Great review. Was looking fod the review for this particular paddle for a ling time. Thanks
No problem at all, and thank you! I hope it was helpful.
Probably your best review yet! Really liked the side view look of the hand battles showcasing the paddle. I got a Ballista v2 coming in the mail and would love to see a review on it. Direct competitor to the the more expensive Selkirk Luxx focusing on more control.
Hey thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I haven't heard much about the Ballista v2, you'll have to let me know what you think after you play with it!
I'd love to see your take on the ALW Paddletek 12.7 paddle
That would be a cool paddle to try out.. maybe I'll see if I can snag one!
Great video, thinking of getting the 10mm one. How does the power and the pop compare to the most powerful paddles you’ve played with?
I think the 10mm may be the most poppy paddle I've hit with, haha. It's really fun, but you have to be able to control it! It is also very light, so the power comes mostly from the pop and not so much the plow-through type brute power that comes from more heavy paddles, but the power is still high. After I added the lead tape, the power and pop both went up noticeably as well, and the paddle became more stable.
Thank you for the info! Once you lead it up enough, do you think the power would be more than something like the engage pursuit pro MX or the new gearbox PPE?
101 swing weight, that's super low. I wonder if the 12mm is just as low. What is the weight on your 10mm?
Thermoformed?
I don't remember exactly what it was, but it was pretty low! I want to say around 7.7 or so for the raw weight. Super, super light! And yes, it is thermoformed
@@PickleballMedicine Cool, I just bought a CRBN 12mm Thomas Wilson Signature paddle. What is your favorite paddle to play with?
Let me k how what you think of that... I bet they will play somewhat similar! I've played with he 14 and 16mm CRBN 1x, but not the 12mm.
That's a tough question to answer since I'm always playing with different paddles, haha... but I think right now I am going back and forth between the Mach 2 Forza and the Infinity Double Black Diamond. Both are more control oriented with good spin, and that's probabaly what my game struggles with the most right now... but ask me again in a month and it may be different 😅
