I love watching you work on this. The chill vibes takes most of the stress and anxiety I usually experience working on my hoopties lol I never replaced the belt on my 20v and I had coolant leaking out of the "adapter" on the cooling system. (It was jb welded blehhhhhh)

Mine bogged pretty bad until vvt kicked in. Also bought my ae86 with the swap already done... firewall was cut for dizzy. It was loud and stuff blew in the cabin lol but it was a gutted track car so... 🤷♂️
The black top was expensive when we did the 93 celica so we went for the silver top instead lololol but didn’t have to worry about the fwd to rwd conversion since we got it from the ae101
Used to run the coil on plug setup in an 86.. never liked the idea of the dizzy infront. Only disadvantage was the dwell time and the need for a tach adaptor ... love the build though.. simplicity.... heard the vvt pully....
what was the price on that panic harness? did you have to send in your gts factory harness for them to wire in the wiper plug? I need to find a pnp harness for my 20v swap and would like to know.. since its either the panic harness or the tweakd one.

You're the main reason I decided to get into jz engines (from the 2j chaser videos), which culminated in me buying a mk3 supra and 2j swapping it...best thing to happen to me in long time, except for the ole bank account lol. I'm basically broke now, but it's worth it! Got my stickers in today and I love 'em, keep it up!

The way I was taught to measure belt tension was twisting the longest edge, it should twist to about 90* of rotation from where it sits normally.

For that fuel line you might try finding an adel clamp. Although you aren’t supposed to use them on aircraft fuel lines, it’s a car so 🤷🏾♂️
