What an honor to interview one of UA-cam’s biggest givers to the community. Loved the idea and thanks again for all you do ❤❤❤❤ the future is a bright one for you my man
Wow, first off, I'm so sorry for your loss. It seems like a dedication to your father that you even dropped this video with everything going on. Dakota was such a wonderful pick for this. I absolutely love the idea of turning the mic around on yourself. 100 down, looking forward to the next 100. I feel like I speak for everyone when I say we have all learned so much from your podcast. You have coaxed such good information out of many knowledgeable people. It was interesting to hear some of your confessions regarding the podcast and the interviews you conducted. I enjoyed the energy of this podcast and respect you even more for putting yourself in the hot seat on your own show. Shoutout to Dakota, couldn't have picked anyone better for the role. Excellent questions! Not sure if you made him ask the same intro question, but I really respect that he did it.
I'm late watching this but I love listening to you both. Chris, your voice is so calming and you have a lot of intelligence that shows in all your podcasts. I'm so sorry about your losing your dad. My dad died of lung cancer too. The docs kept saying it was just pneumonia and then six months later he was gone, at only 63 years old. I cried about it for years. Those moments just sneak up on you. I lost my mom in early 2020, not from COVID but she had congestive heart failure. I feel like God took her at the right time, as odd as that sounds, since she didn't have to watch other people her age dying in the assisted living place where she was at and even go thru COVID herself at 88. I miss her SO MUCH still. My heart goes out to you and your family, and I will pray for your comfort and strength. Sending huge hugs!❤
The community appreciates your dedication to spreading knowledge and your fathers dedication towards raising an amazing man. I'm sure he was extremely proud of you Chris.
Bro I’m new to growing. Starting my first grow in a 5 by 5 by 6. I’ve watched so many different channels. Your are by far the easiest to watch. Most channels make me leave feeling like everything I watched was too hard to understand. I’ve got ADHD so u gotta keep my attention. You are so easy to watch and learn from brother. By far my favorite channel. I love it bro. Thank you for doing what you do.
So sad to hear about your dads passing. Much love and respect to you and your family. There’s one thing I can say is he raised one hell of a son. Kia kaha & Aroha nui from all your followers in NZ
Condolences on the loss of your Dad ...I lost my Dad October last year and since I have reevaluated my priorities in life and decided to sell up interstate and in the process of moving back to my homestate. Your podcasts are something I really look forward to every time I visit and hope they are a good grounding for you .... your impartiality to a wide ranging of opinions is very heartening to see ... tolerance of diversity in everthing makes for a better world. All the best.
Been watching you for sometime chris and your amazing at what you do! Hearing about your father broke my heart man! I lost mine last year around Easter! I pray god gives you strength my growmie! ✊🏻🙏🏻
I lost my pops to cancer 6 years ago, so that moment got me. Never apologize, man. Spend and enjoy every second with him that you can. Best wishes to you and yours. Thanks for all your contributions to our community.
I absolutely love you brother! I felt that man❤. I hope things go a smooth as possible with your Dad man❤. I’ve been through it so I’m sending ALL my strength and love your way. Please Chris take care of yourself ❤ 😊

So I hadn’t watched the full episode b4 my first comment! Man Chris! So sorry, I lost my mother to breast cancer, almost over night. God bless you and the Mr. Grow It Family!
My mom just passed 1 hour before new years. I cried when you almost broke down. So sorry brother. Your dad is in no more pain brother and is in a better place. Nothing but love brother 💚👊🏽 thanks for the interview and great advice.
Hey Chris, I've listened to soo many of your episodes 👍 I feel like I know you lol however I've never commented. First off I'm so grateful for You Tube for making all of this knowledge so easily accessible. That being said I also have a huge appreciation for the People like you that commit so much of they're time to making Great Content. You all inspire us beginner Gardeners. Also my Condolences 🙏 to you and your Family. I also lost my Mother to the exact same thing in October of 2018.... Life can be so absolutely overwhelming at times. What helps me with the grief is knowing that they all live on through us. I Feel like Gardening since has also helped me soo much. Anyways best of luck and Stay Inspired 🌍 I'm looking forward to seeing More Amazing, Well thought out Content.
Your father raised a fine man. Hope you mourn and let yourself the appreciation by those of us still around with you. Your generosity with knowledge is inspiring and the wrapping with which you present it with is first class. Grateful for you and your care to share.
Great episode Chris. It was different seeing you get questioned. Sorry to here about your dad. My dad passed from cancer was the hardest thing I ever went through. Keep up the great work and keep doing what your doing👊😎
That ending hurt me in my soul! I lost my mother a few years back so I completely understand that pain my friend. Thank you for everything you taught me I just started on my growing journey because of you!
You are so right about not getting caught up in the noise... I spent my first year chasing my tail just because of that... Got an awesome program and it wasn't until you had a few guests on that said keep it real and don't follow the hype... I pulled away for a year and didn't watch anything and just did my own thing and I was able to dial it in within 9 months... After wasting 12 chasing my tail because of so many and so much different information out there..
You've done 100 episodes. I've listened to 100 episodes. I'm ready for 100 more. I have listened to everything even though half of it doesn't apply to how I grow. I have learned so much. I have discovered so many great techniques because of you and your guests. Incredible work. I appreciate what you have done with this community in sharing all this information. Top notch gentleman. Thank you.
Chris from my family to yours we're sorry for your loss and will pray for your family. May your Dad rest in peace. Love and God Bless to you and you family. 💚 🙏☮☯
It's amazing to hear you both together. I have been growing for three years now, Chris has (and all his friends ) has brought me to " 16:43 home grown weed" to the best Cannabis I have ever seen, smoked and tasted . We both thank you for all the info!!! AS FOR YOU DAKO A.. Thank you also. The in info you provide is se cond to NONE!! ANYBODY CAN GROW😂
Thanks for all your and guests info. I think all your podcasts are fantastic. Growing for 2years following someone that just does auto flowers. But learning so much more from you. God bless you bro. Thank you
Sorry about your dad Mr Grow It. He raised a true gentleman and was no doubt very proud. Going through the exact same illness with my dad and has been rough.
I absolutely love your content bro. I got back in to growing after a 15 year break because my wife was diagnosed with AS. The information that you have given freely has help us build an amazing little med garden that helps her get through the day with minimal pain. Thank you so much Chris.
Dakota was a great person to interview you, he always gives off positives vibes and is so knowledgeable just like you. The information was awesome, my biggest take away is to always be willing to grow your grow knowledge. Chris I appreciate all the information you've shared over the 100 episodes. Because of great people like yourself, Mr. Canuck, Dakota, and Rob and Pigeon from the Stash sharing excellent information for all stages of growers I'm trying my 1st grow using 75% Organic Roots soil with local worm castings and Organic amendments from Gaia Green as well as black strap molasses. I'm now 4 weeks into flower with my girls (from Humboldt Seed Co thanks to watching Dakota) have exceeded all my expectations to this point, thank you for being such a huge part of the reason! 💚☯☮🔥🌴
Chris great interview. I’ve been drying using the lotus/dry cure tech for a few years with the best results by far compared to tent drying. You utilize a working frost free refrigerator by placing buds into plain brown bags and drying in the refrigerator for 14-18 days then into jars for long term storage. This method preserves terpenes that would normally evaporate using the traditional 60temp/60rh method. I’m sold on this method now. I bought an extra used fridge for $20 bucks online for this purpose and when filled I can easily dry 5pounds to perfection. I came across this technique a few years back when I was about to dry a bunch of goods but could not use the traditional tent 60/60 method because I was going on a vacation so I researched and ohh my has it been a game changer for me. You should look into it sir.
You should do an interview on feeding organics and synthetic nutrition! I think it would be an interesting topic. Love the content! Keep it going cris!
Much respect Chris, so happy to listen to your mind get picked for a change. Your pure light is a helpful beacon in the vast darkest of information to us.
I'm a recent sub and really enjoyed this video. We never stop learning and no one knows it all. Listening to Mr. Grow It talk about his start reminds me of mine. I started gardening as a child in the 70s, both sets of Grandparents gardened. My first grow was 1980 with a long time friend. We didn't have the internet to learn, hell we didn't even know of the grow books available or high times until later. We got our seeds from the weed we bought, yes youngin's weed used to have seeds you had to remove before smoking lol.
Congratulations Chris and so much thanks for all that huge amount of work what you have done for us! You are a legend! My deepest sympathy for you and for the family!
Chris, I can only assume the “rest in peace, dad” is from you. Brother I am so sorry for your loss. I will pray for you and your family. Can’t wait for you to post your next video….God Bless Mr. Growit!!
Chris thank you for all the knowledge you have given the community we appreciate you so much the community loves you and we are all here for you. Condolences to you and your family. Shout out to Dakota also for doing this on episode 100
This is great mr grow it being interviewed finally we get to hear you out and ironically enough we both started growing at the same time your a solid guy and great thing about you is you give ppl like me a chance if my product takes off words can’t describe how appreciative I will be and I am a firm believer in reciprocate ✊🏽
I run two Caframo Chinook fans in my 2x4. one on the bottom & the 2nd mid way up, creating a wind spiral. Exhaust A/C Inf. fan on top * These fans are quiet and will last for 30 yrs or more! I know, I had one! Best fan out there ... top quality and finger safe too!
Glass jars in the freezer. I've had 3 year old buds from the freezer that people thought were fresh bud. Dry it , cure it as usual, then store it in the freezer in jars. I take out one jar for use at a time. It takes me 3 years to burn through a garden grow.
I'm in the North so RH is very low in the winter, I find using bags instead of pots helps keep the humidity up. I have some drying now, turned off the lights, cut and hung the plants then watered the bags and left them in the tent with a small circulating fan and variable speed exhaust fan. I'm maintaining 55-65% RH in the tent in a house with RH less than 30%. For growing, 2 plants in 5 gal bags in 2×4 tents keeps RH in the low 50's but drops some as they get close to needing to be watered but not low enough to worry. We have time of day electric metering here so my plants are on night shift too.
Excellent episode! Been waiting on this one for a while and what better way to celebrate episode 100. Congrats on this milestone and here’s to celebrating the next one 🥂! Deepest condolences for your loss. He raised an amazing man who’s done incredible work to help inform and inspire others as well as being a beacon of positivity in this bubble that we all find ourselves in. ❤
Bittersweet as it may be… Happy 100 episodes, Chris! As a veteran grower and breeder, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve learned something new from Garden Talk. Keep up the great work!
Damn, great episode Chris. Hey buddy I have lost both of my parents and I am only 38 years old. I feel your pain. It’s good to talk about it and get the emotions out. It’s a hard pill to swallow losing your parents. It takes time to accept it. Try to remember the good times. My mom passed of lung cancer and it was really hard to watch her go through that, and I feel for you brotha. Keep your head up and keep making the best podcast out.
Wao Mr Grow it I didn't know you was from Massachusetts I live in Springfield Massachusetts myself ❤love all your interviews and videos I am fan much love and respect
with the oscillating fans what has worked out for me is to never run them 24/7. i have 2, one on each side of a 2x4 and i cycle them 18 on 6 off, with the cycles offset so there is never a time when both are off, seems to extend their life.
Condolences to you and your family for your loss !! Love all info you share it’s all good stuff and they are all soo proud of you !! I’m a true believer that the ones ya love never really leave you so keep on keeping on thank you
Rest In Peace Dad 1/12/23

Ive been growing 30 years & dont know crap, comparatively. Just have fun, listen & just see what works best for you!
Bless brother I know he’s proud by you sharing the plant knowledge for bettering peoples lives 🙏
Here we go, Ya mentioned after episode 100 , you are changing things! EXCITED!
from the old skool to the new skool ... Homegrow TV is the future .. 😎
great interview ... thanks both of you for what you give to our community
Thanks so much Norma! I appreciate you 👊🌱
Much respect Chris, so happy to listen to your mind get picked for a change. Your pure light is a helpful beacon in the vast darkest of information to us.
I'm a recent sub and really enjoyed this video. We never stop learning and no one knows it all. Listening to Mr. Grow It talk about his start reminds me of mine. My mom passed of lung cancer and it was really hard to watch her go through that, and I feel for you brotha. Keep your head up and keep making the best podcast out.

My condolences for you & your family Chris. Thank you for finding time to put aside for the grow community & Happy 100th episode ✌🏽&💚
with the oscillating fans what has worked out for me is to never run them 24/7. i have 2, one on each side of a 2x4 and i cycle them 18 on 6 off, with the cycles offset so there is never a time when both are off, seems to extend their life.
💚👍two of my favorite people. Sorry for your loss , lost my pops in the same way. That can-trol sounds very interesting ❤✌
