previous one and presented to us. Likewise, God made movies and games a sign for us for His creation of everything, preparing it in advance, and our use of it, and making it caused by reasons that He created every image, sound, and movement, and established laws and scenarios, and things appear to us for logical reasons, with laws. We discover it and use it, just like games and movies. There is a complete script written before filming, just as God wrote everything in the preserved tablet. Then they divide it into papers for each scene that they give to the actors. Likewise, fate descends from the preserved tablet every year on the Night of Destiny. And the cartoon films create a scene, a scene of movement, every image and sound. Then we see it as if it comes out of itself without a maker. What makes you disbelieve in God? Is it because you do not find a direct link between Him and the universe? Does the game maker or the movie director come to you with the game and the movie and make it in front of you and play it for you in front of you and they remain standing in front of you while you play it? Rather, you are in the universe as a character inside the game who has never seen its maker or how he made it and you wander around and discover and use things. God created everything from the big bang, which is like a beginning. The game and the movie until the end day, which is like the end of the movie and the conclusion of the stages of the game, their collection, their ranks, and their appreciation, and all the scenarios of movies and games, their tools, ideas, devices, events, and values, good, evil, and fighting. All of that is taken from the universe that God created, so making games and movies is proof to people that the universe has been made by god everything in it. Image, sound, pixels, movement, tools, laws, story, beginning and end. Or do you want God to appear to you and make everything for you with His hand in front of you? Game and movie makers do not do that. They make things for you and make you the one who does them, discovers them, makes them with your own hand, and finds logical reasons for them that come out automatically, and you know that all of that is programmed. And every weight of an atom in it is made like the pixel in games Rather, you are like a character in a game, walking, discovering, planting,Night and day alternate as in reality and rain falls , creating, and finding laws, order, and things that come out automatically, caused by law, and you encounter things, and your equipment develops, and you come across stories and people, and the matter has a beginning and an end, and all of that is made. Didn’t the makers of games and movies imitate them from the universe? Isn’t everything imitated that is made that indicates that the original thing is also made? Can you find a Chinese phone made that imitates the iPhone without the iPhone also being made like it, but with better as well? Glory be to my Lord, who created the universe, perfected it, and perfected it with the greatness of what is in it, the length of its duration, and the large number of things in it, things, events, people, characters, materials, and programmed it into a great work. that game and movie makers are trying to imitate. And they will not be able to make what he do a sign for them that the universe in which it exists has a great Creator who created it
@@Robespierre-lI I dont think its that deep really. I think humans now are just very dissociated with where things really come from, and when you see something like this video, it sparks your brain to really start thinking about life.
This is known as "twining", and it occurs because the plant uses a support structure to help it climb and reach sunlight. The twining is a natural mechanism where the vine wraps around the support in a spiral manner to gain stability and grow upward efficiently. This behavior ensures that the vine can maximize its exposure to light, which is essential for photosynthesis and overall growth.
I sit here, a 70-year-old man near tears, having my belief that we are privileged beings to live in a wonderous, amazing and oh so beautiful world reaffirmed. Thank you...................and kudos to your production values/quality as well. The music was so "right" that I may just listen to my tomato plants growing to see if I can hear that "tune".
I saw the beauty, too, Mr. Cunningham. It’s so amazing to see all the diversity and witness the results of even some nurturing. Life keeps going and going. It’s like life wants to live and keep on living 💚💜
I can’t imagine how many cameras, time-lapse timers, tripods and lights the author has. After all, photographing each plant takes a lot of time, and all these devices must be nearby and rigidly fixed all this time. I'm not even talking about time and monitoring the process. In general, this is only available to fans. My admirations! 👍

A chunk of his lifespan? Lmao he grew multiple plants at the same time and had the cameras set to automatically take pictures. All he had to do was water the plants every day.
Seeing these plants grow in a time lapse, I can't help feel how alive these things are, they just move in a different frame of time than we do. The time lapse merely accelerates their movements to match the timing of ours.
It’s crazy. Plants are conscious and they even can communicate with each other but most people don’t even realise. Pretty wild when you look into it (pun was definitely intended)
@@herbalterrorist420Plants are not conscious. They do not communicate with each other in the intentional sense that your language suggests, although there is cross-plant hormone signalling.
@@maxv9464I know what you mean but that's a form of communicating. Also I'm not entirely sure on this but I think there has been a few plants that may have evidence of conscious. Don't quote me on that though.

And why should they watch that? Like what does it teach you? Which subject should teach that? Why should the teacher projecting a youtube video get paid? Where's the educational value in watching plants grow? There're plenty of youtube videos where I'd agree but this isn't one of them
Idk why I got emotional watching this! Probably because we don’t get to see this progression as you’ve shown. It’s so beautiful! Life is beautiful! Imperfectly beautiful. Didn’t think I would be as captivated as I was. Thank you so much for sharing!
Are you saying that life is beautiful? I will say it depends. The way plants grow at an accelerated pace can be beautiful. But is it beautiful when a pack of hyenas eats a wildebeest alive? Life can be beautiful but also very brutal. Unfortunately, certain situations in nature are not suitable for showing in nature programs.
Same. It really puts into perspective how incredible it is that life exists on this planet, one in trillions upon trillions, and how utterly heartbreaking it is that we're destroying it.

I have done a few timelapses of flowers, many years ago around 2005. It is surprisingly hard to keep exposure and a fixed position. This video shows an understanding how to deal with that, VERY well done. I am impressed. What surprised me the most when I did my timelapses was the MOVEMENT of the flower. While it thrived it made a circulative motion, when it stopped it took a few days and it wiltered...
I come here expecting a 15 years time lapse of a single plant. Turns out it was 15 years total from multiple time lapse. It was a pleasant surprise. While i wanted the follow up of some plants, being able to see some of the smaller plants grow, wither, and bear fruit was such an amazing experience i am at a loss of words. Beautiful.
Well it felt like I had to spend 15 years watching it. But that was just a result of the sheer quantity of effort required to create so many wonderful different time-lapse sequences in one video.

What an amazing amount of work, love and patience. Absolutely mesmerising and relaxing to watch. It’s like the plants are dancing with the with the music. Thank you!
This video is art. It not only shows the amazing and beautiful growth path for these various plants, but also how far we've come as a species. Imagine showing this video to someone born 200, 100, or even 50 years ago
Agreed that it's spectacular but one reaction you'd get from anyone living 50+ years ago (back when people actually knew nature) is how unrealistic this looks. Normally plants grow in nature and are beset by weather, predators and more. They don't grow pristinely without ever really moving so you can speed up their growth in a time lapse; if you tried to capture that outside it would look like a blur, and the plant would be covered in mud, dust, insects, etc etc. No complaint -- this is awesome -- but it's a strange (if beautiful) and curated version of nature.
@@gmaasry Great point - the plants in this video grow in predator-less and, like you said, pristine conditions. Thus making it look almost fake. I wonder if people in the future will think this is ai?
Y? Why would showing it to someone born 50 100 or 200 years ago be any different than you seeing it now? In fact, people born 50 years a Go Plus I already know all this. Most Have or have had gardens and have seen all this for their own eyes

I’ve had my mango tree for 6 years now. It’s been through a lot. Been broken a couple times, rode 17 hours sideways in the back of a truck. Watching the mango grow was very nostalgic of when mine was a little sprout. ❤️
Love to see how you can tell a plant is really alive once you timelapse them. Searching for light and those who need support search for support. Once it's placed they know to grab onto it. They know to grow the roots downwards into the ground. They know to grow towards the light. It's beautiful to see

This video couldn't be any more beautiful. Plants are all alive as could be. They are amazing and so different. Thank you for the amazing video. I never cease to be amazed by videos like these!!!
This was just too awe-inspiring! Here is the deal... I was moved to tears. Each plant tracked at which day of progress and the music selection. This video needs to be submitted to the Museum Of Science And Industry in Chicago to the curator. You will inspire a whole new generation of farmers or those who want beautiful plants at their windows. This video is far too important to just be here in UA-cam. I feel the absolute need to visit my garden center and get started! Patience seems to be the key! Schools everywhere should have this video so kids everywhere could have classrooms grow plants for cleaner air and something to take home and possibly continue. Thank you for this moving educational video! I am going to try a few. Thank you for the wide selection! All of your efforts are so worth it!
So right. It belongs to be in all schools and museums. to inspire humans all around this globe. what a beauty !! as you said, the author should not just let it be in UA-cam.

But it had started growing roots so he replanted it in a diffrent pot. Around 18 years later it's still alive and going strong

Have you played games like GTA, survival games, and Happy Farm, and have you watched movies?
And every weight of an atom in it is made like the pixel in games
Rather, you are like a character in a game, walking, discovering, planting,Night and day alternate as in reality and rain falls , creating, and finding laws, order, and things that come out automatically, caused by law, and you encounter things, and your equipment develops, and you come across stories and people, and the matter has a beginning and an end, and all of that is made.
I think humans now are just very dissociated with where things really come from, and when you see something like this video, it sparks your brain to really start thinking about life.
the top of the kiwi plant spinning and looking for something to circle around was so amazing

@@DAViDD767don't straw man vegans. Plants are very much living but they are not sentient. They have no central nervous system or brain, whereas animals definitely do.
Even if plants were sentient somehow and experienced horrific suffering when you pick their fruit, you still kill far more plants by eating animals as they need to be fed 10-30x more food than the calories their flesh provides.

Through the filmmaker's lens, we see the interconnectedness of nature, a reminder of our own fleeting existence. The garden's cycle of growth and renewal reflects the beauty and fragility of life, inviting us to pause and appreciate the wonder of simply being.

This video is art. It not only shows the amazing and beautiful growth path for these various plants, but also how far we've come as a species. Imagine showing this video to someone born 200, 100, or even 50 years ago
It's the slo mo version of Timelapse of the Future... 😀ua-cam.com/video/uD4izuDMUQA/v-deo.html

Absolutely Beautiful, this truly shows the life that exists in plants. From the little saplings exploring with there vines to eventually grappling onto support poles all to eventually create a fruit of there own. This video really is beautiful, I really needed to see this kind of video today so Thank you 😸

It's beautiful to see
Yeah they move in super slow motion
It's absolutely gorgeous
