    I've seen quite a few of the Garden Talk chats and for some reason this resonated with me much more than having all "big dawgs" in the room talking slightly and at some times completely over my head, and that's not saying much. I think I connected better with Chris and Joe's content as Joe admittedly says that he doesn't know everything there is about growing and the interchange between the two of them was more of a general learning experience for me. Subscribed to Joe's feed and will keep learning and growing. Great show !!

    This grow with 3 autos I got going actually got me sold on humidity. I brushed it off but got one and then it broke after the first grow. Now the next grow, going on now, I have no humidifier and I actually see the difference in the soil moisture and the leaf moisture. I have under 50% humidity this grow and it’s noticeable in the growth and just health and I have to mist or top water wayyyyyyy more now. 🙌🏽🙌🏽

    We start autos in a solo cup. They stay there for exactly 1 week then we transplant to a 4-5 gallon pot. We do this so we can sprinkle mykos and azos on the roots. We did an experiment on this the video is on our channel. Mykos and azos can double the size of your plants.

      do you see nutrient burn? maybe water more in between feedings and see if that helps. but if you don't see signs of overfeeding I wouldn't worry, are the leaves changing color to yellow? getting red stems? are they dark heavy green? if not you are *probably good

    - Flushing not necessary if chopping while plant is asleep. During dark time nutrients travel down & store in roots until lights on again where mutes go back up into plant. So harvest when dark, just before lights on.

    I use a $20 lux meter from Amazon because you can correspond the reading to par very easily. 70,000 lux is direct sun light. I do 20,000 to 30,000 in veg. When I move my lights up as the plants grow is when I increase the intensity. Early flower I do around 50,000 and mid flower go 💯 on my lights which is over 60,000 lux. Hope this helps those on a budget like me.

    I like to use those peat starter planters for everything I grow. I start all seeds in a wet paper towel, then plant them in the starter pots with organic potting soil. I like them because the roots will grow through them and you'll know it's time to replant. Then just put the entire thing into the final spot and you don't have any transplant shock

    Sweet new video!!! Hey Chris you should run a single bar led light like a covert led-x 100 with your bar styles like run them down the frame so kinda makes your light a square on outside so u need 2 of the singles to do this but it will help EVEN your par alot!!! I don't really know how to explain it but if you don't understand what I mean look up photontek sq300 they kinda did what I'm trying to say Idk why all companies haven't figured this out yet. then make us a video of u par testing it!! Can't wait to watch this video when I'm done working in the upstairs room run lol I brought my outdoor 6 foot tall plants inside last night man that was hard 40 gallon pots but to much humidity and rain and thieves!!! To leave outside. loving the videos!

      yes, more lights will equal more par .lol

    • @miker5700
      @miker5700 3 роки тому

      @@romanreckless8263 yea obviously but u don't want it to high and that will be just enough to even it out. And something Noone has done and everyone always looking for the lights with even par this is way to make the bar lights even on the sides with out lights, so I was sharing to fellow growers looking to improve since I do myself and have shared with other channels and ppl are now doing and loving results since companies haven't figured it out yet

    Long as you mitigate root zone stress. You can transplant auto flowers.
    If you decide to start in a solo cup then up pot. Make sure to do it before that tap root can hit the bottom of the cup.
    Transplanting autos is all about keeping the root zone as stress free as possible.

    I find you can actually extend veg time with some autos if you transplant at the right time
