Is your Solara a hard top or convertible? I am picking up a 2007 v6 Solara SLE Convertible for my daughter and like to update the stock radio to something like this. I believe this Solara radio is their "Premium JBL" radio - which I also think has a woofer behind the passengers back seat too. Might you know if that is correct? The 2007 Solara we are getting, the radio and climate controls look just like yours. It also has the extra little displays above the center vents.

Looks like they changed the layout of the silver dash kit. I can’t get the radio to fit in there and the layouts a bit different! Annoying they changed it

Yes there will be a small black plastic box on basically a ledge that is right behind the seat that has the subwoofer.

Parts I purchased are in the description but short answer no I got the legit PACs harness.

Only if you want to use the existing JBL Amp system and steering wheel controls.

Blue wire is typically for an external power amp

Yeah this didn’t fit perfect but I made it work. Had to customize the bracket until it did.

no, those would be a different generation so the stereo shape is different
