I dont play pickle ball but i play tennis and ping pong. If you have to return a low ball its harder to hit hard because the only angle u can hit is upwards. Top spin helps but if u hit hard aiming up its gonna go out of bounds. Seems like why they cant hit hard when returning a low ball
Volleying within a few feet of the net is illegal. Volleying behind that is extremely effective, and thus each team attempts to keep the ball short and low enough that volleying is impossible. Hitting the ball with "average power" as you say would simply lead to an easy volley for your opponent, so neutral rallies end up as little dink fests. It's a strange game in that sense - it doesn't have a lot of movement and instead it's more about hand skill, which is why older players tend to like it.
Controlling the ball and giving it a lot of curve is more important than brute force. Its easier to return a powerful, straight shot compared to a slower curved shot.

Please do not compare the athleticism required by Racquetball to Pickleball. If you do it is because you must have been a beginner racquetball player. In competition racquetball (I was an Open player in that sport for over 10 years) the ball moves at over 100 miles per hour and your speed and reaction time are crucial. Or even any kind of athlete…
or a fat dad who drinks beer all week
¿Cómo he llegado aquí? Mi 2020 es para enmarcar
Miras videos del tenis? Llegue aqui por que You Tube sabe que miro los videos de tenis. Me gusta este juego. Me gustaria jugarlo.
Those guys are so good
I once played the more laid back version of this game.Cucumberball.😂
Playing the game, these situations feel so intense. Watching it from a camera, looks boring af. Still love pickleball tho
el mejor video que he visto nunca, le doy gracias a mi profesor por abrirme un mar de oportunidades gracias a enseñarme este nuevo juego, dios os bendiga familia picklebalista
At first, I thought they were practicing for ping pong
The tennis turned itself into a pickle, hilarious
I've been playing this game for about two months. I looked up pros because ej thought it would be cool. I could kick their butt in a one vs two lmao
I dont get it. Dinking and Dunking up by the Net? What is the back court even for?
Probably new players
back court is service area.
and front court is non-volley area.
you can't enter that area when you volley.
Are red shoes a requirement?
This is the way
If you don’t wear red shoes you learn what the pickle in pickleball means
First time watching I’m amaze basically a low budget tennis game
Is the music at the beginning " Lips of an angel" by Hinder because it really sounds like it.
Me and the boys play better in gym class
same
Y’all probably don’t even use the kitchen
Shoot
this is an activity..tennis is a real sport
dropshot118 no kid pickleball is definitely a sport and as you get older you can still play it too
Still nobody has been able to invent a new game which can take on the traditionally popular games. This game looks ridiculous as well
This reminds me of racquetball without the walls. I'm sure it's a blast. Not sure about how popular it will get. Fads come in many shapes and forms.
@PS-yi7yq Well, it seems to be more popular than tennis by a lot, as a participation sport. I say this as a former tennis player who used to get super-irritated with pickleball players, but made the switch.
Pickleball is a fun social activity but there is absolutely no comparison.
You should all try Padel, you would love it!
I’ll be 80 one day 😎
This can't be a world championship.
Pretty boring huh
You’re right, it’s THE world championship
@@Dingbobber lmaoooooo. take a seat this a hobby not a championships
My back hurts from watching this
Interesting shot at 5 minutes
